【Ingredients / serves 1】
Chicken thighs 50g (1.7oz)
Onion 50g (1.7oz)
Cooked Rice 150g (5.3oz)
Butter 10g (0.3oz)
Egg 200ml (6.7oz)
Demi-glace sauce 80g (2.8oz)*
→ 40g for the rice, and the remaining 40g for pouring on the egg sheet at the end.

Ingredients for quick demi-glace sauce. ↓
(It normally takes a day to make the sauce)
Hot water 300ml (10oz)
Butter 30g (1oz)
4tbs Flour
Bouillon (broth) 10g (0.3oz)
Fond de veau 10g (0.3oz) (If you have any. You don’t have to add this.)
1tbsp Ketchup
1tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1tbsp Mirin
Onion paste 20g (0.7oz)
1. Melt the butter in a pot and add the flour.
2. Fry the flour for about 15 minutes. Make sure not to burn it.
3. Add the hot water and bouillon little by little and stir it well.
4. Add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Mirin and onion paste.
5. Boil it for about 20 to 30 minutes and done.

cats need to understand what's in your hands and what it smells like, it keeps them from bothering you and it reassures them, but it also make them participate and share a moment with you. My cat always sits next to me when I'm cooking.

@MiekoNeko I think it depends on the age of the onion. And if you leave the hard stem end for some reason it helps not to trigger the onion cry. I think the age because I diced a red onion just last weekend that i had for a couple of weeks and was bawling...lol

Thumb and first two fingers hold the top half, last 2 fingers and ball of thumb hold the bottom half of the egg. Crack on a corner between middle and ring finger. If you can't do the Vulcan salute I don't think you can do it tho!

When I saw you slice the egg open and it unfolded out, and the nice soft cooked inside, I was like "Awwwww!" It looked so yummy and beautiful. I love my eggs soft scrambled like this, the same way as the inside looked.

I always wondering how his cat never ate the food every time Jun show it to it (like when he scoop the bite size of the finished omurice, and show it to the cat. The cat just smelled it). How docile! My cat usually eat whatever edible food I throw at him 😂😂😂. Bless this channel. Cleanse my soul and burning my desire to be a better cook than my novice self now.
I believe that is the reason why Haku (the cat in the video) is typically in these videos and not Poki who would absolutely dive for the ingredients.
He basically shows them the food enough that unless it’s something they really like, they just lose interest. They watch him cook for entertainment mostly as they are very curious. He also takes them on walks to keep them entertained

+Rafael it's pattern welded steel, which is made by layering a few pieces of different steel alloys before the whole thing is put in the forge and folded a few times and after it is cooled its treated with a chemical that reacts differently to the different allows changing their colors to make the pattern. Actual Damascus steel or as it is properly called "wootz steel" is a very different process (which has been lost to history, no one is certain how wootz was made ) to make steel and gives a similar look, but this is not Damascus steel, anyone that calls it that doesn't know what they are talking about and are using the term incorrectly.
pattern welded steel isn't that much harder to work with than a single alloy, but you can charge a premium because it looks pretty at the end. it doesn't change the hardness or durability of the knife in any significant way. it's just aesthetics.
