sir this video had no right being as absolutely cool as it was. I was taken in immediately. You and your son remind me of myself and my oldest boy. And he loves bikes too.
Thanks! I’ve been checking out gravel bikes. I’ve been primarily a mtbr but did a solo bike packing trip (at age 66) a few months ago on my specialized entry level hardtail. I have a fs diamondback for the mountains and also have an ebike I bought for $300. I couldn’t pass up that deal (from a friend). I’m at Frontier Senior on TH-cam.
The Poseidon Redwood is on my top 4 short-list for the final gravel bike I will end up getting soon. Looks like great value for the money. Only hesitation I have is the weight (at about 28.5 pounds). I already own a 37 pound boat anchor of a mountain bike which is very fatiguing to ride. I want to try my hand at some long distance, multi-day bikepacking adventures with the Redwood and think I would need to knock 4 to 5 pounds off it. I was thinking a carbon fork and a new alloy wheelset with some skinnier 48c tires... and hopefully a bigger chainring would fit on the frame for a little more top end speed on the road sections. Did you manage to do any more off road riding with your Poseidon since your first rides with it?

Hey man, I really appreciate that. He's one of a kind for sure! We love our bikes :)

It's not lite but I dont really care about that anymore. Im not trying to set any records LOL.... nor could I if I wanted to
On your intro you show a stem with a close up of what appears to be the graphics of an SLR's shutter speed dial... Yes?
That is correct LOL
What tires did you ultimately go to? Looking to change mine as well
I never have changed them lol. Still need to
how do you feel about the L frame size? i'm 6'1 and concerned i should've maybe gone with the XL
I think if your 6'1 the XL is probably the right choice
Would have loved to have seen more of the bike
