Funny thing is, the show ‘Back In The Barnyard’ gets even crazier in this, especially in Season 2. When the crew found out that their show would not get renewed for a season 3, they decided to try and get away with whatever they could for season 2, because what could stop them? Cancelation? It explains all the crazy stuff that happens.

(If you’ve seen the meme of a huge rat jumping out of a box towards the camera, with someone in a trench coat behind them, that’s where it comes from). I also swear there was an episode where Odis finds a crashed spaceship, and either pranks the gang by pretending to be an alien, or is stalked by aliens. Can’t fully remember. Some episode where the farm gets destroyed, and to get the money to repair it, they star in a show that’s literally about families living in destroyed homes and audiences vote for the family that should get the prize money. I think Pig decides to join the other family because he feels more accepted there. Odis (and the gang too) become literal super heroes at one point, and there as an episode event around it Lastly, I remember an episode where Pig runs a restaurant inside the Barn because of his Pie recipe, gets bossy, and eventually sells the recipe. Doing the trope of “my secret ingredient is [something disgusting/implied disgusting]” Yeah, the show gets weird and wild. Though I can’t remember which was season 1 or season 2, it was all like a massive fever dream, kind of like Jimmy Neutron, Fanboy & Chum Chum and Penguins of Madagascar.

I saw the film’s 2005 trailer (a year before the film’s release) and… IT LOOKED TERRIBLE. It looked more like a cruddy video game than an actual movie. Once a friend of mine gave me a pirated version of this movie, and when my whole family decided to watch it, all the dialogue was replaced with a few guys voicing the movie with heavy swearing included. We didn't even make it 5 minutes into the film lol
This is the only movie outside of the first land before time where a character just died and didnt have some long monologue. Barnyard has a more realistic death scene than any big budget modern movie

The player character was a dairy cow, so you could either be a boy or girl cow with udders and shoot milk at npcs and enemy characters. It didn’t kill anyone, cause kids game. So yeah, the world of “Barnyard: the original party animals” has collided with the world of warfare and weaponry
