for all haters: Before you talk about a man, about his life, about his character, put on his shoes, go the way he went, fall where he fell, and get up the way he gets up and then we'll see you talking!

    i read this somewhere
"BTS is like a book, the reason haters hate them is because they skip the most important parts while ARMY reads the whole page."
    or something like that.
    and another was like
"Haters hate them because they only see their success, but ARMY know their struggles."
and my eyes are sweaty again.

BTS NEVER filed a lawsuit against BIGHIT. The journalist (who broke in into their office) twisted and made a false claim that BTS did that. The journalist aimed to create a bad image of BTS as if they were in conflict with their own company. You might have been misunderstood but please rewatch that part.

@@cola5473 I feel so sad that this case has involved BTS families. I really don't want such lame media intrigues dragged and interupped the privacy of BTS families. It is really crossing the line.

    • @ARMYnotArmy
      @ARMYnotArmy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@cola5473 I'm a bit late to this, but to correct you- This wasn't during that time. BTS resigned at the end of 2018, this event happened mid-late 2019. What happened was that a reporter from JTBC got a tip that family members of BTS were seen going into a lawyers office. It wasn't even BTS initially it was a members family going to a lawyer. They snooped around and found that the family had gone to a lawyer but of course the reporter didn't know what for.
JTBC's reporter then broke into the BigHit building at that time to try and get more information. They couldn't get anything so they came up with this convoluted story that they made up.
As it turned out, and this was in BigHit's statement- BigHit encourages BTS members and their families to seek outside counsel for financial and contractual things. There's a lot of reasons, and not all of them malicious. But JTBC thought they could be dispatch I guess, but even dispatch hasn't broken into the BigHit Building.

The hamburger incident. Imagine disrespecting and humiliating you in a live broadcast but still, you can forgive that man who didn't apologize but only justify his action. Mygoodness, they just really good and humble people. And take note, it is Jungkook who reach out first to that man before appearing in that recent tv show. Do you know that ARMYs are still mad on this host? Dude, they don't forget. But I think BTS attended this event to show to ARMYs that it is time to move forward and forgive.
All the other agencies except bighit kept pushing for that law to postpone the enlistment of their artists using bts as a shield, but now that the law is there, they're filing a complaint because no other artists aside from BTS reached the high standards. These companies want what BTS has created without putting in the work. Also, you think BTS plans their career with the cultural merit award in mind? Obviously nope. It's their sincerity and impact from their hard work that got them there.

Seriously, I was so peeved during the Grammy's. For three straight hours at *every* commercial break they told us BTS was "next". -.-
And then they cut their performance, which really sucks because BTS had worked really hard to record it all as a one-shot performance ...they ran through it many, many times to get the perfect one shot. It was one of their surprises for their fans and then nobody even knew because the performance was cut.

    Hi Jovany.
So they did NOT file a lawsuit against Big Hit. the journalist basically shot a video inside the company to try and add legitimacy to a false claim that BTS was at odds with their company. BTS and Big Hit actually have a very good relationship as far as we know. If they had filed a lawsuit, it would have been public record and available for media organizations to request information on. But no such lawsuit exists. It was JTBC's attempt to try and profit off BTS's fame and also potentially at the behest of a certain Big 3 company but we won't be able to prove that even if it's an open secret in the industry.

10:20 namjoon doing this is beautiful! it shows how much he really cares and how much he really doesn't want to hurt any woman. so much that all music, ever since, that speaks or mentions the woman is beautiful, it is poetic, I, as a woman, feel very well and very well represented. we women are tired of being placed as a sentimental or sexual object in most of the songs in the world, and I am very, very, very happy to be very well represented in their music.

    Regarding the German radio host:
I'm a German army and I remember how excited all of us were when the fix you cover came out. And to have that precious moment taken away from us and turned into something malicious and hurtful, simply HURT. Also straight up wishing death on someone (vacation in NK) and comparing someone to a deadly virus? Over a cover version? (That Coldplay themselves loved btw.) Armys were not having that and we began trending a hashtag in hopes of an apology. Well, we got one from the radio station. It was a short statement apologizing that WE GOT THE JOKE WRONG. (At the same time the host went on his FB page and wrote a long post about how he doesn't feel guilty, doesn't feel like a racist and how he's the actual victim here, bc he got so much online hate.) That was the moment Amys got MAD mad and the issue became bigger than BTS (or kpop in general). It was about racism and xenophobia on a radio show in times where Asian people got shot on the streets (USA) for.. just looking Asian. (And for not feeling the need to take any actions against that.) We teamed up, translated news articles for our fellow foreign armys and spread awareness to the topic, trending the hashtag for weeks. Because... isn't it what BTS tought us? To stand up against mistreatment and racism? In the end we actually did it. He's not allowed on air anymore and I really REALLY hope he's an example for other hosts, journalists and media people (from all countries) to not take racism lightly, joke about it or remain silent about it.

"What is the one thing we should discard from this chaotic world, now? Prejudice, probably. Where does prejudice come from? From ignorance. If you listen to their music, read the lyrics, watch the content and know what the ARMYs do (community work, philanthropic, for example), you probably won't have this prejudice. It is because you don't know, but you are justifying yourself with the thought of "they are nothing". Therefore, the prejudice that comes from ignorance leads discrimination and discrimination leads to violent oppression against others (Lack of love and respect). But this oppression also influences not only others, but also yourself. You are trapped in this small cage, which prevents you from growing any further as a human being. "Open your mind and your heart." That is my message, with respect, for prejudiced people.
Thank you, Jovany! - from Brazil

10:15 So about this while I agree artists should have artistic freedom you have to take in and realize that your words have a bigger impact that what you may have intended. For example as a writer I could never write a black character without a black beta reader reading it first because you do not want your words to be taken to push a negatively stereotype or narrative about a group of people that you yourself are not a part of. This is very mature response from RM to be honest because he could have hidden under the umbrella of "artistic freedom" but he nor you will never know what it's like to be a woman so how can you speak about us without reflection of a woman?
The lyrics in question are "women are like math they are hard to solve" (I'm paraphrasing here, but yeah) and while I know that BTS meant no harm in this as the song itself is about teenage male hormones and how men don't understand women. It pushes a narrative that many women do not like that we are somehow any more complicated than a man. We are all humans that are equally complicated and hard.
It's hard balance to come across, but your words have meaning. Even the words you say this video will effect someone and therefore how you present yourself to your audience is how your audience will respond.
It's like how it is now common place for men to reduce women to their ass and boobs because the music they listen to reduces women to that. Ya know what I mean? It's a balance.

I think it’s obvious that all other fandoms made up all these stories to discredit BTS. It’s pretty obvious that their fave kpop groups were slowly overtaken by a rookie group named BTS and they can’t accept that. I think KARMA simply worked their way to these haters who can’t accept other groups success. They even formed a group picking the best of the bests to go against BTS but they failed to take them down. It’s not just their talent that make them successful and popular, it’s their hard work, sincerity and genuineness.

They didn't file a law suit against the company.. the report was false... Which is why BTS and their family were extremely angry and Bighit then decided to put out footages of JTBC breaking into Bighit...
BTS contacted personal lawyers for their contract renewal with Bighit and it was Bighit themselves suggested them to do... BTS then renewed their contract for 7 more years with Bighit which the media mistook as "alleged law-suit against the company"
And it was certain Big3 company that made them release such a false news.. but no one can prove this... It's like a secret that every single person in the Industry is aware of! (Big3 ent companies: YG, JYP, SM)

Men are not able to understand the hardships a woman experiences from her point of view, so obviously a man can't decide whether something is misogynistic or not. Having his work read by an objective pair of eyes doesn't harm his artistic freedom. It's like having someone proofread your rough draft for an essay or book. It is helpful, not harmful.

This is why we armys are over protective of them. We are called toxic fans but fhe truth is we are just defending them against antis who throws hate on them. So when we clapback, antis will always play the victim wherein they were the ones who started it. We don’t fight antis unprovoked.
We Armys are minding our own business like loving, supporting, buying and charting BTS’ songs. Antis should do the same with their faves and leave armys and BTS alone.

Could you please react to *BTS 'ON' Commentary Film: Dialogue?* That vid will let you know about the behind process of making ON song (and a couple of other songs in 'Map of The Soul: 7' album) with so many experts & great artists such as marching band, choirs, and producers. It's so beautiful, also see how they talked about the boys 😊👇🏻

BTS was badly mistreated in their own country by those with power & influence (other entertainment companies, media, kpop fandoms etc) Despite all these efforts to end their career, BTS now not only dominate Korea but also the world. That's the biggest flex. That's why ARMY don't consider BTS & ARMY as part of kpop coz kpop hate us. For years kpop fandoms claim BTS is not kpop and said ARMY is not part of kpop fandom and throw us out of their circle. We called that day #ARMYINDEPENCEDAY and celebrate it. Now that BTS is successful globally, kpop fandoms are upset when we said BTS is not kpop and we want nothing to do with it. Now they want to claim us as part of kpop when they're the ones that reject us which by the way we happily accepted🤭🤣 So you see that's why ARMY are not friends with any kpop fandoms. Especially the big ones they used to band together to trend hate hashtags and bullied BTS and ARMY online. ARMY has the power to do the same but we won't do that coz we're a clever fandom🤗 I won't explain it but people with marketing background will understand😉

This video includes a matter related to the long unresolved political conflict between Japan and Korea, so you got to be careful not to believe all of this. The woman in this video is speaking only from the perspective of Korea just to justify what Jimin did, and which is really controversial. This matter is not that simple.
In South Korea, there is an organization that manages the "comfort women", and this organization controls the information in South Korea by importing women from China to play the role of comfort women, pressuring the women not to accept the apology money from Japan, pressuring the media not to report the story domestically no matter how many times Japan apologizes, etc.
The same things are happening with everything related to the time of Japan's administration of Korea. No matter what evidence is presented, Korean people just get dramatic and don't accept the evidence. And no matter how many times Japan proposes to take it to the international court, the Korean side always refuses to do so. Yet, they keep making up "their own evidence" and keep lobbying with it.
In recent years, their anti-Japan education has been even more excessive, and even false photos are used in textbooks to educate children to grow hate against Japan in them. In 2013, a Korean man in his 90s was killed by another Korean man in 30s just because he testified that "It was a peaceful time when Japan was administrating Korea", and a lot of Koreans justify this murder.
There are some Korean far-left people who make T-shirts like the one Jimin wore, which celebrates the damage Japan suffered by the atomic bomb. And one of these T-shirts were given to Jimin, and he probably just wore it without thinking well. But what the design implies is too obvious to not understand for a Korean person. I just wonder if American people would welcome someone who keeps wearing a T-shirt that celebrates planes crashing into the World Trade Center buildings, and have the person perform on TV.

It's not that I'm saying you're wrong, because there's definitely friendships among idols. However it has been proven and even said by kpop idols themselves that there have been problems among group members or even against other groups. So not all kpop idols get along.
