Very cool mate. I wish more folks would do 'application' based demos. A gear list in itself isn't really that revealing. Always great to listen to and watch you play too.
Awesome pedal demo on the J Rockett's. I'm currently using a Cochran Timmy and Fulltone CME OCD and Strymon Sunset. I love what you're getting out of the J Rockett's and decided to go for now with all three. Love noodling around with OD's. I often tend to stack two OD's so this was great to see you pair the 45 with the GTO. Reviewed several of your other video's as well. I also use the Strymon Flint and BigSky and Timeline, a compressor. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to post this video and others.
I really hate that I'm late to the party on Shawn! You are just a tasty player! Love all your playing and your touch is that of a true seasoned musician. I also saw you are playing the exact guitar I have, but was so blown away by your touch, that it truly inspired me to want to get better. Thank you!!
Playing live is a totally different animal than playing in isolation. That's why this is my favorite kind of demo. When you get a rundown of what he actually uses live you get practical ideas and/or pedal choices we may want to incorporate for ourselves. Shawn please feel free to demo your big board too :-) I love stealing from the best. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Shawn! Just wanted to say I love the vids you are doing. Personally, I feel your demos are the most true to how the pedals actually sound, and you always pull the best tones out of them. Im looking forward to more awesome vids in the future. hope you are doing well!
Killer as usual, Shawn! You always remind me why I need to own a Strat again. Those middle positions are special! Thanks for your selfless contribution to the guitar community, bro.
Awesome Tone and playing. Everytime I hear that J. Rockett Pedals "Blue Note" - it just Sounds Incredible. What a fantastic low - med gain Transparent Overdrive pedal.
Just watched your Truetone Lounge interview - it was really great! - it's nice to see that a monster player you follow also turns out to be a really good guy.
Phenomenal demo and really, can't argue and even love all your choices here. The Rockett dirt is fantastic, and you really sold me on the Ego and the two Strymons too here. The PettyJohn is interesting and like the way you make them all interact with each other. Nice job and thanks for sharing!!
Love how that chime sounds. Could you tell me what position the low cut and clip switches are in. I'm gonna use mine as a low gain. I have a Fuchs Plush Cream Extreme that I use as a always on pedal.
Any chance you could create an updated pedalboard(s) video? I have a huge amount of appreciation for your tone, combined with the fact you’re a pro-level musician ... great recipe for edutainment Thanks -Scott
Shawn Tubbs very inspiring Shawn, I found your video by chance and found it very inspiring. Loved your approach and playing, I’ve checked out a few more videos and have been equally impressed. I use several of the J rockett pedals and strymon stuff and love them, Ive been on the look for a petty john chime in the U.K. the last couple days since seeing this vid, I’m near lands end in the depths of the south west of cornwall UK so sadly guitar shops are rare. Look forward more videos
Great board, nice, clean and sound good... I'm considering PettyDrive V2, but are not sure if I should only go with the Chime instead. Would you say the 'Iron side' of the PettyDrive could replace the .45 in terms of how you use it as presented in this video?
Thank you for responding... then I only need to consider if I should try them separately. I mean, the obvious weak spot of the PettyDrive V2 is that I'm sort of stuck with both Chime and Iron even if I like only one... I'm looking at setting up a pedal board about that size. Just perfect for a guitar player of my caliber having to drag around with my own gear and rarely get to play on big stages :) Pardon the self promotion, but check out Brother Tuck's on Spotify, Tidal, iTunes if you happen to want to listen to something new... I just tend to throw the name out there in case someone will listen :)
Funny I have the timeline too. After experimenting with it the first two months and wasting a lot of time instead of playing, i settled on a couple of presets and that's it. Kind of expensive for just that but it sounds good.
Hi Shawn, really instructive your videos and your style is really inspiring (you'd be amazed how many people actually download your videos to practice your licks and try to figure out your style). What I would really like is if you would be able to make a video on sophisticated use of the delay. Delay is kind of a subtle science, really a lot is possible especially with a pedal like the timeline, but in the beginning you need a bit of guidance on what type of dealy works where and where not. I think you could easily fill a very interesting video with it. I don't know if it somehow fits in your plans but I for sure would appreciate it. Thanks a bunch for all the good stuff I already got from you, take care!
So, you put the volume pedal after overdrives, right? Is this a good position for swelling sounds? Does the Flint's reverb work well for swells? Thank you very much for attention and for another marvelous video! ;)
Yes after the OD's so I can turn up and down without changing the gain stage. The Flint would work well for swells. It has a good modern long hall verb setting on it. Just depends on how much ambient playing you're planning on doing. If you're playing quite a bit of that style you might want to consider a Strymon Big Sky. Thanks!
Thx for going thru how you use your pedals with each pickup for given parts. Nice to put a face with a name, I did some dates in the late 90's with Crystal Lewis, subbing for David Cleveland. Great singer she is!!!! kev
Thanks Zachary! I usually keep the boost and drive below 9 o'clock and the level just about 12 o'clock. I keep it in the LED clipping mode. Tilt and Low filters will very based on the amp.
Shawn just curious why you chose to run your flint before the delay? Is it because you want the tremolo before the delay? Normally I see guys run verbs after.
Hi Shawn, great demo as usual! I'd like to add something from Strymon to my pedal board. I'm wondering if their Big Sky would cover most everything that the Timeline and Flint provide, all in one pedal? I'm not looking to do anything really crazy, but very similar to the sounds you're getting. I just love the spacious stereo spread on the Strymon gear. thanks!
@shawntubbs do you have any material, or guidance on how you attained such accurate picking symmetry, and incorporating melodic minor, and bebop scales into your Pentatonics and other improvisation? You are just so clean.
You're very kind Cody. Honestly my right hand technique is a major struggle for me. I don't really have exersices per se. I just struggle with it until I can sort of play it clean. I don't really have or know of any materials that I could point you toward. I listened to a lot of Robben Ford and Django, Scott Henderson and Landau and just kind of figured out my own weird way of looking scales.
Love listening to you play man and great board walkthrough! Curious, nothing to do with the board, but do you have specific strings you like to outfit your guitars with?
Thanks for sharing Shawn. I was wanting to ask you if you would do teaching video on setting tones and so on. I liked the idea of using two separate pedals for neck and bridge pick up soloing, new to me.
Good idea to have a pedal set for the neck pickup 👍🏻 I stole your idea and set my Fulldrive on the bright side for the neck pickup on my Tele! Works well live....Thanks
Okay, I'm now a fan and a follower. I read through all the other comments and yes a video on some of your cool jazzy riffs would be awesome! I just wanted to confirm that you have all these pedals setup before the pre-amp? After watching this I had to go practice some more so when my fingers start to bleed I'll come back and watch the rest of your channel!
Awesome Shawn! Great board and playing. Any chance you could do a rundown on some of your guitars? Would love to hear more about them, especially the McCarty! Thanks again!
let me start by saying I appreciate your great videos my question is in your opinion what would be the best preamp pedal to use with the two notes cab M? I play mainly Gospel And R&B so I'm looking for that clean Strat sound and that classic 80's lead thanks in advance
Sounding great as always mr Tubbs! Your JRAD Performance video was influential in making me buy the GTO. Loving every moment I have with it! I'm a bit curious, is there a particular reason you use the Flint before the Timeline? Seems most people prefer to use their reverbs after delay. Still sounded fantastic though!
I would normally if was using the Flint just for verbs have it after the TL but because I use the trem on the Flint a lot and I don't like delays into tremolo I opted to put the Flint in front of the TL. Thanks Jon!
I understand. I use mine primarily for reverb and rarely use the tremolo, so I just put the Flint last. Maybe I should start experimenting more with where I put it in case I'll start using the tremolo side more. Thanks Shawn!
Hey Shawn! I know you've updated to the Chime MKII. But can you discuss the settings on the Chime when you used it as an "always on" clean sound. It's hard to see the knobs on the pedal and it sounds great!
I love the J rockett stuff!! I got the gto because of this video!! Thanks for doing a great job!! Question...when you play live do you stack the pedals or are you tap dancing for every lead?? Another question....do you ever use the compressor with a overdrive pedal?
It depends on the situation. For the most part I'm more apt to turn on one pedal for rhythm playing and another for lead. That being said if I'm in a Bass, Drums and Guitar trio I'm probably going to have an "always on" type of box and then stack low gain and high gain boxes on top of that. The "always on" box could very well be a comp or really low gain push box. One compressor I'm looking into right now is the FX engineering mirage comp. I'm not a big compressor guy but this one seems interesting as an always on pedal. Thanks for the shout out and question!
Hi Shawn! When it comes to setting up delays, in particular, those of the softer, ambient type, is it more about the right mix level with less repeats, or the inverse, that helps it sit properly in the mix? And by that I mean providing a little "wet" without being obtrusive? By the way, I really enjoyed the True Tone interview, in particular your comments about being "all about the guitar, but never at the expense of family or relationship". I've always known and felt that, but it really helped clear some things up for me in the balance of family time, and paying the bills. The gig money certainly helps ends meet, but you can never get that time away from family back. Much appreciated!
Hey, Harold thanks for the great question. In general, before I reach for the mix level I'll adjust a number of repeats first. If I'm wanting to hear more delay, more repeats and the same idea applies to the opposite. The next thing I'll look at is the the top end of the delay. If I want less delay I might cut the top end of the delay. If I want more I might brighten it up. It's a bit of a balancing act but the idea is not to be totally mix level focused. Yes relationships are important man!
Hi Shawn, First off...I'm a big fan of your playing. This is such a great pedal board demo! I see so many videos just showing off the pedals/signal chain, etc...but not hearing how they use the gear. Just curious why you put the Flint before Timeline? :) All the best, Mike
I know it's odd. I just don't like my Delays into a trem pedal. I can live with a verb hitting the delay because I don't do verbs that much. Thanks Mick.
+Shawn Tubbs All good. That's fair enough. There are no hard and fast rules really....just what gets the results you're looking for. Thanks for your response! Much appreciated:)
No Dude pedal? Kidding. I see you have Guthrie's pedal on there. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I love the Landau pickups. I have one in the neck position on one of my teles and it is beautiful. Great sounding rig and super playing.
Shawn, do you have the board wired for it all to go into the front of the amp? Or is it set up for a separation of amp loop effects (timeline, flint, etc) and front of amp effects (OD, drives, comp, etc)? And how are the effects mounted?
It's funny ask. I'm going to eventually put a peak out box on that board so I can route delays and verbs to the FX loop of an amp. It's good to have options. Thanks Adam.
Thanks very much! I really just use the digital delay engine on the TL and the only thing I do is keep the repeats darker. The short delay time is around 225-275 milliseconds. The longer delay is set with the delays just a little brighter and slightly more delay mix than the short delay.
The Level is at about 11 o'clock, Drive is at about 10 o'clock, Tone is at 12 o'clock, Boost is at about 10 o'clock. The Low Cut switch is in the up position. The Clip switch is in the middle.
Shawn, LOVE your middle and neck pickups!!! So sweet? Which kind of MLs are they - Classic or Standard? Also, I couldn't hear any hum - do you have the Suhr Slent Single Coil system in your guitar?
Thanks man! As far as I know there is only one model for the ML singles. There was no SSC system in that guitar. There was hum...Just depended on where the guitar was faced. ;)
There are actually two variations of the ML - Standard and Classic - check out www.suhr.com/pickups/single-coil-pickups/suhr-ml-signature-pickups/ They are different from each other, but no one has ever compared them one to one online, and it's kind of hard to make a decision which one to get based solely on the web site's description. I DO love yours, that's why I was asking.
Well shoot....I'm thinking it was the standard set based on the staggered pole but I can't be sure. I think they offer the V70s now on the Classic Pros. I'll pester Suhr and try to find out which ML set ended up in the guitar.
Shawn Tubbs Cool, let me know when you find that out. The combination between these pickups and your Petty John pedal is one of the sweetest sounds I've heard.
Great playing as always :) I recently bought the Pettyjohn Chime, Iron and Predrive. Amazing pedals! What settings do you use on the Chime when used as always on?
Love this pedalboard review! Would enjoy to see more from you Shawn! Question, You mention that you keep the Chime on most of the time. Would you consider the Lift to do the same thing as far as a core tone/boost pedal? I'm going back and forth between getting the Chime or the Lift. Cheers and thank you!
Man that's a tough one... I like the Chime because it can be used as an OD to a degree and I really dig the sweep tone..That being said the Lift may not be as much of a gain pedal but it has an awesome tone circuit as well for hitting other pedals or dealing with different amps. I would say go with the Lift if you're wanting a lot of tone variation into other pedals and amps and go with the Chime if you think you may want to use it as a low gain OD pedal.
dude…please make a lick book or something, some of these runs come out of nowhere and would be great to pick up. The blue note tone with the neck on the strat is awesome.
Thanks Hugo, In this case I'm using the Torpedo Live Digital Loadbox with an Ownhammer IR. When I'm using a cabinet I use a Suhr closed back 1x12 with an Eminence CV 75 speaker. Royer R121 and SM57 mics into a Chandler TG2 mic pre.
This video is one I watched most out of all your videos, playing and tone are 2nd to NONE! Could I ask, are you running tremolo into Reverb or Reverb into Tremolo?
Hey, thanks for the question and the kind words. That board is made by a company called TrailerTrash. That model is called the Flat Trash. The shelf is sold separately in different sizes.
Shawn Tubbs "Demolition" album. A collection of short but sweet guitar jams. shawntubbs.bandcamp.com/releases
I just come to hear this guy play. Incredible.
When you get time, please post some tutorials :)
Very cool mate.
I wish more folks would do 'application' based demos. A gear list in itself isn't really that revealing.
Always great to listen to and watch you play too.
Man, you just can't deny how awesome a Suhr Strat is.
@Second Amendment What guitar companies do you recommend for players who want a strat but also want a wider neck?
Notice: Shawn actually PLAYS what he demos, not just a hired gun! Good man...
I find myself coming back to this for the playing and the sweet tones, would be great to see how your board has changed since this
Shawn, that piece you played at 8:30 while demonstrating the delay settings was so beautiful! Your playing is an inspiration. Thank you.
Those are some fabulous tones, you got there! Really nice board. Love the Chime and 45!
I really hate that I'm late to the party on Shawn! You are just a tasty player! Love all your playing and your touch is that of a true seasoned musician. I also saw you are playing the exact guitar I have, but was so blown away by your touch, that it truly inspired me to want to get better. Thank you!!
I love your jazz riffs. can you make a jazz soloing lesson?
Incredible Strat tone. I want that clean tone.
And awesome playing of course!
Really cool demo!
I bought a .45 Caliber after watching this video. Great tones and simply beautiful playing.
Thanks so much man! I may do a demo of my bigger board but I hesitate because it's so focused on just covering one gig..
Great effects, I could listen to this demo for hours. Thanks and I love those fancy jazz chords as well.
Chime ALL the way! Wow, what a tasty sounding pedal that is!
Really great demo Shawn! I enjoyed your playing and thought process for gear choices. Thanks for sharing.
Well done. Always interesting to see how the pros use pedals in combinations. Would like to see you do in vid on your various settings of the Flint.
every tone was perfect..enviable...well thought out...love the idea of as different pedal for the front and back pick ups...gonna try that today
Phenomenal demo and really, can't argue and even love all your choices here. The Rockett dirt is fantastic, and you really sold me on the Ego and the two Strymons too here. The PettyJohn is interesting and like the way you make them all interact with each other. Nice job and thanks for sharing!!
Thanks so much!!
Love how that chime sounds. Could you tell me what position the low cut and clip switches are in. I'm gonna use mine as a low gain. I have a Fuchs Plush Cream Extreme that I use as a always on pedal.
Thanks for making this video Shawn. I've recently discovered your playing via a video you did on the dude pedal. I like your approach a lot. Cheers
Thanks very much Nick.
Shawn! You should definitely start posting lesson videos!
Nice power supply buddy!
YES IT IS!!!! Thanks for building a great product!
+Shawn Tubbs dual lock Velcro?
Tim Nienhuis // Here In This Place Hey Tim. It's the 3M dual lock. More sturdy than velcro.
I swear by the dual lock! I'll show you my board when you come on the talk show. I could listen to you play all day.
Any specific 3M dual lock stuff to look for?
At 4:30 and 7:15, how sweet is that... And that's what a pro sounds like !
Damn your good Shawn!! Great rundown and I love those Mike Landau pickups!
the chime is amazing.
Any chance you could create an updated pedalboard(s) video?
I have a huge amount of appreciation for your tone, combined with the fact you’re a pro-level musician ... great recipe for edutainment
Thanks
-Scott
Hey Scott, thanks for watching and for the support! I need to build a new pedalboard at some point. Just gotta get the cash together;)
That amp always sounds great Shawn. And very cool to know that the Two Notes works so well. I HAVE to get one.
Thanks Grant. Yes that D13 is really good sounding. I've had it for a long time now. The two notes stuff is killer.
Great video, loved the tones and such beautiful playing and touch. Simplicity rules the roost
Thanks so much for the kind words and for tuning in!
Shawn Tubbs very inspiring Shawn, I found your video by chance and found it very inspiring. Loved your approach and playing, I’ve checked out a few more videos and have been equally impressed. Thanks, man. The Iron sounds different than the .45 Caliber but yes, in theory, it would be the medium gain crunch OD.
Thank you for responding... then I only need to consider if I should try them separately. I mean, the obvious weak spot of the PettyDrive V2 is that I'm sort of stuck with both Chime and Iron even if I like only one... I'm looking at setting up a pedal board about that size. No wonder why Carrie sounds so kick ass live,...well done!
Thanks, man I appreciate it.
Great playing and demo!
Hey shawn, thanks for always being a great inspiration to many! How do you run your chime for always on?
Thanks Zachary! I usually keep the boost and drive below 9 o'clock and the level just about 12 o'clock. I keep it in the LED clipping mode. Tilt and Low filters will very based on the amp.
Sweet fly rig Shawn... looking in the background I think you have another potential fly rigor to back there!
Shawn just curious why you chose to run your flint before the delay? Is it because you want the tremolo before the delay? Normally I see guys run verbs after.
Probably wants trem > delay and not the other way around I'm guessing.
Trem is a modulation and it usually goes mod>delay>verb
Alistair Taylor I run delay-reverb-tremolo, in the old bf amps the reverb is before the trem
Gorgeous tones!!! Great playing!!!!
Thanks man!
Awesome tones and playing as usual!
I just love the spacious stereo spread on the Strymon gear. thanks!
The Big Sky is killer but I'm not sure you could get every thing a Timeline and Flint together could offer.

You're very kind Cody. Honestly my right hand technique is a major struggle for me. I don't really have exersices per se. I just struggle with it until I can sort of play it clean. Shawn Tubbs thank you, you are a monster man.
Killer sounds man! I've been debating between the 45 and GTO for higher gain lead work, the GTO has a nice amount of gain on tap. Beautiful tones
For soloing I tend to lean towards the GTO for sure. Thanks Justin!
i have those monitors. dirt cheap about 20+ years ago at guitar center. still sound great.
Very inspiring!
You have the perfect amount of delay.
I wonder what millisecond it is?
Thanks Emilio. I'm always tapping that stuff in but it usually ends up in the 275 to 325ms range.

That would be great Shawn. Thanks.

FREAKING AWESOME TONE !!!

Sounds Great!
I wanted to ask what case you're using for the board and if you usually carry it on or check it under a plane?
Thanks!
- Ryan
That's a Trailer Trash board "flat trash" board. When I fly I generally check it.
Awesome Shawn! Great board and playing. Any chance you could do a rundown on some of your guitars? Would love to hear more about them, especially the McCarty! Thanks again!
I will get on that soon!
Very nice sounding rig! I really like the Flint....
Thanks so much! Yeah that flint was a show stopper for me. Good stuff!
let me start by saying I appreciate your great videos my question is in your opinion what would be the best preamp pedal to use with the two notes cab M? I play mainly Gospel And R&B so I'm looking for that clean Strat sound and that classic 80's lead thanks in advance
Great board. Thanks for sharing. What pedalboard is that? love the 2 tier to hide the powersupply under. Who makes that? Thanks.
That's a Trailer Trash Flat Trash board. The shelf is sold separately. Thanks!
Thanks dig it.
Is this the 24"x12" board with the 14"x6" riser? kind regards, David
Yep!
Shawn, really great as usual. Do you use the Dude pedal as well or can the stacked 45/Lenny get you close enough.?
I was originally watching the rockett peda demol but this must have followed so my question was for the previous video.
@@bobbyruggs808 No problem! I think the Lenny into the 45 would get you close enough for sure.
As the TrueTone CS7 only has 7 outputs, are you daisy-chaining the power to some of the pedals? Great demo and inspiring tones by the way.
Thanks, Philip for watching! The Ego Comp is daisy-chained with the TC Tuner.
Oh the sound at 4.38 is fantastic. Great palying a s usual Shawn. Oh , nice hat too Bro :)
Thanks man!
Sounding great as always mr Tubbs! Your JRAD Performance video was influential in making me buy the GTO. Loving every moment I have with it! ***** There are no rules my friend!!!
Another question....do you ever use the compressor with a overdrive pedal?

great video Shawn, hey where did you get that pedalboard? Thanks
That's a Trailer Trash pedal board. I bought it direct.
Your awesome, promise youll keep doing this!
Great video and super practical board. Your tones and playing are always on point. Is that the 14" or 16" wide shelf?
Thanks so much! That is the 14" shelf.
hey shawn! thank you and jayse for your help!
Been following your playing for years still sound great as always. Have you ever tried any of the Two-Rock amps if so what do you think of them.
I have yet to play through a TR. I've heard great things about them.
Much appreciated:)
very nice, informative, direct to point and of course delivered with touch and talent :)
Great sounds man! And great playing!
great video mate! love your playing and awesome setup! ☺️
Thanks very much Ryan!
Shawn,
Where did you purchase your small "Opry" pedal board & its shelf for the Timeline & the Flint?
Love the tones!!!
That board is a Trailer Trash "flat trash" board. You can buy the shelf separately from them.
Thank you my friend. We have a mutual friend in Eddie Berman. Eddie is one of the best people I have ever known.
Great sound. What is your flint settings? it's 60's spring reverb?
Thanks very much. I think it was actually the 70's verb.
Thanks!
No Dude pedal? Kidding. I see you have Guthrie's pedal on there. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I love the Landau pickups. I have one in the neck position on one of my teles and it is beautiful. Great sounding rig and super playing.
I saw all the J Rockett stuff,and then thought "Where's the Dude,dude?".
Thanks man! The dude is going on another board FYI!
The Dude is going on another board dude!
Really nice!! Could you please share your two Timeline settings? These are wonderful!
Thanks very much! I really just use the digital delay engine on the TL and the only thing I do is keep the repeats darker. The short delay time is around 225-275 milliseconds. The longer delay is set with the delays just a little brighter and slightly more delay mix than the short delay.
Thank you very much!
Great sound! what is your chime settings?
The Level is at about 11 o'clock, Drive is at about 10 o'clock, Tone is at 12 o'clock, Boost is at about 10 o'clock. The Low Cut switch is in the up position. The Clip switch is in the middle.
thanks a lot man!
There was hum...Just depended on where the guitar was faced. ;)
There are actually two variations of the ML - Standard and Classic - check out www.suhr.com/pickups/single-coil-pickups/suhr-ml-signature-pickups/
They are different from each other, but no one has ever compared them one to one online, and it's kind of hard to make a decision which one to get based solely on the web site's description.
Sorry I took me a second to answer your question on the ML's in that Suhr. Those are indeed Standards.
Shawn Tubbs Thank you so much for the insight and thoughts! I'm thinking the Lift as I don't really need another OD in my chain.
Right on man!!
dude…please make a lick book or something, some of these runs come out of nowhere and would be great to pick up. The blue note tone with the neck on the strat is awesome.
Thanks man!! I've got some ideas for the future....
+Shawn Tubbs one more thing, what are your settings for blue note tour in this video? thanks man
Loved the vid! Question: why do you not use the compressor as much? A lot of guitarists I know use it to add some flavor to their clean sound
I love what my compressor does for my clean tone, but it can chop up an overdrive, and take the magic out of it.
The Rockett 45 Caliber sounds great! How do you have it dialled?
I've got it dialed at a fairly low gain so it will stack well with the GTO. Thanks Phillip.
Nice video, how you mic your cab and what mics are you using? Thank Shawn
+Shawn Tubbs thank you for the info
Shawn can you teach us how you set up your pedals in order? Sweet tone and now Im a fan!
Hey, thanks so much.
GTR-Tuner-Comp-Chime-Blue Note-45cal-GTO-Volume Pedal-Flint-Timeline-Amp.
Really cool dude, which board are you using ?
thanks!
Trailer Trash Flat Trash board with shelf. Thanks Mark.
This video is one I watched most out of all your videos, playing and tone are 2nd to NONE! Could I ask, are you running tremolo into Reverb or Reverb into Tremolo?
Thanks very much! I running trem > verb.
Curious what pedal board you're using to house all of these gems? Cheers, thanks, and amazing work!
Hey, thanks for the question and the kind words. That board is made by a company called TrailerTrash. That model is called the Flat Trash. The shelf is sold separately in different sizes.
Beautiful sounds Shawn. Not sure what the Pettyjohn does.
The PJ is the first sound you hear, the really light drive. I think it sounds beautiful ;)
James Russo maybe like an RC Booster? I keep mine on almost on all the time. This type of board would be great for my clubdate gig as well
More an overdrive than a boost, it will color the sound more than the RC booster for sure.
James Russo on my list for sure!
WOuld love to hear your comparision on the older Guthrie Trapp vs the new GTO.
