    Depends on what kind of riding you do! I could see any of their models working with differing riding styles. If in doubt, the double bubble has been the favorite for most people. -CK

    If you are a taller rider or want more coverage from the wind, then the ST is a good option for your ZX6R. ~Ali

    I have a Zero Gravity Corsa on my ZX6R and a Sport Touring on my KLR650. I've been very happy with them. -Hi-Viz Brian

    Awesome! The DoubleBubble looks so great on. We used one of our Gear Geeks bikes' for the footage of the mounted screens. He liked the way the DoubleBubble looked so much on his Gixxer, he picked one up to keep. ~Ali

    I'm not surprised to hear the screen is a little small for your 6'3" frame, but the Double Bubble does offer the best aerodynamics of all the Zero Gravity screens. ~Ali

    Nice vid. Glade you had a side-by-side of the light smoke vs. dark smoke.

    Unfortunately, this windscreen could fall under our "oversized item" restriction for International Shipping. Give our Gear Geeks a call (or email) for availability or to check on shipping overseas. ~Ali

    like my dubble bubble on my zx-14 but I thought it'd be the best of both worlds. turned out to be the opposite. It's really difficult to get under for me (6'3") however I thought it wouldn't be as performance orianted. Give up some performance get more touring. I was wrong it was just as good or better then OEM, kinda leaning more to better. I couldn't find a corsa for my bike when I was buying. Don't know if they make it but I'm happy with my double bubble and it was really inexpensive.

    Is it a safety feature that they break upon impact? Like f1/indy cars? They are made to literally disintegrate on impact to minimize large pieces flying around after a crash.

    Will any of these help me ride on the freeway without having to lay on my tank? Or is that going to have to be my default freeway position no matter which windscreen I get? I am not a tall guy, about 5 and a half feet tall so will that matter? How can I tell what exactly how these windscreens will deflect the air around me?? I don't want to have to tuck behind my windscreen on the freeway unless I want to

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This will depend on your bike. On my SV650S the Zero Gravity Double Bubble was significantly taller than the stock screen and totally changed how the bike feels on the highway. There are a lot of variables, though, such as your bike's stock screen height, your own height, what riding positions you find most comfortable, and your helmet that will determine what windscreen works for you. It might be best to talk to a gear geek about it!

    Does every sport touring Modell has this slight lip at the top for every bike or are there differences between each bike modell?

    I have a 06 r1 and I use it to commute every day, I commute at high speeds and I love to race the bike all the time so I need a do it all(the middle man) kind of windscreen, what I’m saying is I want something that will reduce the air drag on the highway in an upright position while also maintaining good aerodynamics. would that be the double bubble?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly, I'd go for the sport touring. It's just a bit taller than the Double Bubble but is still aerodynamic and will help with the wind. -DrewZilla

    Recently received my ST zero gravity shield for my Yamaha XJ6F (same as FZ6). Perfect fit and beautiful finish. 6 easy screws to replace in matter of minutes. The new ZG shield takes the wind blast out of my chest fully, which the stock wind screen did not. With the ZG the wind blast hits now about at the height of the base of my helmet (a very quiet Schuberth C3 Pro) but wind noise from the helmet now is significantly up. I stand up at 80 kph and the noise goes down. Sit back and the wind noise comes up. Why is that?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Patricio Silva You're directing more air towards your helmet, so it's likely to be louder. When you stand up, the helmet is in "cleaner" air with less turbulence. -DrewZilla

    do these come with their own screws and rubber mounting tips where the screws go in ? i ordered separate ones for my bike and they dont mount on right.

    • @RevZilla

      i only ask bc my stock ones rubber mount things that the screw mounts in to kind of melted and when i tried to wedge it out they tore off. so i bought new ones from amazon but the screws arent long enough like the stock ones so they keep coming off at the top end

    I have a Puig DB currently but am considering switching to a Zero Gravity DB. Are there any differences other than thickness or material? '06 ZX-6r

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are pretty similar. I tried the DB on my '06 ZX6R and decided to go with the Zero Gravity Corsa windscreen because it added a little more height without looking out of place. I linked a picture of mine below. -Hi-Viz Brian

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's personal preference. SR is the same as stock, while the Corsa is the tallest. The Double Bubble is between the two in height. For the most wind protection, go with the Corsa. -DrewZilla

    can you see anything with the dark smoke

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the dark smoke tint is similar to a dark smoke face shield. If you're looking through a dark smoke face shield as well as through the dark smoke windscreen, then it would be more difficult to see. -DrewZilla

    Sorry but I have to say it. I ordered one and it’s trash. The holes that the screws go through to mount to the factory nose fairing aren’t even lined up, had to use a dremel to make the hole bigger so the screws would line up….. the screen itself looks like crap with scratching and swirls all over it and foggy, there’s no rubber anti vibration pads in it, it makes the bike nose vibrate like hell with a terrible noise, and EVEN THE ZG DECAL is crooked as hell so I couldn’t even leave it on to let everyone know it was ZG. It was literally turned counter-clockwise like 30 degrees. Complete trash. And mine was already all scuffed up like hell. I don’t know where you got those clean shiny props you’re showing as windscreens but mine didn’t look like those. It looked like someone tied it to the back of a truck and drug it a few miles down the highway.
