    Yes Nvidia IPO'ed at $12, but saying the price has increased from $12 to $950 is a gross miscalculation that suggests the stock went only 79 times. The reality is stock got split multiple times and the effect IPO price due to these spilts is $0.41 thereby making the actual gain to be 2317 times from 1999 to now.

    Please allow me to ask one question! Is it wise to purchase NVIDIA in order to beat the market this year? I'm sick of having to make new purchases every week to round out my $236k portfolio with low-percentage assets while attempting to keep everything around 10%.

      Yes, but carry out independent study. For now, stay away from mutual funds, index funds, and certain stocks. A safer bet would be to look into fixed incomes of 5%. As an alternative, for added security, think about employing or collaborating with a skilled market strategist.

    Additional earnings reports from major tech companies, driven by Nvidia, coupled with trader FOMO, could fuel a resurgence in market buying pressure. I'm considering investing over $300k, but I'm uncertain about risk mitigation strategies.

    • @merrick6484
      @merrick6484 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      To manufacture Semi-conductor chips, even at basic levels, you need the following:
      1> An army of top notch electronic engineers, and they willing to work 12 hours shift and 24 hours standby when off their shifts.
      2> Unlimited and un-interrupted supply of Electricity.
      3> Unlimited and un-intetrupted supply of water.
      4> "Just in time system" for Materials and chemicals, machineries, foreign staffs and technicians, parts and flawless logistics. (despite earth quakes or tropical storms)
      5> Few hundred billions of USD.
      6> Iron cast determination, and super fine at details in Nano sphere.
      Conclusion: Only East Asians can do it, not even Americans can manage the stress and massive organisation.

    I had 300 shares of Nvidia in 2005 and sold it all like the dummy I am. Also, China's supposedly making a 7nm chip is still up for debate. Some experts claim China made them using older chips and a very expensive process. Some say China did make the chips but the way they made it is unsustainable. Meaning, they did it in a way that doesn't allow for smaller chips or speed. Others claim the chips are literally nonsense and it was proven with the new Huawei phone which is worse than the previous versions. That is based on Chinese experts btw, the fact that the new phone is very slow and not worth the price.
