Just to clear things up, Dungeons is certainly part of the vanilla story and their lore is "deeply connected" as they've said in an Ask Mojang all about Minecraft Dungeons. The Dungeons devs have confirmed their connections many times. This is most obvious with disc 5 in which you can hear endersent from Minecraft Dungeons multiple times throughout the audio as well as a sound from the boss of Echoing Void. In fact, because of this, we can deduce that the Orb of Dominance was present there. I don't think the Orb not being in the game means anything. According to Marc Watson, a producer for Dungeons in a Q&A in the Minecraft Dungeons Discord, "Minecraft isn't the starting line for the Minecraft franchise, things can come in from different directions. So we could make a... I dunno, Twilight Forest, in Dungeons, and it means that it exists in the Minecraft universe, even if Minecraft Java/Bedrock isn't generating that."
Great clarification (with evidence behind it) You can definitely trust what is true and not true with the facts given from the Devs themselves. Thanks! Also I’m happy to see you again in the comment WitherKing!
Isnt it the same way that every mod is in the lore though? in the minecraft official development book by Jens its stated that every minecraft spinoff or whatever isnt canon to minecraft itself, but rather that minecraft is a multiverse of worlds and each world is apart of its lore. So storymode is technically in the lore of minecraft, but its not in the same sense as the enderdragon
@@apancakewithabs632 That is not what it says. Basically, the spin-offs expand the lore (just as the book says they can do) that vanilla has. You can make your own story, but there IS a story Mojang themselves have. You can make your own story and lore for your worlds and that's valid. The official lore doesn't get in the way of that. That's how it is. That's why there's no named weapons in vanilla. Minecraft, the original game, is designed to be generic to fit many possibilities for the players. Yet, it still obviously connects to the spin-offs at the same time as the devs have said and with connections to Dungeons and Legends being present still. The spin-offs ARE canon to Minecraft lore, but maybe not necessarily your own story. The book also says that spin-offs can take place as isolated incidents in their own worlds which comes into play with things like Story Mode which doesn't connect to the other Minecraft spin-offs at ALL.
@@Fire_AxusIs this bait or something? When I check comments on this channel, it says that you have commented this multiple times, on comments that have the word “feel” in them regardless of the context. I don’t care if I’m giving you engagement if this is a bait, but it certainly seems like it. If not, feel free to prove me wrong.
Some things will always "feel modded" because they're new. Elytras themselves felt modded when they were added, and now they're an item everyone is familiar with and doesn't mind.
Hahaha! 😂 Yeah bro, I hope so. I wanna see the people who comment about 1.22 not being the end update say “Oh I knew it was gonna be the End update the whole time” 🤣
If they update the end, I think they should take inspiration from the depths of the ocean (where all the creepy and glowing creatures are). Maybe a biome that blends into the dark background with new mobs resembling Jellyfish and Angler fish. It would also be a great to make the Endermen’s eyes and glow squids actually glow. You know, like a light source?
That’s a really cool idea! But I feel like that would fit for the ancient city dimension since it’s located in the deep dark after all. And the sculk kind of resembles the glowy atmosphere you described
@@SamdotEXE no, just that the development that the game is taking forever bcuz the devs are obsessed with absolute perfection on day 1 of release. Most ppl have now either forgotten about it or don't believe it will ever come out. They keep pushing back the expected release year and is most likely won't even playable during 2025. The game just now feels like a dream we will never reach
If they do ever update the end I feel it should be more dangerous than the nether. Like yeah you have the void but more often than not you’re not going to be doing anything to actually fall down. I’m always hesitant to go to the nether because it’s a super challenging area, steep drops and strange generation. You have to constantly be aware of everything in the nether because one wrong step and you’re going to get hit hard. In the end, you just have to look down and you’re safe for 98% of the dimension. So I think the end should be challenging. They already showed they’re willing to do a whole high risk high reward thing for the trial chambers.
I agree with you bro. I literally just finished defeating the Dragon, and explored an end city in my most recent world, and it’s really not that dangerous. The fear of dying in the nether is so high early game, but the End doesn’t have that same feeling.
I like that the end is more peaceful, it should be a land that will only be dangerous if you provoke it, but if you leave everything alone you're good, just like the endermen
I imagine Mojang adding "The Exploration Update (fixed)" The exploration isn't the best and i want it to be better. If you didn't know, most players spend like 60% of their time in the biome with their base 25% in caves, and the rest is the other biomes. I want an update to make exploration worth it, if you know what i mean (MAKE THE ANCIENT CITY LOOT POOL BETTER MOJANG, AND WHY DO DESERT WELLS EXIST).
Bro, finding a use for desert wells would be GOATED. And I 100% agree with you my friend. I think that’s why Mojang invented the trims, and now the different dog breeds. To encourage players to explore more. But I do understand that they need to add more reasons to explore. Each biome really should have unique loot, or mobs that can only be found in those biomes. And thankfully they are beginning to do that more with dogs (as I said) but also the Bogged now in swamps. (And of course frogs in swamps and camels in deserts) But yes, some loot needs to be unique to a specific biome I think. Great Update Idea!!🔥
I think ancient city loot is good enough. Plus it had the silence armor trim. I’ve went through 8 ancient cities and have not found the trim…. I think exploration is perfectly fine tho as I actually spend most of my time exploring
nah I've heard this bad take about the ancient city like 2 or 3 times in the last 2 weeks and it still makes no sense. it's so easy to loot an ancient city, like all you need to do is bring in some food so you don't die from hunger, and they're not that hard to find because if you're looking for one you'll find it after one or two mountains, and I've literally found it twice on accident (in the early game btw). The end city loot is balanced pretty well, you find a good amount of golden apples, a good amount of diamonds, and you have a chance to find a cool trim or one of the best enchantments in the game.
I don't really get the main argument against the End Update. People obviously don't want it to be this colorful, bio diverse dimension. While this makes a lot of sense, the same logic applies to the Nether Update. The Nether was supposed to be this barren hellscape, but they made it full of life, so I don't see whats stopping Mojang from doing the same to the End.
Fair point. I think because they made living civilization in the nether (Bastions) they kind of had to make it more full of life. It just fit better. So if they did something similar to the End (key word similar. Because it would be dumb to have a civilization in the End just to copy the Nether) than making it full of life could work. It just needs a reason to have life
@@SamdotEXE I mean it's already got 4 different mobs, 2 common, especially the enderman. Also there's already chorus fruit as well already, no civilization needed.. I'm not saying a whole nether treatment but a couple new interesting biomes and mobs wouldn't be the end of the world.
The main island should stay the same, but make the outside islands more lively to explore. I cannot stand outer End exploration it’s so fuckin dull man
i think the end should have some life, but i think it should be very apparant that you dont belong there, it should feel alien and unwelcoming and like you are out of place
I feel like there are a lot of things we need before an end update: 1. Biome Vote Backlog - Desert, Savanna, Badlands. It would be cool to see an update with all 3 of these and some extra features eg. armor trims or a new structure. 2. Structures 2.0 - Structures like the desert temple, jungle temple, woodland mansion and ancient city (tho I think that last one deserves an update of its own) need some new features to make for a better reason to explore them, ie. trial spawners, bad omen variants for various structures, new rare loot, etc. 3. Forest Update - This is what they promised in 2021 as part of 1.19: better birch forests, fireflies, and hollow logs. Additionally, I'd like to see ambient sounds and squirrels or brown bears as part of this update. And after these 3 (plus some bonus stuff, like completely new biomes or mob vote mobs, old and new) are added, we should be ready for an end update/new dimension.
I think that a end update is just something that is so hard to tackle since the point of the end is to feel empty and alien, but also be great by a gameplay standpoint. Although i have a feeling the end update would be something Mojang would have been working on a for a while so they likely would have a idea figured out by now (if 1.22 is a end update)
Yeah that’s true. I mean think about the last few smaller updates bro. It only makes sense that the last few updates had smaller feature amounts than usual, because they have been doing behind the scenes work in the End Update (and like you said, assuming the End will update in 1.22)
Yeah, I don't think the point of the end is to feel empty. The original point of the end was.. the ender dragon fight. Nether was empty and boring as well, doesn't change the fact that it's better now.
@@BCGames_yt That's just an excuse. They could've said that about anything and everything. The point of the nether is to feel like hell, just empty land full of lava and monsters. The caves are supposed to be boring, not full of different biomes and terrain generation. There will never be better armor, tools and weapons than diamond since diamond is an endgame item. Minecraft is an ever changing game, the question is not "if", it's "when". They'll update the whole overworld eventually (well with this pace, not for another 20 years) but then what? The end will be updated and we will get new dimension(s). I don't understand what's stopping them from doing another big update like the nether? We got a new dungeon in this one, and other stuff which is cool, but nether update gave us a new dungeon, ore AND updated the whole freaking nether. Couldn't they have at least updated some basic biomes? What about spawner rooms? They have a year or so to make these updates, while the latest one is cool, they can do much better than that.
@@SisyphusSRB it is though. they have said it, and been on the record of it many times. the point of it is a barren wasteland with no life, and just eerie to visit as there is nothing. just empty and kinda creepy sometimes. and unlike everything else, they have talked about it like that for a loooong time, since 1.9 in fact. so it's not just a copout, it's how they meant for it to exist since the conception of 1.9. if the purpose is to be empty, but they still need more gameplay added, it can be tricky. also side note: most people never go to the end. the VAST majority don't, in fact. so us in the vocal minority may have some waiting to do, as they won't prioritize the few people mad about it over the massive amount of people who don't care about it. and another thing is that they have also said that the nether update was cool, but the whole team was very overworked year-round for it. they could add so much only because they were working double time the whole time.
yeah but it’s the place you reach in the end game you really expect someone to be like “yay I’m in the end game” and then just see some boring old wasteland? Then they’d be like “yup, I’m going back to the nether.”
I like the idea of adding a small end update within an overworld update. Perhaps we could see a "Forest Update" that updates the birch forests like we saw in the wild update concept art, adds a new bear to oak forests, etc but also adds a Chorus Forest biome to the end!
Bro that’s such a small End update idea, but I love it! Maybe one more new plant could be found in these chorus forests! (And I would be so happy to see bears and updated birch forests)
SHEEEESH! Bro, more elytra enchantments would go hard! Maybe an enchantment that makes the elytra glide faster, or an elytra called “hover enchantment” that makes you glide in the direction you are facing without being effected by gravity
@kylezdancewicz7346 I see why you say that, but think about it. The Elytra is literally an end game item. Why not make it OP? It’s not like you use it to attack or defend yourself anyway. If anything it’s just making travel better
@@SamdotEXE Well the problem is it’s so op and ever other transit mode sucks especially in comparison so a lot of times it becomes, get an elytra, then you can actually play the game saying many structures and biomes are commonly thousands if not more blocks away. Also elytra’s aren’t that well optimized, for example the elytra travels faster than chuck loading so most the time you don’t get the impression of flying over the world but flying through unloaded chunks and hoping a mountain doesn’t spawn. Also the idea of just make end game items as op as possible isn’t very good. If that’s was the case might as well add an endgame item that gives you creative mode.
Believe it or not there have been other potential hints towards an end update that other people like me have discovered. First off, I remember that someone mentioned that in disc 5 from the wild update, you can actually hear a sound from an endersent mob from Minecraft Dungeons. Now, unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure if this is genuinely true, but it's interesting. NOW HERE'S THE BIG ONE that while subtle, is a massive red flag when you consider the lore implications. You see, in the trial chambers, you CAN ACTUALLY FIND ENDER PEARLS IN THE BARRELS FOR SOME REASON. This is a massive red flag because the ancient builders are more than likely the ones who built the trial chambers potentially pretty early on in the timeline if the ocean-tribe-like trial chamber generation is anything to go by. Now, here's the kicker, endermen DIDN'T EXIST AT THIS TIME, so why on earth are Ender Pearls in the trial chambers, and how did they get them?! Personally, I believe that the ender pearls could be from a mob coming in the end update, like an endersent. After all, there has to be a reason as to why ender pearls are there in the first place.
I actually have a few interesting ideas that would incentivize end exploration: 1. New wood type - This wood type, unlike all other wood types, isn't actually wood. It's petrified, glowing yellow stone that has taken the shape of wood that was once there, in rare "forests" throughout the outer end. It would need to be mined with a pickaxe and its "planks" wouldn't be craftable into a crafting table and other wooden toolsheds. Perhaps they could be used to make new, interesting tools and blocks that cannot be made with normal wood types or nether wood types. 2. More verticality (obviously) 3. New structures - Of course nothing too crazy but maybe an end house, a temple of some sort, anything to make the end look like it had more life at some point than just cities. Who knows, maybe these structures could have their own unique mob like the shulker!
3:11 I can see people wanting to build things in the end since it's pretty close to a blank slate, but I still see your point with people not wanting to build their base there. I have still built bases in strongholds for quick end access though.
to be fair, they DID release the Eye and Spire armor trims found in strongholds and end cities for 1.20, so they might be aware of the end’s situation and of how it’s currently outdated as to recent dates, only to temporarily not make a change for reasons we don’t know. Yet to be confirmed though.
I think that if the End ever gets updated, the update won't be dedicated to the End because the majority of the survival players don't actualy go to there to fight the dragon. So dedicating an entire update to a place the majority of the players don't even go to would just be a waste. So if the end ever gets update it will probably be a bit small and not the focus of the update.
the mushroom biome is Hella rare. players may have a better change finding a woodland mansion then that grey island. So, what would be the point of updating it if it will be too hard to find. sure, the update could increase the spawn chance and make the items better but if it's not as rare then the rewards feel unearned.
Well I’m not sure what kind of loot you could find there, but if Mojang was smart, it could be worth trying to find one. Or heck if you come across one, you’d want to search/loot the place instead of “oh hey a Mushroom island “ and move on. But I 100% understand your point
It is most certainly not easier to find a mansion than a mushroom island. At the very least, you just gotta stick to oceans there, and oceans are super huge, and easier to find than dark forests, and the islands are also bigger than mansions. Yes, it’s easier to get to a mansion by design, cus they have a map for it, but just searching randomly, your absolutely more likely to find a mushroom island.
02:58 as somebody who builds their base in the end, I have a bit of facts why I do: 1. My favorite color is purple as you could probably see from my pfp and the overworld kind of lacks that... 2. I get hunted down for several warcrimes in most smp's I join so I go to the dimension where first off nobody wants to go to and that is the place where nobody expects someone to be. 3. although it is very empty it is about the same as the overworld, not like the terrain but like for example you can place water which you CANT in the nether making it possible for farms to be created. and you can easily go back to the overworld with end gateways. So as someone who kind off just destroys the dragon egg and destroys the entire world with withers when the server is in its happy peaceful time, I gotta just hide in the end.
Im more happy because mojang said they wanted to add another realm after adding to the nether and end, meaning a new dimension should be on the horizon
Hello. Mojang dev here. Today we’re going to be adding a new update. The trap where you fall into a pit and fight a stupid guy update . We’re adding a random pit that spawns and you fall into it. Where you need to fight our new mini boss. Zombie with big arms. He took our dev team 100 sleepless nights making him
While Bedrock for Consoles stays with paid mediocre addons and Bedrock for Mobile has mid-good addons for free and some of them with cost, Java keeps getting hundreds of really well made mods for free. Even with that massive advantage... Java keeps asking for more like if they were the ones with less content while switch players can barely play the base game at 20fps. Java: I nEEd nEW ConTeNT! it'S nOt ENouGh! Mobile: I think this is enough content but I would really like to ask for more Xbox/Switch: you guys have more content :0? wooow no way!
It's a fair reason to complain about the Java community. But understand that not everyone in the Java community wants mods. They want vanilla content as well, and that's something we are on the same side on. I myself play plenty of vanilla with no mods and wish there was more content. And in reality, it's Mojang you should be angry at, not Java. We have done nothing but use what Mojang gave us. And if Mojang has favoritism on Java, then they are to blame
For me, I’m just thinking about how the current end is being used in comparison to the other dimensions. The overworld is your sandbox and the nether is used for long distance travel, which makes the end a challenge of how far can you go to find loot and make it back. The point of the outer end islands is to make tasks in the overworld and nether easier with the only real threat being the distance between you and the exit. And even if they add some new plant blocks, I like to think that they will only grow in the end. You could bring them to the overworld but they will just wither away because they belong to the end.
Except the fact that exit end gateways spawn in the outer end islands, so even if you travel 5M+ blocks you'll only ever be at most 1K blocks away from one
@@SamdotEXE maybe, a biome idea I thought of was one where you can’t tell what trees are trees or an animal that is tree-shaped. The tree mimics cannot hurt you but if you hurt it, it will try and run away.
@@SamdotEXE okay, maybe I didn’t think the idea through but the idea of a tree mimic mob in the end sounds like a good idea. It technically makes the end full of life, you just don’t know what counts as life there.
"Complete parity" between Java and Bedrock is not only a bad idea, but also a farce because it is impossible(the redstone systems will never be changed to be matching, we already know that).
I expect an end update to come in 1.26 or something close to that. I also think that mojang will focus on the biome vote backlog, birch forests and building blocks for the 1.22-1.25 updates.
If we got updates on the other biome votes within the next few years I’d be happy. I know they said they wouldn’t add all those lost mobs from the votes, but it would be nice if they decided to put at least a few of them in Minecraft
Java players have access to mods to enhance their end dimension, but bedrock players have to spend money to enhance their end dimension. If mojang added an end dimension bedrock players would no longer have to pay to play the end update and so mojang would make less money. Same thing for Aether, Deep Dark, etc.
Think after the vengeful heart was destroyed the end turned into a wasteland, if they’re gona update the end they should only revamp the Dragon fight to keep the lore from getting too confusing
The Ender Dragon is actually nowhere to be seen in Dungeons. In fact, the exit portal is lit and a statue of a hero a dead dragon can be found in one of the levels. When asked about it on Twitter, Marc Watson, a producer, said, "And that sure looks like a dragon to me, and we’ve only ever seen one. :)" This feels very telling, I believe. I think we CAN have content in the End besides the Ender Dragon fight.
@@WitherKing001when did I say the dragon was in dungeons? I said They shouldn’t focus on the end itself but the boss fight Since if they updated the Dimensions atmosphere then it wouldn’t make sense, the end is supposed to be a wasteland from a ancient battle (The VHOE)
I kind of understand why you would say this. But the biggest problem with the End is not the Dragon fight. That itself I think is fine. Maybe minor tweaks or new attacks and that is all we need. But the End is almost never explored once you find an Elytra. And that's my belief on why we need an End overhaul of some sort. To give the End more exploratory value.
@@MimickingEntertainment We have no reason to believe this, is what I'm saying. I would not suggest keeping the End as is for that reason. The problem with the End is that it isn't worth exploring. An End update, like a Nether update, is supposed to make exploring worth it. It's supposed to be interesting.
These are the only real arguments to an end update: The end is supposed to be empty, its literally the void You shouldn't go to the end because there is no real end to Minecraft The elytra should only be something for completionists. The first one is just dumb but the last two kind of makes sense, but that is just saying that the end is a mistake, and its not right just to have something in the game that they won't update because they regret adding it in the first place and they can't remove it. Random idea, what if they made the elytra only work in the end, and give it more durability and defense, it fixes the op transportation issue with the game, but it would still be useful if the end had more content, like if you were intended to travel the end by flight. Oh and also give me one reason the trial chambers shouldn't replace the strongholds
@@SamdotEXE no, I mean... why don't they simply change the way island generate ? like... theyre not even in a different height ! if they did that, and add some endstone mountains or endstone Crag Feild, even without adding new mobs and modded blocks it could be a good update
@Underdrax ahhhh, I see. That’s a good idea! The world generation is so basic in the End, and that’s the problem. I like your idea of simply making variant generations of the End (don’t even need to add biomes really)
Nah I'd say 1.22 will be an end update. I mean many things point to the end update. Also remember that GTA VI is coming out next year wouldn't Mojang want to keep the game on top an end update would neutralize GTA VI keeping Minecraft on top and probably GTA VI in second place
I really don't think Mojang is going to care about GTA VI. It is a completely separate style of game and all of the younger minecraft players wouldn't play it. Plus, one of the most anticipated games of all times versus a wanted update to minecraft is kinda an unfair battle.
@@netherwarrior6113 I get that but don't you think Mojang would want to stay on top after all these years I mean the end update would bring new players and even players that stopped playing I say there is going to be an end update. Only because of GTA VI

Being a TH-camr means creating your own piece of art in a video. This includes the editing process
I dont think anybody will ever read this, but i atleast like, there is somebody that shares my opinion. I obviously want an end update, which will not be sized like the better end mod(i played that for a week so it could work as a comparison). I want maybe calcite patches with new calcite blocks(notice how the amethyst geode contains basalt and calcite, nether and the and (another piece of lore)) maybe small dead trees, maybe a new ore(definitely not enderite guys and if yes make it something that maybe upgrades minecarts, shields, shears, etc.) and a reworked biome system which ensures you can tell the end biomes apart from each other. I know the chances are small, but come on mojang, i think you noticed how 1.16 changed the community and after 1.20 and 1.21, it started dying once again, so honestly, it would be a perfect fit to make minecraft "hot and fresh'
This man spitting facts Also the end dlc of Minecraft dungeons might be too chaotic when it comes to blocks used in the area, since Minecraft dungeons is not an open world game. Let’s take flames of the nether, in this case we already had the nether update before this dlc came out, we can see that the biomes are in this dlc, but look a little different having tons of other block variants and other plants plus other unnecessary mob variants (except for the bomb thrower) so the end dlc could add stuff like an overhaul to the stronghold, a new way to locate the stronghold, endersent hideouts where endersents spawn with an endereye attached to them, new biomes, new structures, the enderlings but not the heart of ender. Also what if instead of spawning in the mid island, why not spawn in the outer ends and that you have to open the gateways in some special way to get to the center island, just like in Minecraft dungeons
Thanks for the compliment! And dang bro, I love your ideas! I do see why copy and pasting the End DLC blocks and mobs could look weird in Vanilla. I like how you spoke of a stronghold overhaul. Especially since the stronghold is the main reason we have the End. Without it, we have no End. And so it would be cool to have more loot to find, and maybe new mobs to fight in the stronghold. (Maybe a new guard type mob of sorts?) or even simply some traps would be nice (other than silverfish spawners)
Here's my theory - They first updated the nether, and it was completely updated. But now they are updating the overworld with several updates we got. We might get the end update after the overworld is completely updated just like the nether. Lets just wait and see what mojang have in their minds
It’s certainly possible! It just kind of sucks though because the overworld really can be updated nearly an infinite amount of times. Especially if they add more biomes from real life, or more varieties of the biomes in game. Or adding more animals from real life in Minecraft. So it really might be a WHILE before the End update exists
My Suggestion 1)Give use to Amethyst - Maybe beacon range extender , making beacon beam dim by tinted glass , conduit range 2)Give use to Copper - Copper rails , Maybe some kind of redstone charge transport . 3)Farming Update - New crops , Dynamic weather , Giving foods some kind of special utility (players only use porkchop) 4)Any one of the leftover biome Update 5)Nerfing the iron golem to 5-10 iron nuggets - Iron farms are way to overpowered , infinite iron means infinite emralds 6)Nerfing Raid farms - infinite totems 7)Making minecarts faster - obvious 8)newer combat in both versions (parity) - mobile devices are holding back bedrock 9)mobs from previous mob votes 10)Villager transport & villager trade rebalance 11)Making bundles more obtainable in the gameplay
@@quangchi1 by redstone charge transfer i mean - we need to set up repeaters for transfering redstone signals for long distances . I agree , Mojang should make it this way that players use minecarts
@@quangchi1 bro its just a suggestion chill man . I am not here to think about how we can implement it in the game i am just giving an idea . The thinking part is for the developers
@@karko9292 every suggestion should have a reasonable debate and I think that's a good thing for critical thinking, but you just gave up and switched topics. I mean copper could have uses related to redstone but in an indirect way, like wires/protection so that red stone can go under water and vertically, the redstone line can go independently and not mess up with other signals.
The best way they could update the end is to make it liveable, the nether, though difficult, has ways to survive, has food, wood, stone, it's just harder, so what if we do the same thing to the end, update it to make it survivable, introduce new mobs and wood types, maybe a new ore, and armor upgrade but give it a use outside of upgrading it
@@AnthonyStuart-n9l I like the idea. Even though some people would disagree, I think this is a great idea. It’ll introduce “End Dimension Survival” challenges, as well make the common player interested in see what’s available in the End. It also gives player a reason to build a new base. Having a main base in each dimension I think is unique and useful
Since Mojang won't just add bioms. What about making a cool cave systeme? Something like in overworld . Maybe with dungeons and something like lush caves?
Personally I think a mob update should be the next update, As I think they should make a mob focused update adding stuff like: new variants for old mobs like pigs, cows, sheep and chicken, making mobs eyes actually move around and you know work, (theirs even a mod for that) add old mob voted mobs like the copper golem, rascal, crab, ice illager coming back and more!!
I still have a fishy feeling that the end update will come sooner then later it might come in between 1.22 to 1.30! It’s ether gonna be the end update, combate update 2.0 or even a farming update like as in added new types of seeds, crops foods, ovens, etc!
@@joshuathomasbigelow2749 I doubt ovens will be added, but I suppose it could be possible?? Maybe like a brick oven to give use to brick (because I don’t see a modern oven in Minecraft 💀) I like the idea of a farm update because it really needs more love. Cooking in general would just be so cool
The End was fine as it was before 1.19, and its alright in its current state. The entire point of the End Dimension was just to be a boss battle arena, and the outer end islands are more of post game bonus content with loot in the End Cities than an actual area to spend time in. While I do feel that the outer End islands and ancient cities could be improved, the End dimension as a whole is an area extraordinarily few players even reach, requiring you to explore the nether extensively and fight blazes and endermen to be immediately met with a final boss fight that many players struggle with. Not every dimension has to be a world intended for players to spend the whole game in, and in its current state the End does a good job with its intended role in the game
@@isthissparta1485 you have a fair point in saying “not every dimension has to be a world intended for players to spend the whole game in.” I get that. But even the Nether is not where players spend most of their time in. And yet when you do spend time in it, there’s plenty to do. The End is really just End game (hence the name of the dimension) and so I don’t see anything wrong with adding more to do for players who reach the end of the game. (Just my thought)
An End Update is definetely inevitable but its just a matter of when, as you said there recent focus has been adding features that can be found across your entire world and then maybe fixing up or adding 1 new biome. As much as this is necessary if they continue that cycle we would have a long ways to go before getting an end update so my best guess is they'll either fit it in one random year or maybe even save it for the 20th anniversary as by then most of the overworld would probably be good.
For real bro. Thank you for really paying attention to the info I gave. (I know that in previous videos I made, there were some people making comments that clearly meant they didn’t even watch my video properly😅) I too believe it could be a while for an End Update. Or like I also said, I think it could be cool if they snuck a few features in the End in a random update for giggles.
@@TechbotHimself that fair bro. But I hate the word “copium” that people give us, (or we’re just coping in the mean time because we’re “too impatient“) when we are simply just excited and creative on when and how the End update will be made 😅
I have a theory about this, I feel that they want to do an end update but first want to perfect the combat, so that they can redo the combat update in a way, on top of this after the end is updated there will be little to no non updated features which means that they would need a new dimension, but what will it be? Why would the player want to go there? What would be the difficulty of this dimension? These are some of the many questions they'll need to answer, they then on top of that need to make it feel like Minecraft while making it different. Listen I am surely not on the devs side but I find the uproar from the community is unwarranted.
That's fair. I definitely think the End needs to be a higher difficulty than the Nether. But it should be high risk, high reward. There should be some crazy End game loot available to find or craft
@@SamdotEXE 100% and when they do update the end I hope they add a structure maybe harder or just as hard as the ancient city where you'll find the elytra instead of the end ships or make the end ships way harder or way harder to find

@@SamdotEXE TBH I think we need a sort of connection between the phantoms and the end cuz phantom membrane repairs elytras and it's not like that resource is related to the end.
I hope we get a Biome Update for all the warm biomes (Savanna, Desert, Badlands). I think Mojang will Update the End in the 15 Year Anniversary 2026 with the 1.23 Update. Also the warm biomes need the update a bit more, since they are the most uninteresting by far....since so many years now.
the end dimension being colourful with tons of mobs seems too much as much as i would like the outer end islands to have new mobs and maybe a new structure but we cannot change a main end island its just so iconic and changing the main island would feel very weird.
Brother, let me just tell you I miss that game so much. That’s why I’ve actually been playing MC Story mode songs throughout my videos. A nice reminder of the good ol’ days 😁
I mentioned once that I theorize that The End is the very edge of the Universe in Minecraft and the dragon serves as the Gatekeeper to that universe. Someone then said that makes the End sound similar to Xen, so with that in mind what if Mojang does exactly that? Make The End seem more like the edge of the Universe where you can see into another universe but still out of reach? Where you can start to see life unlike anything the Nether or Earth has to offer? Life that doesn't obey the same laws of physics that the Nether and Earth do.
I think they should just focus on stuff that the player encounters almost all the time, the caves and the nether are good examples, either the end or the rest of the biomes could do well
I'm pretty sure 1.22 is going to be the end update for the simple reason that it's about time they updated it. Mojang has started to listen to the community with the wolf variants so we have a 50/50 chance of getting an end update.
The orb of dominance is implied to be what makes up a command block i believe so yes it is in minecraft not only that but a theoretical update for the end should feel some what modded, similar to the nether update
@SamdotEXE np, would also like to mention that the orb is in legends, which I think takes place before the main game and dungeons might be after? Don't quote of dungeons bit, but yeah
I feel like if an end update would have been planned, it would have been released already, i think they are keeping the update in case the game is dying so that they can make something big and bring back the community, kinda like what happen with the nether update when the game was dying and the nether update brought back most of the players + the speedrunners
@@SamdotEXE they were the games I played when I was like 4 lol mc story mode being my first game then I went on to play minecraft also being my favorite games but unfortunately Ivor's voice actor died to cancer
yeah bro, it's sad what happened to Ivor's actor. He was such a great actor as well! I played story mode when I was around 15 years old. I'll never forget those two games : )
Also, I feel like Minecraft's recent videos about the end are more so evidence against a 1.22 end update because why would they post stuff about the end if it were soon to be outdated?
Ngl bro if we get an end update SURELY we get a new elytra enchant. Also the end has been completely abandoned for 8 years or so now since it was last updated in 2016 😢 All these other places seem very fleshed out now and it’s about time they finally give some love to the end, even if it’s supposed to be barren who knows if that’s how they still want to portray the end years later from its release? But still elytra new enchant when 😩🥺
@@Zerty-LGCY yeah bro, it’s been WAY too long since a solid End Update. Something with loads of features. I still think they will make the End fairly barren, but you are right! It’s possible they may change that idea completely! (Also elytra enchantments would be the GOAT)
Agreed. While waiting. Do you ever plan on making a tier list video about video s that criticize minecraft? Which ones give constructive criticism and others that give dumb points?
This is a fire idea!! I love it! A lot of research needs to be put into that (aka watching the videos through) but I know I could very well do something like that. I’ll write that down in my ideas list, thank you!✌🏼
Most of them are dumb. They simply ignore the development process and call the devs lazy while utterly ignoring the realities of working on a 10+ year old code base. Any video framed like that is doomed to be moronic
I'm going to tell you when the End Update will happen : 1.23-24 How so? Because when we take time to look at how Mojang react to the communities, it tookes 2-3 years for updates. The community wanted a cave update already in 2019 (that's why you can hear some booing in the Minecon when the Nether Update was announced) and got it in 2021. We're already saying how much we want the update this year, so we're going to get the update in two year at least!! We just had to show how much we would want that, instead of "protesting" against mob vote. They showed that they can hear us.
For now i think mojang would focus on making the game better than adding more content. Just take bundle as an example they are not adding it and getting to work with the qaulity. I suppose the next update should be inventry or some sort of xp update. The experience points system and enchanting is a bit broken and like not so well thought so ill be keen to get a overhaul of both of these systems
@@Ashplays1012 the inventory is a little dated by now, but that’s why we have bundles and shulker boxes. We don’t really need an update for that in my opinion. I do like the idea of an update for XP though. Not sure how that would work though…. I know for a fact the “xp update” would not be a standalone update
@@SamdotEXE sure enough they could incorporate xp update with the end update like they can do something like make enchantments which are accessible late game through something in the end I suppose like enhanced anvils to do enchantments like mending and the max levels like pro 4 and sharp 5, plus the new enchants and with this they can fix the xp aspects where broken.

Tbh I do like the End being devoided of life and to an extent I want it to sorta be like that maybe with some more structures and dungeons but that’s about it, Better End is cool but imo is a little too much and defeats the purpose of the end being basically a large empty void
@@SamdotEXE exactly if anything maybe add dungeons with bosses and cool rewards add life to it just makes it feel like the nether but with a void instead save those resources for the Deep Dark dimension or something which is another thing that I’m unsure if I even want to see in Minecraft tbh
@@Brendanowl haha, yeaaahhhh. But I think that’s the point of Mojangs little game of adding teasers here and there. Perhaps to indicate that they are in fact working on the End Update. It’s just a matter of when will it release
Tbh I think the combat update is the closest thing to the end update we’re getting. Id love to see more, but I think maybe mojang wants to preserve the idea of it being a lifeless void rather than adding new biomes or whatever
@@orange_turtle3412 that’s a fair point. I’m so happy with the trial chambers since it gives you more combat challenges. (I don’t understand why there are so many haters on the latest update though!) if we got just a few more structures maybe in the End (along with some new blocks and/or mobs), that would satisfy me
To be honest I hope minecraft goes through a cave fix update. By counting a cave as a biome and having certain types of caves spawn below certain types of biomes like an underground snow and ik it sounds terraria like but considering what minecraft is it would fit. BUt for now minecrafts caves are just counted as the biome above it i want it like this so I can make mobs that exclusively spawn in caves only.
I like the idea (and it does sound like terraria 😂) but I think they would do something like that as a smaller update, like a patch. Or perhaps they will do that for some other “biome update” and through caves in the mix. I say this because we literally just had a cave update, and I don’t see Mojang going back to “fix” it soon. (Course we got the trial chambers, so I could be wrong)
Given that most players never reach the End, I think that an End update would most likely be paired with some other feature, like the Deep Dark being paired with mangrove swamps or the original 1.9. End features being paired with the new combat system

I imagine Mojang adding "The Exploration Update (fixed)"
The exploration isn't the best and i want it to be better.
Great Update Idea!!🔥
bro just copied and pasted jetstarfish's video
also that video had some bad points in it
Also why is a five year old on TH-cam?

/Jk

I feel we need "your end" update
@@SisyphusSRB dude Mojang themselves said that.
@@BCGames_yt That's just an excuse. They could've said that about anything and everything.

@@SamdotEXEHow can you we make the elytra even more broken
@@kylezdancewicz7346 I definitely think Mojang needs to make an optimization update of some sort to help with load times with chunks, and with fps
I actually have a few interesting ideas that would incentivize end exploration:
2. More verticality (obviously)
3. New structures - Of course nothing too crazy but maybe an end house, a temple of some sort, anything to make the end look like it had more life at some point than just cities. Who knows, maybe these structures could have their own unique mob like the shulker!
Mojang: we need to update the biomes in the overworld!
Also mojang: **adds more biomes to update later**
3:11 I can see people wanting to build things in the end since it's pretty close to a blank slate, but I still see your point with people not wanting to build their base there. I have still built bases in strongholds for quick end access though.
@@pineapplewhatever5906 stronghold bases makes sense
to be fair, they DID release the Eye and Spire armor trims found in strongholds and end cities for 1.20, so they might be aware of the end’s situation and of how it’s currently outdated as to recent dates, only to temporarily not make a change for reasons we don’t know. Yet to be confirmed though.
Ohh good thing to notice! I do like those armor trims too, they look cool! You never know, only time will tell
Yes, it’s easier to get to a mansion by design, cus they have a map for it, but just searching randomly, your absolutely more likely to find a mushroom island.
floating island idea could be cool
It just is barren. I think a small atmosphere change would be beneficial as a part of a larger update revolving around something else related.

@@SamdotEXE Yeah I'd rather this be called the second or third end update, instead of just "the" end update, since we have 1.9 and 1.11.
That's hilarious bro
Im more happy because mojang said they wanted to add another realm after adding to the nether and end, meaning a new dimension should be on the horizon

While Bedrock for Consoles stays with paid mediocre addons and Bedrock for Mobile has mid-good addons for free and some of them with cost, Java keeps getting hundreds of really well made mods for free.
I love this idea of “End Dimension thriving” plants. This could even be extended to some new ender mobs? Maybe?
@@SamdotEXE maybe, a biome idea I thought of was one where you can’t tell what trees are trees or an animal that is tree-shaped. The tree mimics cannot hurt you but if you hurt it, it will try and run away.
@andrewsawsomeideasandanima6222 that’s silly bro 😂 Maybe they are saplings instead

I said They shouldn’t focus on the end itself but the boss fight
Since if they updated the Dimensions atmosphere then it wouldn’t make sense, the end is supposed to be a wasteland from a ancient battle (The VHOE)
These are the only real arguments to an end update:
The end is supposed to be empty, its literally the void
You shouldn't go to the end because there is no real end to Minecraft
The elytra should only be something for completionists.
Yeah it would be pretty dumb for a whole dimension to be seen as pointless to be in the game. Everything should have a point in Minecraft

@@netherwarrior6113 I get that but don't you think Mojang would want to stay on top after all these years

This man spitting facts
Also the end dlc of Minecraft dungeons might be too chaotic when it comes to blocks used in the area, since Minecraft dungeons is not an open world game.
@@SamdotEXE making it rarer and bigger with several floors would be cool, like even some sunken areas at the lowest floor perhaps
Then tr the endyhd d da d
Then after the end deep dark dimension????
My Suggestion
1)Give use to Amethyst - Maybe beacon range extender , making beacon beam dim by tinted glass , conduit range
2)Give use to Copper - Copper rails , Maybe some kind of redstone charge transport .
3)Farming Update - New crops , Dynamic weather , Giving foods some kind of special utility (players only use porkchop)
4)Any one of the leftover biome Update
5)Nerfing the iron golem to 5-10 iron nuggets - Iron farms are way to overpowered , infinite iron means infinite emralds
6)Nerfing Raid farms - infinite totems
7)Making minecarts faster - obvious
8)newer combat in both versions (parity) - mobile devices are holding back bedrock
9)mobs from previous mob votes
10)Villager transport & villager trade rebalance
11)Making bundles more obtainable in the gameplay
2)What do you mean by "redstone charge transport"? Plus people doesn't use rail transportation anyways

Having a main base in each dimension I think is unique and useful

When will version 1.22.0 release
Next year around this same time (summer) But they will announce the update this year in October

How so? Because when we take time to look at how Mojang react to the communities, it tookes 2-3 years for updates. The community wanted a cave update already in 2019 (that's why you can hear some booing in the Minecon when the Nether Update was announced) and got it in 2021.
We're already saying how much we want the update this year, so we're going to get the update in two year at least!! We just had to show how much we would want that, instead of "protesting" against mob vote. They showed that they can hear us.
That's fair reasoning. I don't disagree with you on this. I'm positive the End Update will happen, it's just a matter of time!

At this point of time, he actually guessed it
Haha! Appreciate your comment!
I want something like terraria where the updates add a lot of small features that make the playthrough feel new throughout. WE NEED A NEW BOSS MOJANG ITS BEEN 10 YEARS
@@SheaN1026 bro so true. It’s one of the reasons terraria is *still* earning money from new player purchases. And yes, a new boss is definitely overdue by now
Tbh I do like the End being devoided of life and to an extent I want it to sorta be like that maybe with some more structures and dungeons but that’s about it, Better End is cool but imo is a little too much and defeats the purpose of the end being basically a large empty void
Yeah I agree. I never understood the mods that make the End colorful, and exciting. It should be borderline boring and empty
@@SamdotEXE exactly if anything maybe add dungeons with bosses and cool rewards add life to it just makes it feel like the nether but with a void instead save those resources for the Deep Dark dimension or something which is another thing that I’m unsure if I even want to see in Minecraft tbh
Its funny to me that the past three updates have been theorized to be end updates.
@@Brendanowl haha, yeaaahhhh. But I think that’s the point of Mojangs little game of adding teasers here and there. Perhaps to indicate that they are in fact working on the End Update. It’s just a matter of when will it release
i REALY want an end update but it feels like copium right now because ive been thinking for two years that 1.20 and 1.21 would be an end update
silksong fans, gta 6 fans, end update fans and hytale fans fighting over who is the largest copium consumer:
@@borb43 lol that’s actually really funny 😂
I BUILT THE END UPDATE THAT LOOKS LIKE FROM THE CUBUS MAXIMUS VIDEO OF WARDEN VS ENDER DRAGON
All I want is Mojang to improve oceans
@@BoxedSamurai bro more sea life would be amazing! (Or deeper oceans with larger creatures too!)
@@SamdotEXE And they could even use the update as an excuse to add the sea monster from the mob vote
@BoxedSamurai oh so true! I think that mob (mob A?) would have made the oceans more interesting and difficult to explore!
@@SamdotEXE Yeah it would make my mcreator experience a lot easier
Well, I bet that we would have the End Update before the release of Silksong or The Elder Scrolls 6
haha, maybe
Given that most players never reach the End, I think that an End update would most likely be paired with some other feature, like the Deep Dark being paired with mangrove swamps or the original 1.9. End features being paired with the new combat system
@@Daft_Vader fair point
3:13 my man, have you heard of this place called 2b2t?
@@A.Nickles-iw9eo I haven’t, go ahead and tell me more
Bro said items blocks and mobs are the most valuable things in the game when that’s literally everything
@@Leo2b-mw1gi lol
I imagine the 1.22 update would be a galactic update
What would that consist of in your eyes? What would be added in the update?
