in this season they buffed the death numbers (you get revived sooner) but on the other hand if you always die well gg you depend on jg who will never make good plays (speaken by my own experience) hard to find good jg these days...

The main thing to remember when playing ranged tops like Vayne or Quinn is that you don't need to try to solo kill your opponents immediately just because you have a range advantage. It's often much better to focus on on the wave and not missing any CS. Also, tricking a champ like Darius or Daren into over pushing their wave at level 1 then freezing on them near your tower can be really strong as a ranged top laner as they won't be able to farm your casters under tower and makes them have to worry a lot more about ganks. I'll do this a lot if my jungler can gank well early as the enemy jungler rarely shows up for counter ganks all the way over by my tower.
Demolish abuse: You may want to use demolish frequently when your opponent is basing frequently. Extra proc or 2 makes it easier to take the turret at 10 minute mark
the thing thats stopping me from climbing is not my teammates, me, or the enemy, its the game. as in im bronze 3, stuck getting 16+, out of 20 games in ranked i won 18, have 89% winrate on soloq kata, i carry almost every game, the thing is if i lose 2 games to get it back i need 5 games.
As someone with an ancient account with ruined MMR who started playing a lot of ranked this year, you don't necessarily need to make a new one like people are saying. If you have a lot of skins or are otherwise attached to this account, you CAN un-fuck your MMR by playing and winning enough games. Look at it this way: you're basically smurfing at this point. The game doesn't want you doing that forever. You will eventually stabilize and climb if you maintain a winrate over 50%.
As others have said you just need to play more games, your MMR will eventually stabilize but it does feel like shit to get to that point. I had the same issue when I went from silver to plat a couple of seasons ago and then again from plat to diamond, climbing was slow even with 60%+ winrates both times but it did eventually level back out to a +20 -20 w/l and on seasonal reset my MMR adjusted to my visible rank.

Video games can teach you how to improve on your ability to reach your objectives. Playing lol with the intent to improve at the game teaches you extremely valuable skills: - emotion management - communication - reading intents - critical thinking - estimating risks - staying focused - non friendly collaboration - dealing with criticism - etc You can also play the game for fun and learn very little. How you treat the game is up to you.
If you play an off-meta laner in essentially any role then your core mechanics begin to matter the most, being able to manage wave states, last hitting, and recall timers become integral to keeping your fun pick from being a troll one.
Weird choice to take damage just to crash tower. Seems to just make you super vulnerable to getting all inned and murdered. Or giving the enemy top laner a double kill when your jungler messes up their gank. Especially someone like Set, who no joke, somehow killed both me and my jungler at full hp when all 3 of us were lvl 4.

I’m just getting flashbacks of the junglers that come level 2 or 3 top lane when I lose Hp because I hit the enemy. Doesn’t matter if the wave has more minions, I have to burn a summoner or die. Wards don’t always work.
Toplane is so useless at this point its fun to play toplane because of the duels but your game gets ruinedif the enemy picks vayne or some other bullshit and half of the times after 13 minutes you open tab and see your botlane 0/20 and theres nothing you can do

if you're going to die instead of recalling remember to do it before level 6-7 because the timer after those levels ramps up super quickly

I think its like 15 seconds and a little longer for Aram. Keep in mind that dot might fck with this timing

I'm not 100% sure this is still accurate, but i think you need to wait 13 seconds before you take the first tower shot. Something like that.
