Yeah, in Russia there is a game similar to airsoft called hardball, and they are using there airguns with steel 4.5 peelets or bbs, but they are wearing special gear to play this as well 😉

i have both black and chrome finish 357's. i swapped the grips over, so i now have the chrome with black grips and it looks even more awesome. the black one looks better with the brown grips too!

Usually the outer barrel is just a metal shroud (at least on most of the airsoft/airgun replicas i've handled), you could just open a bit the front and back
A lot of air (4.5mm) and airsoft (6mm) revolvers such as Dan Wesson and WinGun are essentially identical with the exceptions of the inner barrel and the shells. Evike.com sells a conversion kit (www.evike.com/products/69667/) for the WinGun 4" 6mm revolver for $25 USD. As a gun for gameplay/skirmishing the biggest problem that I see is that many of these revolvers shoot "hot", well over 350FPS (My airsoft WinGun 703S is rated at 380FPS to 400FPS).

It is nice revolver airsoft. In my country, Guns that shoots a metal bbs will be considered to be AIRGUN that has to request the license before. It will be interested to use the plastic bbs instead.

Hey, ive seen an ASG DanWesson Revolver online with 1.7 Joules. It shoots 4,5mm Steel BBs. can i use 4,5 plastic bbs to play with my friends? (No mesh goggles / but proper and thick gear) Will the gun get damaged at some time if i use Plastic bbs?
I muck about with primarily Air Guns and they usually have a higher impact force and it's why UK dwellers won't see Auto on a 4.5 BB or Pellet version of a Gun when they've seen it on an Airsoft version as the UK has a power limit for Auto, its also why I cringe when I see some markets in other countries selling air guns as airsoft and vice versa, you do not want to be shooting your friends even in armour with an Air gun and you don't want to be using Airsoft for live quarry.
6mm metal BBs would be moving super slow. Of course I don't believe metal BBs should be used for airsoft, but shooting a heavier porjectile with the same force as used on a lighter projectile will lower the velocity. It would probably have more inertia though.

But i tested it giving a LOT of shots in pointblank range with CO2 pistol [Cybergun PT-92, 380-400 FPS] ... And works good! Just small dents, no cracks!

Looks like it could work if the inner barrel was removed but that wouldn't fix the 600+ fps problem
