Brought back the whole guns, looking up curled shows. Found out she was the voice of Vixen in The Fox and the Hound? Go figure. Kurt Russell was in it excetera. Fun stuff
At the time they all looked so grown up to me... I couldn't wait to reach their age to live the same adventures and intense relationships... Now they all seem to me so young!!!
I grew up watching this show! Because of the show I ended up working on a ship as an adult! It is nothing like the love boat! You work every day and long hours! yes, I been to a bunch of countries! But you really work your ass off!
The only difference for this Princess Cruise is that the staff are all friendly and supportive of each other. In real life, it could happen but most of the time IT'S NOT. LOL
The cast of this show is for the show the real workers on the pcl were blurred out or out of shot of the show those were the real workers keeping the ship afloat and the real workers sometime switched out at Ports along the cruise this was a real functioning cruise during taping of this show how awesome
I grew up watching this. What was so fun about this show was the way that it made every day seem like an adventure. I’d always pictured going on a cruise to be like the show. I can’t quite put my finger on what made it so appealing...the show, I mean. It just had a feel about the episodes that made them seem fun and exciting, but not complicated. Life just seemed simple in Love Boat world.
I loved this show as a teenager, when it first appeared on tv.I always thought of this as a 'feel good show'...most of the people on each ep were always upbeat and cheerful.I always liked its technicolor look, bright and clear.The theme was cool.I thought that kid of the captain's was lucky to have been able to always be on that ship.I remember that little boy from that era.

The plotlines of The Love Boat are actually pretty damn good, watching them again as an adult. At least these early episodes. I hate how in real life, when you read about a kid who died the parents usually end up breaking up afterwards.
Just finished watching this, and I'm still crying. I have been very (over)emotional lately (maybe it's my medication), I tend to cry when somebody else starts crying. I love Sandy Duncan. She was one of the major parts of my childhood, and I didn't even know it until I was older (she voiced Firefly the very first My Little Pony cartoon back in 1984, and My Little Pony was a big part of my childhood).
That kid is a very talented young actor. His dialogue is very natural...naturally comedic, and tons of personality. I feel like he grew up to be a famous adult actor now...but I could be wrong.
Funny how you can tell they filmed the country music scene without any music playing, because almost nobody is either clapping in rhythm...or even clapping in rhythm with each other 😂
He should be very happy his parents want him my abusive father and family didn't want me and they didn't love me... I feel anger hatred and betrayal...
I'm so sorry for you Victoria, my parents wanted me, but it seem like maybe to torture or sacrifice me. My mom always force me to go church, I like ten year old and one sun I go with her but I really no want to, and pastor get up and tell entire congregation he no preach no more because he have affair with very ugly and skanky piano lady and his poor beautiful wife whom I admit I had boy crush on she so sweet and to see her so embarrass and just break down to tears. This and many experience like always church relate and it OK if that give u quality life for you and others and I don't blame my mom, she can't know, but to this day she always so condescending and treat me like I'm crazy. And like seven year old I know Santa Claus is lie cuz kids at school plus I just knew, I confront and just say please mom, I know this not real but please I just need u tell me otherwise I defend u at school and she just would not tell me the truth, she let me go to school and defend santa and look like idiot, and she still not sorry, she says that's stupid and it really hurts my feelings, well, my situation obviously very different, but I sympathize with pain a parent can cause, the real pain is that I will always love my mom so much, I would miss her terribly if I had her not, I so afraid to lose her before these feelings can resolve. Sandy does not have a glass eye. But, yes, her sightless eye would tend to look different from her other one when she was tired - like spending the week crying and being emotional filming this episode.

I thought this was an unusually heavy plotline for the "feel good'" show, but good on them for having the guts to go with it I guess.
