I am completely happy with my stock 2.0t Touring for now. But It is very nice to see folks pushing the stock internals past 400+ HP. Honda really made a amazing engine with the K20C.
@@scrotiemcboogerballs2133 Well, used you can find them here and there. But new they do not make the 10th Gen Accord anymore. The 11th Gen is a 1.5t or a Hybrid drive train. I would never want to own a 1.5t in an accord, it's a smaller engine built for economy. I know I had to shop and wait for 4 months to find the 10th Gen 2.0t Touring I have now. I was very lucky to find it, the dealership hadn't posted pictures and I called the dealership and they sent pics. I traveled a few hours to the dealership the next day and bought it, then drove it home. It's been a really great car, smooth ride and plenty of power for my use. Good luck

It’s not $10,000 for parts. Ktuner: $600 Turbo: $2700 Downpipe: $750 Front pipe:$350 Intercooler: $600 (I got mine for $400 on Black Friday) Intake: $400. It’s a tad over $5000 for parts at full price if you catch sales you can get them for less. It’s not $10,000 even with install. I was quoted $2000 to install everything and tune.

This is insane power for the accord 2.0t. The stock 2.0 is already fast AF and able to beat many average cars out there. I own one but i would recommend changing the brakes out if you doing 500hp+ thats one of the cons among other small things.

Just installed mishimoto cold air and intercooler, runs great currently on phearable stage 3 tune but gonna get a custom e30 tune, the mishimoto intercooler didn't even need a charge pipe it works with factory
The 2.0T does not come with a CVT, you could get a 6 speed manual before 2022 and now you're stuck with the 10sp auto which is quite strong. You are not making this power with the 1.5L.
What about an upgraded turbo from a Type R? Also is the throttle body on the Type R a bit bigger? What about the Pilot’s TB? Or are they all the same from the Accord all the way to the Pilot and Type R? While the lower trim level Civic’s have smaller ones?

@@MattBruh the problem isn't power, it's torque. Should be safe if torque is kept below 250-280 lb-ft. Many L15s are pushing over 300hp but might as well get a 2.0t if the goal is to modify.
I would have added a trans cooler to the list as well and colder spark plugs. But those are the main parts. I’m not sure I would trust my Accord with 500whp since PRL stated in their old P600 turbo release that the automatic trans began slipping at 410 wheel torque. I wish someone would make billet internal parts for our transmissions or some kind of upgrades.

@@TheFK8Life yes port with traditional fuel is another option but initial setup is pricier. Single nozzle meth can get to 500ish without a port plate or manifold setup like the Skunk2, but a little risky imo with uneven flow to all cylinders
@Veggiemonster67 radium port setup is making 842whp on FK8 - flow is pretty even - accords are stuck on the 500s but eventually with port they should crack 600+ soon Single nozzle meth can only feed so much power wise and then becomes dangerous
@@TheFK8Life that's true but most of us are on 10at and passed 500whp you're definitely risking it. Clutch packs start to skip around 425ft lbs and one guy broke the torque converter around 550
Depends on your driving habits, the tune itself, how often you do maintenance on it (regular oil changes, transmission fluid changes, etc.). There’s literally too many variables.

Same as stock. We also have a lot of clients use a little higher viscosity if they live in a hotter climate area.
Map, is there any reason why you would stick to 0w20 on the P700 turbo? RV6 states that you ought to use 5w30 with their 660 turbo.

Yes, we always recommend doing all maintenance checks before modding any vehicle. Stage 0 is the most important thing for any car!

With these mods. 370whp on 93. With e30 410whp but water-methanol is needed to pass that. The accord fuel system is maxed out at 400whp about.

This is for the 2.0t equipped models, though the 1.5t is a stout motor!
