Big thanks to Joe for coming out and doing it for the people. It doesn't get any tighter than that. And that drummer! Man, was he in the pocket or what? Wow.
One doesn't have to have grown up with this beautiful music in and of its time, only to appreciate music at its core. To thank all that participate in the making of these videos........Thank You so very much for all of the time, effort, so unrecognized within this day. If it were not for the tedious work, the devotion of such aspirations given the juices of creativity at any given time but of these wonderful times, who knows where our freedoms of soul would have led us. Thank you all for these blessing of years gone past, may we all have a contemporary moment in which those burdens of past bring our minds, once again, full circle and conclude, desperation is for the weak.......great minds never succumb to passion.....only the reality of obsession....."It was never for nothing.........!"
My son's bass tutor once said "Music comes out best when played with friends" - epitomised in this joyful clip. Good friends making great music together. Much love in the room.☮☮❤❤
Damn, you've gotta be kidding me! This is the best rendition of this song I've ever heard. My strat is at the luthier getting set up with .008's and this is the first tune that I will be working on.
This is so good I am simply amazed how well you guys pulled this off. Best of live music performance on the tubes or cable TV. With a genius "house band" and perfect arrangement, mix and production. Impressive.
The look on the drummers face is like "holy fuck joe walsh is playing funk 49 right in front of me and im playing the drums with him" such a great song.
JOE & DARYL 👀😳🤯 you guys are dynamic and dynamite 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 p.s Joe, I gotta say, but at the end of the video, you are right on the point of today's music, brother 🙌❤🙏
Daryl Hall should revive this show but focus more on interviews than performances. I think that’d be a huge hit. Especially getting newer acts too, we know their faces and songs but we dont know who they are
I'd like to see that. A lot of times, the conversation at the table was just a tease of what could have developed. Two cases in point were Joe Walsh and Tommy Shaw.
Aaah, vintage old school Joe "Hey, I'm an analogue guy... Beyonce had a huge record. 5 writers, three producers... and there's 8 words to the song...(chortles)" - 😂😂🤣🤣😭😭
I remember Joe playing this stuff and some excellent solo stuff before becoming an Eagle. He was already great but I thought he wasn't a fit for the Eagles at the time. But he unselfishly developed a fantastic duel lead style with Don Felder and the rest is history. Joe is one of the greatest guitarists in rock history on his own. And he's Richard Starkey's BIL. Just sayin'
Joe. What a fuckin guy. He's one of the greats. Yeah he's an eagle but he is also fuckin JOE. Thank god we got him.
Truer words have rarely been spoken.
He’s more Joe than Eagle. The man’s just flat out nasty…..
Couldn’t have said it better myself, man.
The power of that voice and guitar playing!!!
He was Joe before being an eagle
DAMN!!!!!! Darryl, You definitely blew the internet up with JOE WALSH on this one!!! Loved every note!!!!
This is why I’m subscribed to this channel. Joe Walsh and Darryl and his band jamming. Great stuff.
Still a strong group of the best there has ever been .
Thank you all !!!!!
Talking about some great tunes!!!! Rock on Joe!!!!
Big thanks to Joe for coming out and doing it for the people. It doesn't get any tighter than that. And that drummer! Man, was he in the pocket or what? Wow.
Bass player was on fire!!!
The talent in that room is off the charts...
James Gang Fillmore west 1969 December. I was there, Loved it
Here's to feeling music like this until I pass on. One of my favorites form Daryl's House.
Usually Daryl’s band makes the guest better. Joe makes Daryl’s band better, any band better!
Joe came into my flower shop in ipswich- he was kind and humble. He’s one of the greatest! ❤
He is one of the greatest guitarists out there with an unmistakable sound. Love him❤

Greatest bass line on the original recording. I followed it through note for note when developing my rock chops back in the day.
Fantastic. Both these guys look and sound amazing.
Hey Daryl, good to see you buddy! You’ve brought together some of the best talent out there! ROCK ON!!
Joe’s energy and vibe is insane. So much power behind those vocals and of course also singing on the guitar. Love it!

Joe the Great!!
Sounds great. Joe's still got it!
This is why I’ve loved Joe Walsh since I was 12 years old. James Gang Live at Carnegie Hall rocks harder than any live album, anywhere, ever. Yep.
Note that the keyboard player is really into this. He isn't, always. Joe is just golden.
Love it 💚💚💚

Great musicianship. And the drummer is a Swiss Army knife, he plays everything
Priveleged to have seen Walsh "live" in his prime with James Gang, Barnstorm and Eagles. Always a favorite.
You have been very fortunate. Wow.
Sounds great 😘❤️
How Fckn awesome is this recording!

I want to thank you Joe Walsh for letting me be myself !!!!!!
I’m not certain who the gentleman on bass is but dang he’s smooth
Wow! Great version! Love the groove! Joe is Joe, awsome! Awsome band, love it! Thanks guys!
Great great song everyone sounded on point thanks to you Daryl and all the guys
The look on the drummers face is like "holy fuck joe walsh is playing funk 49 right in front of me and im playing the drums with him" such a great song.

Luv him
Rocking out like usual! But I am really digging that snake skin bass! I am always checking out all the rigs!

Ringo's brother-in-law
Great!
Good Jammin boys!
Aaah, vintage old school Joe "Hey, I'm an analogue guy... Beyonce had a huge record. 5 writers, three producers... and there's 8 words to the song...(chortles)" - 😂😂🤣🤣😭😭
Luv him 2
My first concert and Cheap Trick opened for him in Chicago 1983
The drummer on this cut is phenomenal! The whole thing is off the chain though, but the bass and drums are locking everything in.
Tight.

Well we made it it , like nothing to it. Lol!
Grande clássico do RnR
Holy Jesus can you imagine what some of the Eagles songs and sounds would be like if they let this kind of creativity loose?

Sadly our children will only know AI snd fake music. If we try to tell them they wont see it anyway.
I Mail them to them.
The Kids Love Daryl 3:32 🎉
I think Joe was a wasted talent in the Eagles. I mean they weren’t a rock band….😮
He's so cool!!!
