A day in Taranaki - Short walks in Egmont National Park

With a busy lead-up to Christmas, time was not on my side. In need of fresh air, I took a day trip to Egmont National Park, to tick a track or two off my list, and the Mountain didn't disappoint.

I was fortunate to meet Tom on the inter island ferry five years ago, in that short few hours we had a good chat and some of his words of wisdom stayed with me, sad to hear of his passing

We need a cycle trail round the hill be a massive draw card to the province
