I hope Danny films these shows for the ones who can't make it :-) also it's about time Mark and Dave went out on tour.....surely there must be hours of material between these two.
I'm from Great Yarmouth and I remember those shows at The ABC Regal ...The Beatles played there twice alas before my time so I had to make do with Tom O'Connor
Loved the story of Spud and the undertaker. Great stuff gentlemen and it's always a pleasure when Danny's on. The 150 show will be marvellous and much anticipated.
I went to see Danny on tour a few years ago at Southend. I was living in Basildon at the time. He went on for so long I eventually left while he was still on stage and ran to the nearby station. I missed the last train home! I had no option but to get a minicab back to Basildon. It cost me £45!!
Ive just read " Going to sea in a sieve" by Danny Baker & i was so hooked on it i couldnt wait to come home from work & get buried into it. Loads of humour & musical anecdotes. Also loved Danny when he was on bbc 94.9 Fm. Since the crap bosses removed him ive not bought a licence for the bbc.
Always respected Danny - ever since he asked listeners to ring in to his live radio show with urban myths, and cut me off as soon as I mentioned Captain Pugwash!
Songs For Beginners? Great album, also the underrated follow-up Wild Tales. Keef [sic] Hartley's Battle of North-West Six [sic] is well worth checking out.
Just watched a Till Death Us Do Part from 1967 'Till closing time do us part' . Tarbie walks into the pub and Alf is pestering him and he only does exactly the same bald head routine on Alf....weird as up until that point I was thinking Danny and Alf have some shared characteristics. Life imitating art.... or something like that.
I bloody miss Danny on the radio, absolutely shocking that he hot hounded out because of a tweet that had nothing to do with race or racism in any way shape or form!
Saw him twice, the first time on the Cradle to Grave tour and again the following year. The best three and a half hours you will ever spend.

Danny is such a fabulous raconteur. He sounds so enthusiastic about everything he talks about.
It's the endless enthusiasm Danny exudes. Nobody else like the Blackheath boy.
Danny is pure class........I have never listened to that station in London since he walked out!......They were mad to allow that happen! The end!
Ditto for me as well!
I agree. Danny Baker is a fountain of musical knowledge.
Always love a Danny episode!
Love Danny Baker! Please get him back on the christmas episode again!
Bit of a racist gimp

Wonderful. Please don't let too much time pass before you discuss the records Danny will be keeping. Cannot wait for that.
Danny: a cavalcade of entertainment. Who else cites Anita Harris? Love him.
Always liked Danny. Think I used to listen to him on GLR many moons ago.
Good to see him.
I remember that, i think he had an american lady on it called Laurie maybe?
Used to love him talking about old tv shows and stuff.
Fantastic interview. Thanks.
I was at the Johnny Winter concert at the RAH, Feb 23rd 1971, his 28th birthday I think.
Danny's a great story teller
These 3 tours should of been filmed.
The stories are priceless.

A Christmas Special when Danny is on!!

Bloody brilliant. Danny Baker is the fountain of salmasis, when it comes to musical knowledge. Cheers!
Looking forward to seeing him in Winchester.
another great one, thank you sirs!
Love the box of OMO on the shelf. Now everyone hates Harry and his misses, can we please get Danny back where he belongs on national radio?

Liked the mention of Streisand's "Stoney End". Great, as Baker said, and a stone cold cert for my Desert Island box.
Written by Laura Nyro.
Danny is the 'punk' Peter Ustanov.
Danny is the man 👑👑👑👑
good stuff
I'm sure it's time we heard Danny Baker's 150 best
Always respected Danny - ever since he asked listeners to ring in to his live radio show with urban myths, and cut me off as soon as I mentioned Captain Pugwash!
Nobody, but nobody can talk like Danny Baker talks.
Anyone got a link to that Millwall/Tarby clip?

I have the original Pith helmet call if you'd like it?

Always fun. Just sometimes it would be nice if he took a breather AND listened a bit more to what others had to say.
