At 19:30 you reach my old condo building 😂 just before the TukTuk driver gets in your way. I left as the rent went up. I still party on Soi11 every week though. Few things to add. Main one, no mention of Burapa, the eastern Thai restaurant! It’s in my top 3 Thai restaurants in Bangkok. Food is amazing, decor very lowkey and it’s in the Michelin guide. Prices though very reasonable. Anaconda the cocktail bar. Had many an epic night in there. Great DJ and they do a buy 2, get 1 free on cocktails. Artisan Burgers (3 shops down from Bang Bang) is now my go-to for a burger. I think they are better and better VFM than Bang Bang. Chez LN is a hard no from me. Very over priced and underwhelming. Veganerie further down towards Sukhumvit (near Taco Bell) is a good option as well. Ignore the vegan part and go for the baked banana Roti and thank me later. Great coffee also. Agree on Breakfast Story. I now live Soi23 and visit their Sukhumvit branch every weekend. Texas toast is just off the scale good. Juicy the hip-hop bar is my favourite for a few drinks. Great band after 10pm 6-nights per week. Hillary 3 sometimes hit or miss. Was in last week and left after one drink. Band very poor. The Eleven Hotel is in the same parent group as the Aira Hotel (above Mullis) and they are similar but Eleven usually cheaper on Agoda. I’ve stayed loads of times, always good stays. Great rooftop pool and restaurant. Finally Mullis is now my go-to sports bar in the Nana/Asoke area. Tried loads of others, for a daytime couple of beers and a chill out I find it really good and happy hour extends to 8pm. Staff are all super nice and friendly.
Great walk around Soi11 helping us to wait for our next trip to BKK... BTW the empty land has a massive project on it and you can se the pics on the wall. But that seems to take forever , for years the space was a very cool commercial, tailor, bars (Including Cheap Charlie) and restaurant area, it demolished before Covid for a project then beer bars came on it, then they were destroyed and it seems that this piece of land as some issues.... Thanks for the Video!
I stayed at Soi 11 on my first ever night in Bangkok. Specifically at the President Palace hotel which is now the Mercure. It's still a great place to base yourself in Bangkok :)
@@bkk1126what was next to the Mercure before, now that it is a construction site? I haven’t been there for two years and now I’m starting to forget the landscape ….
11:23 a webcam is fixed outside there sharing 24 hours live streaming street view around the bar Hillary 3 on TH-cam. I think it’s for promoting the bar, interesting to watch especially at nightlife there but avoid yourself to be captured by the cam. 😂
Looks like they've chopped the bushes down in front of Zanzibar and opened it all up Not for the better in my opinion, had a nice garden restaurant feel beforehand, now everyone on soi 11 gorping at you
10:58 what was that lady soliciting from this gentleman here? I’ve never been approached during the daytime by anyone on soi 11, and I’ve stayed there a five times…
How gentrified and expensive it has all become. what I would do to be able to rewind the clock 20 years! are you not getting bored with Bangkok and Thailand after all these years?
@@Kenelm-q1e Been to many times now over the last 20 years. It just not what it was. I will give it a miss next time fly to SEA. Maybe off the beaten track in the Philippines or Indonesia. Yep too many tourists now in Thailand.

Great comment. There's so many establishments on Soi 11 it's impossible to list them all. I never knew there was a Michelin restaurant there :)
BEST SHOW ON THE TUBE THE ICON
My fave day drinking is on 11 and the Olde English at Thonglor BTS. . Really good deals there.
Top vlogger on ytube , the reason I visited SE Asia . :)
Nicely done.
Another great video from the OG

Love informative videos like yours my friend. Date, time, street names, etc are helpful information for me. Thanks for sharing
Great walk and vid. I personally, will never do business in any establishment that is cashless.
The motorbike taxi had no chill and full speed ahead, surprisingly danger factor just medium😂
It felt safe at the time. Looking back it was probably a high danger factor! :)
Is that Landbank where the Federal Hotel used to be? Spent a few nights there back in the day. Thanks for hitting the old haunts!

Crazy pizza man at 24:50
Very crazy!
Hotel review coming soon?
Wow Finch closed already... Big hit on the owners wallet
BKK..the website down for good? Was looking for some hotel recommendations.
Couldn't find it either
Heningway my Go To but expect North American prices. BKK is a sticker shock on pricing unless you research

I agree especially with smartphones. Not bored of Bangkok (yet!) :)
Still an awesome place. Just too many tourists.
That old chestnut again , boring 🥱
