1. We stan a multitasker; reading, working out, and listening to music at once!

Ellen Hopkins is so good! I’ve loved her for years and she’s so underrated! She writes really heavy topics so well and I loved the verse style.
The rainbow section of the books was so pretty and Mesmerizing

Ellen Hopkins came and spoke to my YA class last semester when People Kill People came out. She had so many insightful things to say about all her books but especially that one! I can't wait to sit down and read it after you raved about it!

Hey beautiful! I admire your multitasking with reading and working out, but with strength training there has to be mind-to-muscle connection, otherwise you won’t see any results. Try reading on the treadmill or stairmaster! Love you!
thanks for the input! personally, i'm happy working out and sometimes incorporating reading. i don't do it all the time, just when i'm really into a book. plus my personal trainer has no problem with it. thanks for your kind words :)

Right now I am physically reading Challenger Deep and am about half way through. All I can say is wow what an amazing peice of literature and I think it should be required reading. I'm also listening to Skyward by Brandon Sanderson and really enjoying it!

I love Ellen Hopkins book, that's what her books will do to you, make you have the feels and very deep understanding! I have like 3-4 of her books. Her books are known to be mental health related and lots of trigger warnings, its so relatable to anyone who picks it up. I fell in love with Impulse by her because the characters are so just relatabe to me I had to get the sequel of it. People Kill People blew me away and I couldnt put it down for the life of me ^o^

I'm in the middle of a week full of exams (I live in the Netherlands)... Today I had English and I got 38/47 points... HOLY SHIT! I never score very high on English exams... Tomorrow I have French and I just had to give myself a break... a 40 minute break it turns out... On monday I have my last two exams and after that I can FINALLY start with the dark artifices!! So excited... Love your reading vlogs and I really like the way you talk about books💪🏻❤

it’s interesting to hear such a positive opinion on People Kill People! I’ve read some of Hopkins’s earlier novels and they had some majorly harmful mental illness and suicide rep, but maybe her storytelling with sensitive subjects has improved...

Ellen Hopkins is so talented! If you love hard hitting YA I suggest Impulse or Perfect for mental health and the Crank trilogy for addiction and I believe tricks or traffic is LGBTQ+ Ps. Started “The Way I Used to Be” today and it’s amazing!
