I know -you hold the Adaptation(s) until you play her, it's not very common to actually play her on 7. Yes, it's not guaranteed to even get either as an option, but if you manage to hold 2 Adaptations the odds are reasonable.

This is what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket. I just threw her into a Mid-range Murloc Paladin with Steeds and Portions of Heroism. It she hits 1 steed and 1 potion that's a 7 mana 3/7 taunt divine shield, battlecry draw a card, deathrattle summon 2/6 taunt.
The Adaptation spell picks a random result on Lynessa because you're discovering a result when you cast it. So no reliable way to get can't be targeted, unfortunately.
swordslasher3000 well if you cast 2 adapts you get a 21% chance to get spell resist (11% with one) If you cast 1 and keep one in hand its 41% chance. And with 2 in hand its a stunning 56% chance. Lastly thd trick it to use the murloc that gives you your buff card back. If you cast it 2 times on the murloc and then keep them in hand you get 65% Or you cast it 4 times and keep 2 in hand = 72%!!! well doesn't seem worth it... ;)
I think the deck is really only viable if you can give her "can't be targetted" from the Adapt spell, and even then she still can lose to priest Cabal Shadowpriest.
The Priest player was obviously waiting for Lynessa to Mind Control, not a stupid Stegadon. Priest is such a lovely class to play against though and definitely needed buffs through broken cards from the last 3 expansions. Blizzard has yet learned their lesson, unfortunately.
I'm not sure trump is utilizing some of the better buff spells, I like putting adapt in my deck gives Linessa a chance at being untouchable or shroud at the least. Plus I run the sweet kaleidosaur because hey Paladin is fun

The "good card" strategies (beatdown, tempo and midrange) have a real hard time on wild
You have to redraw it first to make that happen. "Shuffle back into deck" is one if not the strongest counter-mechanic in card games. Theres a reason why everybody runs "Castel" in their Yu-Gi-Oh-Decks. Good luck doing so while DK Priest throws his Voidbombs into your face.
