Tough course for a first time driver but she handled it well. Dad's blood on the other hand....LOL! I taught my 12 year old daughter to drive a manual transmission first. Where we lived was all private roads anyway. Most were gravel roads. She took to it right away. A real natural.
I learn to drive on a manual but not drove once since then well except for my tractor. Its sort on manual but not the same. I wished I had that old ford pickup I learned on.
For an 11 year old on a truck the size of a house....not bad at all, Haylee! Not bad at all, young lady! It's a lot to take in, especially in an area with so much stuff around you. But time = experience so hang in there! And great job, young man! You are doing an incredible job showing your young ladies the ropes. One day soon, before you even know it, the little man will be behind that wheel. Thanks so much for sharing your family time with us....it's greatly appreciated! Take care, be safe and God bless!
Wow, Haylee is doing an excellent job for an 11 year old!! Your daughters will be able to teach their little brother things that you taught them all!! He's absolutely adorable!! Your wife and daughters are as beautiful as ever!! Take care and God Bless y'all always
Way to go Haylee you were doing a great job at 11 years old and running a 20 ton truck. I am proud of you. Keep up the good work you’ll be out there helping dad before too long doing all the truck driving you just tell him to step over in the other seat and you’ll take over.😊
Well, Haylee is driving 20 tons of fun. I am sure she will improve in time. Just like when we were learning to ride a bicycle. She is willing to learn that is what's important. See you were or is blessed with a baby boy. I call you blessed. May God continue blessing you and your whole family forever and ever. Well, continue having fun teaching your girls how to drive the 20- ton truck. I enjoyed viewing all of your videos, they are fun to watch. Keep having fun, fun, lots of fun. (David, Texas, USA)
Great job! At least you put her in an idiot proofed truck. I was put in a 77 Mack R when I was 10-11 years old. Lots of laps around the fields back then. She will remember that day forever. Congratulations
Way to go Haley & Dad! My Uncle Joe was a diesel mechanic and he taught me how to drive a bulldozer when I was 9! 2 years ago I got my Class A license!
Congratulations on a handsome health son ! Love the truck. Always a good day seeing your post . Coming to Michigan may 30-june2 going to ludington and mackinaw island married 38 years may 31 raising your children will be the best life you will ever live , your giving me hope in americas future with how your raising your children . Always watching .
This is a great way to teach a kid to drive. A path to follow, obstacles to avoid, but nothing that's going to cause critical damage to anything if something goes wrong. I learned to drive in a gravel pit. Nothing to hit but dirt walls, but lots of rocks to avoid. I like how dad tested her repeatedly on the break as well as explaining to her why he was doing so. This changes it from an "annoying repetitive thing dad is making me do" in her brain to a "this is important and matters" thing. -- You did a great job Haylee. Enjoy these days. =)
Sometimes we dont give kids enough credit, they can really do a lot of things we might think they cant, when they have support like this young lady they excel at it.
Chad you remind me of my Dad teaching me to drive a Semi, joking calmness and patience. Hayley great job. Hank is so adorable and 2 months old already yikes. Hope everyone are doing well Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲
You are a very patient and good instructor……..that is a beautiful truck and it must come in really handy! What a thrill for an 11 yr.old to drive something that big! Good job!
Lol i wish i could drive that thing. My dad worked for AM General back in the early 80's and i loved all the military trucks. He would occasionally bring the smaller ones home for a weekend because he knew how much i loved trucks. She did a good job for her first time, and dad did a great job teaching. Couple more years and she'll be backing trailers in the bush.
What big sister can do little sister can do too and Haylee not everyone can drive a monster of a truck, very well done...... Chad congrats to you, Niomi and family to your new addition of baby Hank and your ' mini-you ' look a like...
lol, that was great! my son is 13, and can't wait to teach him to drive. I wish I had land to be able to teach him ahead of time, so he could learn ahead of time, and be more responsible once he is of age. I am sure your kids will benefit greatly from these sessions
My grandparents would take my brother and I out on the two tracks and let us drive their old Chevy Chevette. The good old days! Great memories too! Take your son out on some back roads or some two tracks! He’ll remember it forever!
That's why fathers like him are epic... my father taught me how to drive a car when I was 8, on an abandoned airstrip of course. The more parents teach their kids stuff like this early on, the easier their lives will be in the long run. Personally I would only feel comfortable in a cab over engine truck tho.
We are farm people. Pretty much most of the kids that are big enough to run a tractor was learning how to farm. It's easier now because tractors and combines are a lot easier to work.
hey hey my ginger bearded brother!! Its been a minute since I last watched youtube very sorry for my absence, good news though! Got a new job, got a baby on the way, buying my first home! Things have been crazy for me lately lol, but Man its good to see ya still posting videos! Your baby girls have gotten so big!!! Man they grow up so fast! My first go at driving was in a 1966 Chevy Impala 4 Door that my parents bought it from a old couple. Afterwards I learned how to drive a car with a manual transmission which was a 1985 Yugo. When I actually got my driver's license for my first car I could got the 1966 Chevy Impala 4 Door but I passed on that. Instead for my first car it was a 1971 Chevy Nova when I got it the car from my parents. The person next door was quite jelly over my 1971 Chevy Nova.

Nice Truck!!!!
