I'm from England and I followed Marcos all through V8's and missed him but at the same time he was amazing in NASCAR and made it far more interesting especially in the sprint races he was unreal.
Great personality was really sad we walked away from the sport was great working with him as well really knew his car knew what he wanted from it and how to get it
If he stayed in supercars he would of been un touchable him Ingall and SBR were in a league of there own, if they kept going and got some good talent and funding I guarantee they would be Red bulls number one competitor

Stayed there and it's a beautiful spot, wild and very cold. Marcos happened to be there on our stay, good bloke.

What a beautiful spot, I stayed near there, fly fishing with dad as a kid on holiday and damn it was cold, some of the lakes were frozen 😁
Marcos coming to America got me interested in v8 Supercars. Legendary across the pacific. Greatest "road course ringer" in NASCAR history.

His driving style was far better suited to nascar… much too dirty for Supercars

Spent a week there in 1985 prior to heading south for 1986 - certainly at the time the stay wasn't exactly palatial!

They should have some veteran races at various SC rounds.
These 2, Skaife, Ingall, Crompo, the Kelly’s etc. just 5 or 10 laps.
