      BurmTurn MX if you do it right, you’ll be pleased. Take your time and try you best to have the best conditions to paint in. If it’s cold out, dismount you’re wheels and take them inside overnight to get room temp. Store the paint inside the night before too. Cold paint doesn’t set up really well.

      @@Vexelocity Professionals don't use spray paint, they use spray pistols or powder coating, because the layers will be much more stronger. Personally been using spray paint and it hold fine enought, but I recommend to use an acrylic one because you can literally take the alkyd paint off with your fingernails :D

    I have a question for you. I know you have (or had) both the ttr50 and the ttr110. I have a '18 ttr 110 for my son, and have been slowly doing all the same mods you did in your videos. I found a used FMF Powercore 4 exhaust off of a ttr50 for cheap on marketplace. If you still have both bikes would you mind taking a look to see if theyre the same exhaust? I know the mufflers are basically identical, but im notb sure about the header pipe or the mounting holes.

    • @realmmfc
      @realmmfc  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has lasted pretty long honestly. About 8 months now without any significant damage and we ride and wash just a few times per week. Have to be reasonable with the expectation though. It wont last forever and that was never the intent for me. I was really just trying to see how long I could get by without dropping $250 for pitbike wheels lol.

      Decently for sure! You just have to be real about the expectation. Will it hold up for years? Doubt it, BUT, if you prep properly and take your time with it, I am going on 8 months now riding and pressure washing often without any significant damage. A few rock chips here or there! It will at least buy you time to get a good set of wheels or have your powder coated!

    • @realmmfc
      @realmmfc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Extremely well for about 10 months! After the first chip, it sort of spread a little bit. Still overall in good shape, but just be realistic with the expectation. We ride often and fairly hard on it, and wash after every ride so I’m sure that has contributed to the wear. Overall, been pretty please though. As long as you take your time and prep really well, the coats stick pretty damn well.

      Some small spots have chipped away, but honestly it held up incredibly well for a long time! I had considered getting them powder coated, but since it’s just a pitter, probably won’t. We have almost 50 hours on it now and the painted wheels happened at about 15 hours! Very impressive!
