Ok the Tilt is a great pairing with my Revv G20 amp: Channel 1 of G20 with Master Volume dimed gives a slight breakup. Add Tilt drive for great crunch tone. Then I hit the Tilt with a Keeley Katana for more. That covers most gain needs for me. If I need even more for big lead or heavy rock, Channel 2 on the amp sometimes with the Katana is all I need. Now, the Tilt EQ boost!!! I don’t know what wizardry Shawn and Revv put in here, but it is magical for neck pickup tones. I primarily use a PRS, and that Tilt EQ makes my neck humbucker sound like the dream strat neck tone I’ve always had in my head (but it’s a humbucker)!! I don’t think it will ever leave the board for that button alone! Great work! LOVE IT!!
Hey Shawn! Great video! I have found that the Tilt really interacts very well with other gain pedals. The other thing I have found with the Tilt is it’s ability to retain the true character of whatever guitar I plug into it. This is true for the boost side and the drive side and combined. I’ve had to track several leads on different projects lately and hearing the true quality of the guitar going through the Tilt has made it a winner for me.

the filament is sick man i really dig that its brutal in its own right, Iam wearing headphones great metal sound with out splintering the ear drums lol the Tilt is awesome u can really sculpt the vibe u want awesome pedal platform😃😈💥🤘
My tilt is my new main low to medium drive sound. I have a dark matter distortion for when I need a little more (though that will probably be the next to change) and I'm using the boost from the tilt in place of my mxr booster mini. The mxr is great and the hidden EP preamp inside can make for some awesome sounds but I like the tilt boost better. I find that I will change the drive settings on my tilt more than any other pedal that has come before it because I like how it sounds throughout the sweep of the gain.
A bit late but just ordered your Revv tilt overdrive. The big guy. You’re such a great guitarists and laid back , nice guy. You should have way more subs Shawn. It’ll happen. Plus, you really describe the pedal exactly the way it should be described.
