Micron E-Die is known to be tricky to overclock but.... we gave it a shot to try 4000Mhz and we got it to work. But even without any OC, RAM still cute and clean looking for my white theme Pc build :D

I was looking at getting this kit, but the 32GB version, glad to see they are using a good micron die, I was hoping to get CL down to 14 @ 3200 but looks like just bumping the voltage up to 1.45 and running the tighter timings @ 3600 would make me happy! Thanks for the informative video! There is not a lot of info on the XPG memory kits.

@ZXR asides from the four numbers of CL and Volt is there anything else I should change?
@@andydemarco3132 I have not got the kit yet, you can try adjusting the primary timings and voltage first, but if the system is not stable you will have to go deeper and adjust sub timings as well, if you are on ryzen platform look up the ryzen memory calculated tool. I am still learning about memory over locking myself so I don't have a ton of knowledge on it myself.

Hey I have this ram and I can only run it upto 3000 mhz @1.4 volts. I can’t even hit 3600 on it for which I paid for in the first place, what should I do any suggestions I am new to this. Should I bump up the voltage above 1.5 but I am very hesitant to do that as while achieving 3000mhz from preset 2600mhz took me 6 trys and 3 safe mode bootups which scared the shit out of me. I hope anyone can help I just want it to run at the speed I paid for

Goran XPG is part of ADATA which has been around for a long time and used to have top tier SATA SSDs
@@JammmmxD I never heard of XPG before. I found out about them a few days ago while browsing a site from my country. Their memory is much cheaper than Crucial, G.Skill. Corsair, etc... so I was wondering if they are any good. This video helped me.
See in PC related stuff is best to do some googling, rather than saying that you never heard and have false assumption that is a bad brand. Crucial is popular no doubt but is actually much worst than say..... XLR8 or XPG.

Also, while we are talking about "false assumptions" - I just wanted to leave a nice comment about how I learned something new from this video. I simply said that they are cheaper (In my country at least) than the popular brands, so I was curious about them. I never said that this brand is bad, or worse than any other.

Can you show us how did you change the timing, volt and others? I seriously cannot run the RAM at 3600mhz using the normal XMP. Windows randomly restart. No problems with 3200mhz though. Ryzen 3600x, B550M Steel Legend and XPG D50 same as yours. Appreciate your feedback
Try updating your bios first :)
@@BitsTribe already updated to lastest bios ver 1.8. Tried 3200mhz and 3400mhz runs fine but on 3600mhz windows keep rebooting

Either is fine with normal XMP enable, pick the design you prefer.

Always skip JBL, Consider Realme or Edifier.

I over clocked my Crucial 3200MHz CL16-18-18-36 E-die to 3600MHz CL16-18-18-38.

my motherboard is b560-f and 10400f cpu
Make sure they are running same hardware like hynix cjr + cjr/ Sam B die + B die.
Bot Hynix CJR + DJR, Samsung B die + Hynix. I don't advice getting 8GB separately.
I suggest just buy a 16GB kit then to go through compatibility hell. If you buy separately may not sync you will be unhappy and many people unable to help you :/
