- In today's video, I'll be taking a look at Foglands, a roguelite for the PSVR2. Survive the fog as it rolls in while trying to locate a giant sand worm after the fall of civilization.
★ Despite hearing some issues with enemy mechanics at release I've yet to come across any myself. The visuals on PSVR2 are absolutely fantastic and the game runs very smooth. I'm not the biggest fan of picking up items in this game as it's kinda junky and also is an instant pull unlike styles of the HL: Alyx variety. The music is good and ominous with decent voice acting and the combat feels overall fairly solid if not a bit easy. It's a good roguelite for fans of the Genre or someone looking for a new roguelite to jump into.

I heard there was a update to fix some of the issues but I still didn't buy it. Canceled my pre order after seeing reviews.
I get that. It got some bad press at launch and understandably so. I wasn't sure if there had been a patch yet or not but I actually had a pretty decent time playing it but as I've said if your looking for a Light Brigade alternative this is not it
Honestly, the game has its fair share of bugs and it needs more enemies and better AI. Lots of the loudest complaints are user error; grabbing items works just as well as any VR title, it just feels absolutely terrible until you realize what the game expects you to do. Me personally, I don't think people should buy it in it's current state, unless they are really patient and don't mind some jank. If the game gets sorted out with an update it could seriously be one of the best games on the platform. There are so many great things to this game but most people won't be patient enough to see it, rightfully so when all is said and done. Not trying to snake views but I streamed like 20 hours of the game, no commentary, and also made a tips video. Check it out if you want to see what the game looks like when played by someone who knows the quirks and has mastered the controls, combat, etc. I loved my time with the game. 🍻 Great video, liked and subscribed!
