Maybe this is just me being stubborn but I doubt that the one above all isn't the most powerful entity un Marvel comics. With the appearance of the One Below all which seems to just be The One Above All's grumpy side the crown could just be an exploration of it's aspects.
I'm so confused now. Was the Lost One the most powerful being that basically was a beyonder god? Or were the Celestials the ones who created the Lost One, or well I'm so confused. Like the celestials are among the cosmic entities but the cosmic entities got massacred by the beyonders who were made by the Lost One who was made by the Celestials?
The Celestials created the Lost One for the specific purpose of being able to destroy them, in the event that they went to war with each other again (as the last time they did that, it destroyed the "omniverse"). The Beyonders possess the power that the Lost One once possessed (each has a fraction of that power, so the Lost One at peak was stronger than any one Beyonder but about as strong as all Beyonders combined), and were given a special role in maintaining the universe, either by the Celestials or by some greater power (presumably The One Above All). Now the Lost One wants its power back, and apparently understands it well enough to take it back, despite not having much power of its own anymore.

All of these monstrously powerful beings and cosmic entities usually draw power from a specific source that is usually infinite. Some of these beings and stronger or weaker than the other. Some aren’t really powerful at all and more just long lasting and invulnerable by circumstance. My question is, are there any of these beings or entities that draw from multiple sources? It would just be insane to get a character that is powered by the totality of all the different crazy power sources. It may just be confirmation bias, but it seems that in each video when bringing up a superhero they are listed by “made up name”, given name for the first time. This is what I don't like like about current day Marvel, there is no heirarchy anymore. Just a decade or so ago you can create conflict and still be within the realms certain equal power levels, now it's just trying to one up each other and not establishing proper order. Back then you know Captain America could never take on a Celestial without using something like the Infinity Gauntlet but now you don't know anymore. Now this story I could have bought if they were still created inside the Multiverse, but since establishing in the Hickman Secret Wars back in 2015 that they were made outside(the Beyonders and in essence the Lost One) then they can just basically body anybody, but is still in the sphere of TOAA's influence. It was better in my opinion that back in the day whatever it was that it's either a plan by the TOAA(like the Heart of the Universe) or can be curbstomped by the TOAA if the entity so wishes since it is still the entity's creation. But now even the TOAA isn't the TOAA anymore technically. I like Al Ewing's take on the birth and rebirths of the Multiverse, and he even respected that heirarchy until recently when he introduced that Crown Above All Things incident. Like come on man, you can create conflict and stories without convoluting the lore even further.
The power scale here makes no sense. How can a being that can single handily wipe out all celestial beings get punched by captain America and feel it (before the celestial blood stupidity. Also why blood? and from all things, a celestial blood? you know the thing that doesn’t actually have a body and even if it did have a body, why would it have to have blood? It’s a celestial being!). And why would captain America and all the other more earthly hero’s think that a being that can flatten Captain Marvel would feel anything they’d throw at him. Maybe it’s a comic thing and it’s been a while since I’ve come back to this channel. FYI I still love the work you do @ComicsExplained, it’s just the source material that makes no sense, am I missing something? Is this how it’s always been?
In reality really don't know what that crown mean what can be a vision that one above all was showing him just to confuse them there's no evidence proving that the one above all isn't the strongest
Marvel uses Omniverse, Multiverse, Universe, Dimension, and Timeline as the same thing and for separate things. They treat them as the same and different at once lol
This is so goofy. If this dude can stand against Beyonders, there would be no reason to fight Avengers in hand-to-hand combat. When Thanos had the gauntlet back in the day, the only reason he dimmed his abilities and fought the heroes was to impress Death. Starlin actually had a clever way to give the heroes a very, very slim chance to defeat infinite Thanos. There's no motivation for that here. It's not even half as clever as Hickman's Avengers' run, and yet it uses that run to retcon in a (shocker) NEW godlike being who is (shocker) SO much more powerful than the Beyonders. 'Remember that OP character from back in the day? Well, they're like pee-squat compared to THIS new OP character. BOOM. WINNING.' Subpar creators should not attempt cosmic retcons. And yet, all Marvel seems to have are subpar creators working for them. There's nothing clever about this goofy looking villain, either - I mean, he looks like one of those crazy, armored up villains I was drawing in the fifth grade. Man, I hate being a hater. I love the Big Two, but I'm at the point where this is how I have to look at storylines that come from Marvel or DC: There are runs by certain creators over the years that stand out. I think of these as universes unto themselves. Often, the really smart ones use the Big Two's history to craft something really special. Then, there's the rest of the dreck the Big Two mass produces, crappy retcons and bad drama in bad stories that are ultimately forgettable.
i am not against change in comic books but I don't like them making a being above the one above all that's either Jack Kirby or Stan lee either way I really do like one of those 2 the most powerful force of marvel comics
I hate everything about this, but I hate the way this new Omnipotent x 100 billion + looks. He looks like a character in an MMO who hasn't been playing for very long and is just collecting a bunch or random pieces of armor.
To me marvel authors the new one's just throw out so many new characters saying how powerful they are without really explaining who they are their just there.
They can never write around power like this very well. Why didn't he just scan their minds for true answers?`Why doesn't he just snap his fingers and turn them into houseplants? He can restore an entire city and resurrect tens of thousands of people from death - but against the avengers all he can do is punch them? And not even knock them out, just basically hurt them a little... It just doesn't add up.
only primate brain would think stuffs like this cool after oh so many times. But I guess someone had to save the comics from a better storytelling medium out there by hyping the crap out of stuff like this
Yeah... an easy fix for the Celestial/Lost one retcon is to make the Lost one a type of Celestial but on steroids (his original form is not that far apart)
Effectively, the 1st Firmament created the Celestials who in turn beat him and the Aspirants, then the Celestials created the Beyonders and the Lost One, which apparently are so powerful, they destroy all the Celestials and all other cosmic entities. It seems like extremely stupid writing.

Marvel should have never screwed with the placement of TOAA and The Living Tribunal because all they're effectively doing is creating another being that might as well be called TOAA. It makes no difference except that they want this new being to be more interactive.
OMG look how strong the Beyonder is. oh i've been cut. GGWP...
Best way to watch Rob's videos is at 1.25x speed.
I used 1.75
The power scale here makes no sense.
I feel like the eternal's Probably coulf have been helpful
Like ikon this time of day we are weird and hateful and think we right when we wrong don’t make sure
34 min vid let’s goooo
In reality really don't know what that crown mean what can be a vision that one above all was showing him just to confuse them there's no evidence proving that the one above all isn't the strongest
hope this celestials more powerful than beyonders never appear in MCU
wait how did the beholders kill the living tribunal?
Even more importly, why?
Lol the beholders
@@pimpinjt123 autocorrect lol
BOOM. WINNING.'
Subpar creators should not attempt cosmic retcons.
Rob, have you read Homestuck?😊
I loved the original secret wars. Hopefully, they abandon this storyline and pretend it never happened
i am not against change in comic books but I don't like them making a being above the one above all that's either Jack Kirby or Stan lee either way I really do like one of those 2 the most powerful force of marvel comics
Is this a repost bro
@ComicsExplained__DM what do you have the infinity gauntlet
All this until a more ancient, more powerful character is created .
How many omnipotent characters does marvel need?
You rock
I hate everything about this, but I hate the way this new Omnipotent x 100 billion + looks. He looks like a character in an MMO who hasn't been playing for very long and is just collecting a bunch or random pieces of armor.
Didn't Blue Marvel one shot a Beyonder.
Lost one on those black af1 vibes
"The One Above.....Some" 🙄
Hickmans avengers/new avenger
To me marvel authors the new one's just throw out so many new characters saying how powerful they are without really explaining who they are their just there.
Been waiting for this one
Where is this story set in regards to fall of x? Everything is all over the place right now
They can never write around power like this very well.
Someone more powerful than everyone else, again. 😮💨
yeah it gets tiring.
Seems like DC has had a lot of the same. It's a shame. It reminds me of the body snatcher trope Shadowrun can't seem to shake.
Same with DC
only primate brain would think stuffs like this cool after oh so many times. But I guess someone had to save the comics from a better storytelling medium out there by hyping the crap out of stuff like this
Im all for creative and intelligent uses of powers winning battles rather than just “new God-tier power beats all”
Creating an antagonist so ridiculous that it turns the whole story into a giant awkward plot contrivance is really great storytelling™
Yeah... an easy fix for the Celestial/Lost one retcon is to make the Lost one a type of Celestial but on steroids (his original form is not that far apart)
I liked the Beyonder better when he had that old school jheri curl.
Gotta keep upping those power levels. This feels a bit like a DC story.
The satellite bluff reminded me exactly of the scene when Batman armed all the hell spores and threatened Darkside.
“ I could swim on the surface of the sun. I could fly though a black hole, I could shatter a moon with my fist.” He basically said he’s Superman lol
Effectively, the 1st Firmament created the Celestials who in turn beat him and the Aspirants, then the Celestials created the Beyonders and the Lost One, which apparently are so powerful, they destroy all the Celestials and all other cosmic entities.
It seems like extremely stupid writing.
there must be an ongoing bet in marvell, as to who will create the most morronic story ever. from the looks of it, it's still going strong.

I remember reading the original secret wars, my dad handed them down to me and they were absolutely fantastic. We knew about characters like galactus but the Beyonder was a new brand of character
@
I want to be able to do this with my kids one day... your dad sounds cool...
I handed mine down to my daughter's, I grew up in the 80's. They absolutely love the og comics.
It's like when writers write themselves into a deadend, so they introduce a bluff to get themselves out
Marvel should have never screwed with the placement of TOAA and The Living Tribunal because all they're effectively doing is creating another being that might as well be called TOAA. It makes no difference except that they want this new being to be more interactive. TOAA should have just been the hands-off creator of all things, the Genesis, but not an active participant in things.
Marvel may as well say, that the Celestials created TOAA at this point.
I disagree. We need some explanations.
If celestial energy can kill him, wouldn’t Galactus energy? He had one shot celestials before
apparently those celestials are different . galacuts is weakling ant compared to beyonder Xd
The first thing I thought when I saw the lost one was how he looks like the brothers from Marvel vs. Dc.
