Love your videos Chase, always getting new ideas on how to travel more efficiently. Recently flew across the country with: GR2 34 lt, I stick my 2 E-bags packing cubes in there along with my Goruck wire dop kit for toiletries, Goruck field pocket for all my tech and a little maxpedition mini for all my first aid stuff. My phone, extra battery, wallet, all the Covid stuff like extra masks, wipes, etc. Throw the pack in the overhead compartment and keep my magsatch with me. super streamlined for my use and got a lot of my ideas from your vids, thanks!
Never thought I would be looking for bag reviews and end up getting philosophical words of wisdom. New subscriber, who loves organizational bags and I’m guessing who needs some f***ing life lessons! Keep up the great work.
I’ll deal with the cold anytime. I can always layer. I can wear thicker and heavier clothes and coats. During the extreme heat and humidity, you can take off everything and still be taken out by overheating and worse heat stroke.
9:51 "Forgets" to take memory medicine. Classic Chase. You need a Netflix show traveling the world and sharing experiences and life thoughts. I'd watch it.
As a digital nomad filmmaker, also bought the Brevite Jumper and I was thinking about to travel with same setup as yours! Problem was that I was stubborn to be a "one-bag" guy, but who cares if I am a "two-bagger" !? So I'm looking for that second bag; I have the PK Travel Backpack for my clothes but it's heavy. So I'm deciding between the PK duffel vs PAKT one. 🤔 🤔
I know this is a roller-style carry-on, but when I travel I use the Electric California (they're known for sunglasses/sport goggles), 42.5l Electric Small Block Roller Bag. It has some similarities to the well-known Burton bags, but it is the largest, tightest (uses space very well) bag I found. It has a bucket style bottom/half of clam-shell and a soft top, making it great to squish into rental cars, overhead, etc. I can travel with that and a med-sized backpack to Europe for +3wks in the winter months (snow & rain) and have room to bring home some goodies too. I've dragged it down cobblestone in London, Lisbon and beyond with ease. I have used an LLBean Deluxe Book Pack (1.5lb 32l) for lighter travel.
New dad here! Would love to see a bag set up for newborns, toddlers and kids!! Bottle bag, diaper organizers and the ever important snack bags! Thanks!
I got 2 kids,, i used my old ThinkTank Retrospective 30.. Did the job just fine. I have a separate duffel for clothes and other supplies that I just keep in the car
I’m traveling with the Peak design travel backpack and the Alpaka bro a sling x until I’ll get my super awesome Pakt/Chese Reeves travel backpack, super excited to get it. 🤩 I’m also traveling with peak design small packing cubes, Dopp kit from Aer, electric tooth brush fra quip, tech pouch from peak design, water bottle from memobottle and coffee tumbler fra hydro flask.

“Vintage” Northface something something 32 liter. Works great for week trips. For day trips I can bring the goods. Camera just wear around the neck, means I have to go for that hipster travel style.
What are you doing posting so late at tonight bruh? None of us are traveling really now, but we will be again in the future and this is always a favorite topic of mine. Important to go through both thought process of what and how much you pack as well as the brands.

As a pro roadie, I am rolling the Pelican Air 1615 as my checked ( which is a fuckin steamer trunk for you) when out for a couple weeks or more. Camera and batteries in a Peli 1535 easy stow in cabin etc. On the body I have alternating; a Northface Overhaul 40 (which has timed oot really, looking for the replacement) and the Maxpedition 12.5L Skyridge Tech messenger with added expandable bottle pouch as a sidecar. Hard goods are set. Soft goods are in flux although the MAxi Skyridge is pretty bitchin for all around quick and dirty EDC CCR etc etc expialidocious. Yo.
Hi, what bag/protective measures do you use for your camera and lens when traveling? I'm planning to go backpacking through Europe when I'm able to and all I have is my Sony a6000 (with its 16-50mm) and my 55-210mm lens so already pretty minimal but the thing I'm having an issue with is finding the most minimal but protective case/bag to protect them while they are in my travel backpack or a minimal travel daypack that's easy to pack, protective, and won't break the bank? because I have my basic sony bag it came in but it takes up more space then I want it to so any recommendations on a case for both of them or affordable/minimal day bag to put them in?
Awesome video Chase, very informative and nicely sectioned out with the timestamps. Also love the accents! Currently "travelling" with an Aer TP2 XPAC - although not doing too much travelling nowadays. :)
I wear socks, in shoes. because otherwise, my feet get stinky. i find that, when i wear socks, they tend to "absorb" the sweat, and i can just replace the socks for non-stinky feet (Usuallywhen i get home from work)
Wow... That was a lot. Delectable midnight treat. 🤤 Love the four sigmatic chagra packs and alpha brain. Now Im curious about the vitamin packs. Good stuff as always. 👌🏾
Hey Chase! I'm looking for a small minimal backpack for traveling to carry my fuji camera and a few other things. I really like the brevite jumper but I don't think it's weatherproof? Do you have any suggestions for a similar backpack thats weatherproof/resistant? Doesn't have to be a camera bag, I'll use a small camera insert.
Hey Chase. I also have Morton's Neuroma and have been struggling with it for over two years until I found the cure, which was wide toe box shoes/barefoot shoes. Regular socks also causes some slight pain for me, but toe socks works perfectly. Would recommend injinji toe socks if you want some socks that doesn't aggravate the foot.
I think you'd benefit from delving deeply into the Ultralight backpacking Hiking world .......tons of your carrying philosophy themes carry over some may even blow your mind
i know cordyceps is a large family with only one strain actually being the zombie fungus, (even then, does not affect humans) but i still don't think i could risk it XD
The whole vitamins just make expensive pee is mainly for people who go crazy excessive and who don't understand your body requirements in regards to nutrition so they take supplements that are redundant with their diets. Vitamins can actually be useful especially when you are travelling since most travellers dont eat so heathily but are more prone to illness thus things like vitamin C can be good for an extra boost. Also, some people like myself have deficiencies and its not always possible/convenient to balance that out with food intake especially whilst travelling.
@@kuroneko8343 Short of having a medical deficiency (most commonly low iron, side effects of pregnancy, diseases etc) or suffering from malnutrition, there is no reason to take vitamins. Eating normally (not even super-healthy diets or anything) will give you all your required vitamins. C is in tonnes of food, it's extremely unlikely you would be deficient in C.
If you really want to be healthy you should focus on lowering sugars, improving gut health and balancing fibre intake as those are common issues people have and proven to work in improving health. Unfortunately, it's just not as easy as popping some magic pills and there are no companies doing ad campaigns to convince us to eat more vegetables...
LUGGAGE TIPS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 Tie three or four colored ribbons around the handle to your luggage to warn others that this is NOT THEIR luggage. Tie your skiies, duffel bag, backpack and what ever else with matching ribbons-even your computer case. If you are a Travel Agent, you could hot gold stamp one ribbon with your name and phone number. Send them a set of ribbons, red and blue and BLACK to your customer as a gift. Record this gift in your database so you don’t duplicate yourself. Buy a gold hot embossing machine. To be sneaky about the tape, put your phone number on the STICKY side of the tape. Nothing is on the surface side of this tape. Tip #4 HIDDEN IDENTITY Put your phone number on a 2” x 1/2” piece of fabric or plastic sheet. Use colored Duct tape, such as black or red or neon, to tape this message to the top side of the handle. Ah man, I love these types of videos I really wanted to see this video yesterday but we were paddleboarding at Lost Lake. It's always interesting to see how people can pack minimally and what we can gleem off that. Those Radius toothbrushes are the best! We've been using them for quite some time. Since you have little ones, one product that is magic is the Argentin 23. They make a gel for for scratches and injuries (I believe it can be used orally as well for tooth pain) and rarely stings yet this stuff will overcome pretty serious infections... Great for the little ones and adults alike. They make a sinus spray as well, which stops colds and allergies in their tracks and you can also use it as a throat spray. We just buy the large refills now. We don't travel without it and the Gel is always in our pocket boo boo kit. Also, Burt's Bees Bug bite stick. It's the best we've found.
Jeeze. How is this guy so talented and wholesome. Turns a mundane product like packing cubes into something extraordinarily interesting.

If you dare, put your phone number DIRECTLY ON THE FABRIC Liner of the case WITHOUT USING TAPE. Or, put your name and phone number on this tape. If all identity is stripped from your case, you have this to show. If someone steals it and rips off identity tags, you can show the police officer the inside tape...
To be sneaky about the tape, put your phone number on the STICKY side of the tape. Nothing is on the surface side of this tape.
Tip #4 HIDDEN IDENTITY
Put your phone number on a 2” x 1/2” piece of fabric or plastic sheet. Use colored Duct tape, such as black or red or neon, to tape this message to the top side of the handle. This message is under the tape hidden from view. The lettering does not touch the sticky part. Wrap it 2-3 times. Also include Tips 1,2,3 above. If you need to prove identity of the case, just unwrap it and show.
Tip #5 ADDING UNIQUENESS
Use 4 ribbons
Add 1 designer ribbon
colored duct taped handle
Stencil SPRAY PAINT a 2” or smaller stencil letter or number or word or your initials to the suit case exterior surface in addition to using all the other ideas here. Stencil spray the BOTTOM OF THE CASE as well.
Stencil spray paint a letter to the TOP ribbon.
Use ribbons that are wider or more narrow than 1”.
Put a travel sticker on the case.
Tip #6 WEIGH YOUR OWN
Scales accuracy varies at different airports. If you are even 1 pound over, you pay. So, regulate yourself. Found on Ebay, buy a
HAND HELD DIGITAL SCALE

Tip #7 GPS TRACKING DEVICE

Old norwegian saying. Weather ryhmes with clothing in our language
