- I know, right? I mean who in their right mind decided that THIS should be her introduction to Ren?!? Other than the guitar work, this one doesn't really hit that much. Typical busking stuff. Not really a Sam Tompkins fan I guess.
She did this reaction a year ago. So this was way before Hi Ren. But hopes she gets to react more to Ren's music

Hi schnell, Ren Has a new solo video called Hi Ren a brilliant original song about his fight over the past few years with illness and sycosis a masterpiece! Please put him on the list an artist that is so now and an amazing talent.

Okay, so here's a little background information:
The dude playing the guitar is Ren, the other is Sam, they're actually neither brothers, nor a band, however they are very close friends and sometimes collaborate with one another or feature on each others songs.
The two of them actually met through busking, so music is definetly part of their bond!
They both write music on their own, Ren also is in a band called "The Big Push".
One of their most popular songs is Blind Eyed, I personally recommend checking out the live version ft. Angry Car Park Attendant, I'm sure you'll love it!
As for songs just by Sam I gotta admit I'm not really an expert, while I still enjoy listening to them every once in a while, I do tend to prefer Ren's music over Sam's.
Also Ren actually got signed by Sony waaay back, but had to give up on that due to his long undiagnosed infection with lyme disease.
But overall I can assure you they're both not only amazing singers, musicians and true artists, but also super nice people as well!!
I'm glad you got to discover this and I hope you'll keep reacting to their stuff, or at least give it a try in your personal time, I really believe more people should hear this!

Great find Schnell. I had not heard Ren and Sam before and was very impressed. I have had the pleasure to listen to many very good street performers in NYC through the years and these guys rank well up the list. Doesn't matter where you find your great music, whether at Carnegie Hall or the street or someone's backyard or on TH-cam. The challenge is to find the ones you enjoy.

Can you just imagine walking along the street in Brighton and coming across these Two .absolutely brilliant performers ,That be me in the background banging my head ,to make sure I was still alive and not in Heaven. Their voices and his Guitar 🎸 playing is absolutely something else .

For me, Sam's okay but a bit of a one trick pony. He does that trick really well but it's all he does, over and over. Ren, on the other hand, is one of a kind! A true musical genius... and with much better vocals too. :)
