So the new project is in! Its a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the salvage corvette is one mean machine! We got it in the shop and cant wait to tear this thing apart. in this video we pick up the vette from Miami Florida and deliver it to Spartanburg South Carolina where our shop is. Also we do a brief over view of the damage.

Guys, I've been building sports cars for twenty years... I watched your video, and it seems to me you guys have your hearts in the right place, but you guys are REALLY, VERY OBVIOUSLY, new at this, and don't know much about cars. So I want to tell you, I'm not interested in the giveaway, but I would LOVE to help with the build. I'll give you guys any build consultation you need, and even help you guys source quality affordable parts, probably get a couple sponsors in that process, and even put in some time turning a wrench or two... For free, just pay for the train ticket to get me there and I'd be happy to help. I mean, guys, you didn't know the vents over the rear wheels are air intakes for the supercharger/engine, and you said you don't need a blower because it's supercharged... Guys, a supercharger IS a blower, they're the same thing guys!... And that stuff is SUPER basic, entry lever, beginner stuff, that you don't know... And you're gonna take on building a complex, american supercar?!? If nothing else, hit me up for my email and let me give you guys consultation during the build. Goonzquad repaired Carbon Fiber Tail Light filler Panel on 2014 Dodge Viper they went to Oreilly Auto Parts or Auto Zone & bought a Carbon Fiber Repair kit which was a residue that you mixed simular to Auto Body Filler & put it on that Tail Light Filler and you could not even tell it had been damaged go to their You Tube Channel & check them out & you'll see how & what to use it will show you step-by-step how it is done

@@Scincid I don't understand you Scincid how is he going to know anything if he does not COPY someone as you call it I was just giving him an idea how he could fix it & was not meaning to tell him or anyone else to COPY anyone I just saw GOONZQUAD fix a PANEL around the TAIL LIGHTS on their VIPER that was like the SPOT on his CORVETTE & when they did you could not even tell there had been anything wrong with it looked that good (SO THERE ARE IS MY ANSWER TO YOUR LAME COMMENT)

I worked on carbon fiber airplanes for a few years, if you need advice on it hit me up. It's similar to fiberglass but there are some key differences to it. Beautiful project guys, nice score.

Nice pick! Those top inlets in the rear are for transmission cooling on the drivers side and differential cooling on the passenger side.

@@CarWars Did you find any names on the paperwork in the glovebox? I found the original owner of my Mustang project, because a birth certificate was in the owners manual! A quick Google search and Viola!

@@CarWars Do you not have the Title for the Car if you do that should have the previous Owners name on it unless it was a Bank possessed Title or it was a Loan Car

This is definitely gonna be a sic build. Too bad I could not have met you guys when you came down to Miami to pickup the Z06. Like Perfect Clone stated those vents on the back quarter are for Diff and Tranny Cooling, the outlet vents for air exits are on the sides of the rear bumper. There are some vids by HorsePower Obsessed and Rick Corvette Conti that walk you thru the differences in the 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ packages on the Z06. All part of the Active Aero the C7 has.
