Great memory. Mine came with Hynix C-Die chip. Running 2666mhz @ cl 11-13-13-28, with great stability on B460m motherboard. Almost same performance as 3200mhz @ cl 16. Good Review!
I have the 32Gb CL18 3600 kit. I was able to get stable at CL16-19-19-20-42, but my overall performance slightly decreased according to Userbenchmark and Cinebench R15. Gaming was margin of error. However, I upped my FLCK to 1833, running RAM at 3666, CL18-19-20-19-42 and my benchmarks increased. Ran the free Memtest for 100%+ coverage with no errors. This evening I will also test those settings in a few games before calling it stable. If it passes, I may see if my FLCK can push higher. Ryzen 7 3700x
What if I only changed the memory frequency and set the others to auto, does it mean I OCed the memory? Or it will not matter ‘cause I didn’t adjust the timings?
Hah, was about ready to buy a 16GB pair of CL16 TridentZ's, until I came across this video. I'd rather buy a 16GB pair of CL16 XPG's, then to pay $80-$100 US more for TridentZ's. I went with 3200MHz CL16's, because that's the max my Ryzen 7 3700X, and MSI X470 Gaming Plus can handle without overclocking. It might work with 3600MHz, but it might not be worth it since AMD says my CPU can max out at 3200MHz RAM speed. Thanks for the video, it saved me a bunch of money!
to change my ram or not.... not to mention my G.Skill TridentZ RGB 3000mhz (F4-3000C16D-16GTZR) only show kinda lower XMP profiles :( XMP1: 2800mhz 16-18-18-38 XMP2: 2933mhz 16-18-18-38 afaik my rams are kinda the first ones that G.skill releases but for intel and not for ryzen......
then i guess the d60g 3600mhz cl18 is much better than this 4133mhz kit..i got mine stable oc'd to 3933mhz cl16-20-14-14 with 1.45v on 1:1 fclk..59ns-62ns latency in aida64 test

Well is crapp companies. Give some utuber a b die module even on 3200mhz 8X2 16GB. Wtf png think us is stupid? All bought from store will be sk hynix chip. Not b die. If b die chip it will be expensive one on same model with 16gb version only. Thanks me later and keep those in mind, dont into utuber isboaid by pny and give em b die to sell it like all was b die. I call png can fool newbie but cant fool old gamers
That is honestly the WORST LOOKING RAM BECAUSE OF THE CHEAP LOOKING TRANSPARENT PLASTIC. The Trident Royal Z looks thousand times better because of acrylic.

Technically, it is still overclocking. however, if you set it to auto, there is a chance that your motherboard will set super loose timings

Just run memtest software
I like this ram but it has some dark spots, its best to just leave it on rainbow or static.
