Not an easy job. I recently did mine, the old plugs looked fine when i removed them but it ran a lot smoother with fresh plugs. Definitely worth the pain .
Like you say Tom a nightmare. Didn't have Yamaha plug tool so made my own cut down box spanner. Did front left plug ok which didn't look too bad and gave up with the other 3 to try another day.
Took me and a mate about 3 hours. I believe that when they made MT’s on the production line, they started off with spark plugs, and built the bike around them. 😑
That front one looked a right ballache mate. Piece of cake in the factory before it gets put into the frame though I bet🙄🙄 Just think though, worth every minute to hear that rumble when she's firing perfectly👍👍 6 views, 2 likes?????? 😒😒
Thanks mate, took her out yesterday to test and there is a noticeable difference so at least it was worth it! Wish I had thought about filming more but got a bit absorbed in the job! Yup and I have lost a sub too??? 🤷♂
Thanks for sharing this good work MT01 is a monster.
Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
I use a bit of pipe on the end of the spark plug to get the thread started then put the socket on my Honda CBF 600
Sounds like a good idea, I think if it hadn't finally gone I would have been looking for other Ways
Great job Tom even if it was a battle. Nicely filmed too👍🍻
Thanks mate

Thanks for the comment, yeah it was a job!!!!!
I took it out for a quick run and it does feel better, so fingers crossed for the spring!!!
For those who don't know, the correct tools are in the kit, under the seat. Nothing else will do the job. Ask me how I know.
I put a bit of rubber hose over the top of the plug then use it to twist the plug in, only using the plug spanner to tighten it down on the washer..
Ah great tip!
Thanks
me too
Beautiful bike different looking i hope i get one in future ❤
Thank you

Ah man, yeah the tool makes life 0.1% easier
I hope you have better luck next Time!!!
Thanks for watching and thanks for comment
Tool kit is attached to the underside of the seat itself.
Try spraying the plug threads with wd40, they screw in a lot easier 👍

Haha I can believe that!
😂
No more difficult then changing the plugs on my Tiger 1050. And yes there is always the worry that you might be cross threading.
I guess all bikes are a pain 😕
@@tomstc BMW boxer and Guzzi aren't.... 😄
@@whisperdancer haha, didn't really think about them!!!!
Where to buy a motorcycle ? I can't find him
