You see in all the busking clips that the public are approaching the band, their all heading for the open guitar case to drop coins or notes in it.. Then after the show they sell merchandise cds etc.. Great reaction as always..❤😁😁
The story with Ren/Sam is that he saw Sam singing/busking on his own, but with no mic/amp. Ren offered him use of his amp and mic because he could hear a really good voice but few could hear him and were not stopping. Got on the 🎤 and the crowds soon appeared.

In Sam's new video, Time Will Fly, he has a clip of meeting Ren. Ren passed Sam on a street corner singing with no equipment. Ren thought he was good so stopped and leant him a mic and played for him to show him how much bigger the crowd would be if he had some kit. Ren told Sam he could keep all the money they made that day. Sam usually made £50 but that day with Ren he made £250. They have been friends since.

Yes in Brighton, UK this takes place. The white building opposite to where they are playing is the building Ren and friends come out of for Animal flow video.

Ren in an interview did address the Sony thing, he basicly said he wasn't dropped by them, his contract ran out but didn't do much with them because he was ill, and I believe it wasn't Sony itself it was a subsidiary of Sony, but they also let him keep the songs he did make with them which is cool of them since technically they owned them.
Yep. Around half of the tracks for Freckled Angels came from the Sony sessions.

Sam was only 15 when they met he was singing without a mic and Ren had packed up for the day but set up a mic for him and sang with him they have been friends ever since.

Hi Anthony, Tamaara, some smiles in this reaction, and obs. I respect artists that are able to do independent. I'm glad that Ren creates his own videos and music. I think Ren made this happen, busking with Sam. Sams falsetto, it's so controlled. What's crazy is Rens voice is harmonizing in some parts, higher. Man, they are so good...👍☝️🖼☝️🎇🤓

The guitar bit at the end is clearly inspired by Eddie Hazel's masterpiece "Maggot Brain" from Funkadelic. It uses the same ostinato and the guitar tones are spot on. Ren plays his own improvised lead lines, but the inspiration is clear.
