- A Bangkok walk down Soi 11 in Sukhumvit to the Aira Hotel, a fairly new 4-star hotel that has become my favourite place to stay in the area. I explore the hotel amenities including the rooftop pool and check out a premiere corner room.

Excellent hotel review Johnny! Your room looked beautiful. 🤩 The only thing disappointing for me is the lack of a bathtub. The dining amenities looked fantastic😊 Will add this hotel to my Thailand visit list!

Your room looks great too, shame it wasn't soundproof lol. Liked seeing the hotel amenities too, thank goodness someone was there to let you out of the gym, would be embarrassing being stuck in there 😂

I saw this video a month ago and saved it. I watched it again tonight and booked a corner room, same as this for 3 nights. Was out of my budget range, so my Silom hotel for 3 nights was more than half cheaper to compensate. lol.

I stayed in this hotel a day ago, it is a nice hotel. I like the miami hotel in soi 15 a carateristic old hotel with old things from the past

Did you make it to their rooftop bar? Looks nice, I believe the name of it is Pastel on the 22nd floor.
I went up there for a view but that was after I recorded this lol. I can't really comment on it much.
Thank you for this interesting hotel review. I would like to ask you one question regarding your hotel review. At 25:17 you are showing the App options offered on the TV of this Aira hotel. One of these App options is showing a "WWW" sign (the one above the TH-cam app). Does this mean that you can go online on this TV to use the TV as a kind of computer? I am just asking because I am usually not taking my mobile phone with me when I am travelling for holiday purposes. So it would be really great to find a hotel where I could use the TV in my room as a computer to go online and browse websites during my holidays.
You can but I don't know why you would, it will be a horrible experience with the remote. Just use your phone/tablet/laptop IMO.
I have stayed at the Aira many times and actually return again middle of May. It is a fabulous hotel, great amenities, nice location (Soi11 is the best Soi in bangkok IMHO) and convenient for everything. I eat and drink often in the Mullis bar attached to the hotel (say hi to Sasha for me if you venture in, lovely girl) but Soi11 has so much to offer it’s hard to choose favourites. And I agree about this being a genuine 4* hotel as compared to some that claim that status but are actually more like a 3* did you try Pastel the upscale restaurant and bar? It’s very much a fave of the Insta crowd but I really like it. Amazing cocktails and great views.
I checked out upstairs but didn't have a meal or drink there. Glad you like this property as well!

Why is the places I visit on soi 11 at the far end😢 I love the fact that you can smoke at the pool. I would just stay there so I could smoke my cigars at the pool.
530 dollars for 4 nights seems expensive. is that booked direct with hotel? or booked last minute? i book in advanced and usually pay no more than 90 dollars per night but thats through agoda
It's an upgraded premiere corner room. Booked through Agoda, which was cheaper than directly through the hotel. It's not expensive at all for what it is. The standard King room could have been had for under $100 without breakfast but I'd rather have the much better room and the meal for 2 included daily. To each their own.
@@JohnnyStrides i watched later in the video and you mentioned it was canadian dollar, forgot to edit my comment. But yes, i have stayed here multiple times and typically pay 3300-3800 baht per night, thats in a premier corner (if booked 5+ days in adv) or premier king. If i am booking last minute, i typically get deluxe king for 3300
