Well from my understanding the codes and encryption aren't done at the football persay. Basically you wouldn't be able to do what Alan Turing did you enigma mainly due to the use of a matrix of codes that change daily. Enigma basically used a pure math formula to encrypt but the American military uses a time formula. Basically it's ah not really feasible to use the football without any codes unlike an enigma machine witch gave massive benefits when understood and led to it being cracked. The football is just a transmission device that can connect to a large network. It can't even most likely connect without a proper daily changing code. Enigma and nuke codes used time based codes however because enigma is exclusively turning dials it means that it can be reverse engineered to figure out the answer through computation however because there's no underlying logic to a random numerical code it can't be cracked using logic computations. But it's still hilarious that trump gave Saudi nuke shit.
The reason I doubt all this is that Pakistan is in the pocket of Saudi Arabia, and the general consensus is that there is a secret agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to provide nuclear tipped missiles on request. I suppose, given the distributed nature of Saudi decision-making, perhaps it corresponds to rivalries within the Saudi leadership.
