Even Thailand and Vietnam like countries have spent millions to keep Buddhism alive. So are these countries not developing or developed? It is not like you have to forget your roots to become developed. You can be developed even by being connected to your roots. Look at Italy for example. But can they create innovation like the Americans? For that, they'll need a complex government-university-industry interface built on exploring ideas and challenges. Democracies are better suited for that (but the test bed may also be in the vicinity).

We literally having huge investments from foreign companies. So even if we spend less money, that is no problem. We recently got a 100 billion dollar investment by EFTA and it will be done in 15 years. We get new companies opening here regularly and we already have data centers and R&D of chip designing as well.

MBS is like our PM Modi, that best thing that has ever happened to a conservative country similar to Saudi Arabia. MBS is taking a huge risk of modernizing Saudi Arabia by antagonizing the Islamic elite that was nurtured for the last 100 years by Saudi Royal family.

Hey but Indian engineering colleges need to improve they teach everything that is outdated. I take coursera courses and coding ninjas to update my skills. The things that hurt me most is waste of 4 year in college. I had visited Abu Dhabi last year they are developing tourist destinations in Saadiyat Island and Yas island. They are focusing on attracting top financial talents to compete with Switzerland and they also want to be leading this race in technology.

All region need their version of AI, the worse is to misdiagnose your challenges and get another country system implemented in yours. imagine if you are sick then got misdiagnosed with a different illness that get treated, that will kill you for sure. That have been said and done, the challenge will be to see a EU or USA or Chinese and now Arabic AI installation to Africa, that would seem working in the short run but in the long run things will turn hazarders. On the same note one or all AI version aren't geographical and will attempt to colonies the planet making other AI REDUNDANT.
To that effect, this version of system must be design per locality expectation, miss this and you end up with redundant AI on your hands. More so when governments fund AI, their interest is key among the vision upfront where their system will focus on. Lets see if Arabic AI pioneers will figure this out.
It must be understood that we are onto an era of being colonized by an AI system or systems, how better to accomplish that by having wrong system, complexity of which subject cant understand or dream their off.
