So glad someone else appreciated this! I was thinking it was either a remix of a Chrono Trigger song or a Xenogears remix... so I'm glad I was close too lol
I have watched a handful of your smash conception videos then I decided I would like to see how you play..... my conclusion is that your neutral game, patience, and your ability to read is great you honestly do practice what you preach. I watched your ganondorf vs esam’s pikachu my conclusion remains the same. I admire and respect your loyalty toward maining ganondorf.
Note: when I say parrying multihit moves, I don't mean all hits; only the last as shown in the ZSS example. Parrying all hits of multihits is NOT practical; parrying the last hit IS. Moreover not all final hits of multihits are parryable as far as I know, since shieldstun scales with charge. I did some testing and couldn't get a parry on second hit of fully charged Diddy Fsmash after shielding the first. If the final hit is parryable however, the point stands that the final hit of a multihit is a realistic candidate for parry.
I just found this channel and I love these videos. Keep up the good work. My only thing is the games in the video sometimes distract me and then I get lost to what you said (especially hard for people whose first language is not English) But good video nonetheless 👍🏻
Castro thanks for the feedback, man. I've been meaning to find a better background than my tournament sets, but I'm still searching for a good background that isn't so distracting.
Hey Silver, sorry for the late reply. I think Simon is really cool, and I want to develop his meta as best I can, but I don't think I'll co-main him, at least not for quite a long time.
Do you play other fighting games? Your vids always seem to have a unique take that seem FG inspired and I've never heard a Smash player say Yomi before.
You're right, but I left that out because burst options to punish parried projectiles was an example I hoped would extend to other similar options that don't quite qualify as burst options that're much more difficult to explain like parry > dash forward once > attempt to jab
You make it sound like it's five frames then one active in order to parry and somehow harder than previous games, if so, it's not that, the parry window is active for five frames, making it far easier than say the likes of melee
Too distracted by the savage Ganondorf plays to listen.
I really love how you pointed at the player cam in that one bit of footage, that was cool
Hey there. Just wanted to say that I'm always happy to hear Chrono Cross music appear in videos!

Reupload since the original had awful editing errors.

Oh yeah I am now huge fan.
Super underrated channel. Liked and subbed. Please keep them coming!
Worth watching twice
You can react to link's arrow given a little less than half the stage tho
Good Lord, that music took me right back
What's the name of the song and where is it from?

Another one you can try is, stick a marker in your hand, close your eyes, flail the marker around, and see if a buddy can catch your arm.

8:32 that was disgusting and beautiful at the same time
reverse warlock punch would have been a better punish, but other than that it was nutty
Yo it's back! what happened? Video disappeared for awhile
BRO the chrono cross music?? Ok ok.
Vermanubis what do you think of simon in ultimate and are you gonna co main him

@@Vermanubis ok
Parrying is not a "distant notion on reaction".
Are u sayng NOT to parrry proojectiles? OIDB
I'm mad you didn't cover the part where you can jump after a missed parry.
Commenting for the algorithm

You talked of burst option but you didn't say anything about when you don't have one
