as much as your home in the mountains is lovely & peaceful, you're not really used to it so you need to get back to where you were before, especially after a few months as they say, a change is as good as a holiday, perhaps all you need to do is learn a new craft or get into more gardening or something ... I can't see the appeal of visiting a city, am always a country girl myself you will eventually settle into the mountain life but it will take time, have enjoyed your time away thanx for sharing
We’ve been living in the countryside for a few years now, so the city is definitely more overwhelming now. But it is true that we still need a brake from the country once in while. When the home is more comfortable and we have hobbies it’ll be difficult to get us out ☺️♥️
What a wonderful trip you both had that day. It is very interesting to see the French Disneyland. The only time I have visited Disneyland in Anaheim, CA was with my son in 1978 when he was 8 yrs. old. My late husband and I also were in Paris in the early ‘80s and walked the steps in Montmartre to visit the Sacré Coeur. I loved watching your visit to the antique district and shops. And, the food looked delicious!
It's so cool to think about how we share similar experiences but at such different moments in time and in our lives. Thanks for sharing your memories with us ❤
