    Thanks for this! Is your tidy tail custom? Been looking for options to the replace the obscene oem tail contraption

    Very useful video, Tom, as I am just to embark on a similar journey. My main question however, is that it seems that your new indicators seem to have lost their Daylight Running Light (DRL) function. Or perhaps you do not have those in the UK? What I mean is that my front OEM indicator lights are on all the time while riding, and they switch to blinking when I push the switch to left or right. This requires the indicator lights to have 3 wires (and therefore so have my newly purchased LED lights). Did you bike not have this, or did you not care to continue this DRL-function?

      Hi, no this bike does not have daylight running lights. There are only two wires, later model bikes have running lights like my 2019 CRF250 RALLY

      @@tomstc Ok, thanks. (my MT-0-1 is a 2009 model, so perhaps this was one of the few changes that Yamaha made to later MT-01 models, or perhaps it is a regional difference - I am based in Canada)

      @@jala6707 that‘s a North American thing. Won‘t find that kinda carry on in Europe. Wouldn’t even think they‘d be legal over here. Only time I see them is on cars and bikes owned by GIs.

      @@sebastianharreus8859 Interesting that it is illegal in Europe. Here (in Canada) it is a very common feature - many motorcycles are sold with standard DRLs.

    Hi, what relay did you use?

    • @tomstc
      @tomstc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used a cheap one from ebay, it works but the wires were wrong on it. I had to change them around
