Rob ive been watching you since waaaay back before you got big and i want to know if you would consider making your own comic with completely new charicters the works....you have the resources and connections im sure to do something small to start out with...like the greats did back when your perspective on the comic world in general tells me you would do it right and even down the road never compremise on quality...you can do it digital....find really awesom voice actors....dope new age animators with new and differet styles that havnt been done yet....if youve done this and ive somehow missed it i appologize....i mean it more of a complement to you....
I agree; Rob's talent, wealth of knowledge about the subject matter, and infectious enthusiasm would have so much potential for that, in fact the only real complaint I've ever had about Rob is that I wish he'd buy a thesaurus and use adjectives other than 'amazing' and 'dope'.

I think they should’ve said that Thor’s mom was a human who was serving as the avatar for both Gaia AND the Phoenix Force due to some threat out there (possibly a rogue Celestial or something). That way, they could explain the inconsistency and leave the door open for Thor to get new powers later. Also, I think Black Panther with the Phoenix Force would be AMAZING (and im partially convinced he would vaporize most of Atlantis similar to how Namor flooded Wakanda)
The Phoenix Force is not the mother of Thor. The first host of the force is the mother. Not the same thing

Shang Chi knows every fighting style in the world. He is the master of kung fu but its not like he doesn't know Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, etc. He is certainly a better hand to hand fighter than Captain America, though Cap is still top 3 in Marvel. Shang Chi is the best hand to hand fighter in the marvel universe

Only real downside is that Shang chi only can use his chi power in one dimension and other than the 10 rings doesn’t really have super powers so even hero’s without much training but a ton of hacks and abilities could probably body him the rings are a major balancer though
@@MementoMori1000 I get that, but remember. Shang-Chi is so good at martial arts that his skill IS considered a superpower. Plus, with the five weapons society now, he has a lot more weapons, money and resources at his disposal. the 10 rings are probably enough for him to deal with most threats at that level. I'd say that Shang-Chi can defeat somewhat well trained characters with hax like Hawkeye or Black Widow(if he can avoid her symbiote).

He say “This type of thing pisses off comic fans.” Yeah, for good reason, because it’s just horribly bad/lazy writing. If someone put this in a fanfic they wrote they would be laughed out of the room.
I hated this entire run, and this arc was an example of why. The plot is moving at a breakneck pace with no room to explore near anything about it. Namor somehow kicks off the battle and is only given a like a page of "Yea I started all this!" fucking somehow, and then everybody fights. You give all these characters the power of the phoenix, and just have them fight eachother. How did their powers change? Fuck if I know. Echo gets the phoenix force, how does her powers change? Exactly, she just looks like any other person using the phoenix force.
Aaron did this with the moonknight story too. I mean, you give a HULK the IRONFIST, and then just use it to have She Hulk punch a jobber in a splash panel.
Aaron's avengers run after the first handful of issues became this coke fueled high speed run where nothing had a moment to breathe and explore, and concepts like this were just tossed out and then moved on from.

The Phoenix Force is the creation force, the big bang and the last fire that will consume everything.
It grants its host every possible power, from vast psychic powers to manipulating space, time and reality to manipulating life and death.
I loved the original story where only Omega level psychics could be the host of the Phoenix Force bcz it takes great mental ability to contain the force. Now anybody can become a Phoenix..
Btw the Phoenix Force isnt the mother of Thor. Its the first human host of the Phoenix Force who is. His mother is Phoenix which means she was beyond human or mutation, she became a cosmic being.

I have a questions unrelated but i hope you find it and answer it. I found out - they retcon NIghtcrawler - to Be a coupling of Mystique and Destiny or her blind lover. So mystiaue turns into a dude and makes her pregnant and nightcrawler comes out. So does that mean - She could have turned into Jean Grey and Coupled with Cyclops to make Cable too? Or goblin queen.

In terms of martial arts in comparison to the real world, a jack of all trades is usually better than a master of one style. MMA has proven this and made the argument mute. The styles that make up the basic fundamentals of MMA are good on their own but if put into a fight with someone trained in MMA, odds are in favor of the one in MMA. Also traditional martial arts do not stack up to the martial arts that make up MMA like boxing, wrestling styles, jui jitsu styles, Muay thai, sambo, etc. They get dismantled. They have good aspects but not in an actual fight does the style alone as a whole hold up.
In terms of comic logic, shang chi is probably the best fighter
Also when I say traditional styles I'm referencing style like karate, kung fu, and those that made martial arts more widely popular
Nah u have a severe misunderstanding of combat ..the expert wins against the guy who knows a little about a lot...MMA fighters only fight ppl with the exact same UFC endorsed skillset which is why the fights have been boring since they bought Pride etc

This is the most evolved fighting has EVER been. If you think it's boring, then you don't train, nor understand all aspects of fighting, so you fail to recognize and appreciate the chess matches we're blessed with today. I've trained for 33 years, and have watched every UFC event live since UFC 2. It's my life.

Machida was the champ, undefeated, until he lost to Shogun (from Chute Boxe) using Muay Thai, BJJ, etc...also Jon Jones (expert striker, college wresting champ, Jiu-Jitsu, etc)...Rockhold (Stand-up fighter with devastating kicks and insane wrestling & submissions)... then as he aged, like all fighters do, Machida lost to various fighters who were also MUTLISKILLED.
ALSO...Machida, himself, was a Master of many forms: Karate, Sumo, BJJ, Judo, etc.

Wolverine should have definitely beat black panther, it would take more than those teeth to block those claws, wolverine could have bent his arm slightly to avoid the teeth n still penetrate his brain, but writers don’t like wolverine cause he’s popular so he losses to everyone, which is wrong
black panther was always above wolverine, and he has anti metal which melts any metal on contact. Black panther being serious would have completely destroyed the adamantium skeleton if he wanted to. Plus, wolverine off guarded him, he would never have gotten that opportunity if the phoenix wasn't distracting Black panther

I'm not a comic book buff, but I have a couple of questions in regards to Hyperion being Marvel's "Superman".
First, from some videos I watched here I was under the impression that Sentry was the closest? Not that I know much about either of them, TBH.
And secondly, from the Avengers Assemble animated series, I was under the impression that Hyperion was a bad dude - what's his actual allegiance?

Comics suck now. Before, you had character development and creative storytelling. Now, it's down to the same few characters going through stories that sound like a child came up with the premises. What if the X-men had the Phoenix Force? What if the Avengers had the Phoenix Force? What if the Avengers all had powered armour? What if Doctor Doom was the Sorcerer Supreme? What if Wolverine had flame claws? Etc. Etc.
I really wish Marvel would focus on new characters and develop them.
I had a lot of those early black panther comics from the 60s and 70s and even though they were written kind of black flirtation they were still written well for the.period.
I was the weirdest comic fan alive I thought because my three favorites were the vision black panther and the Scarlet Witch.
When Vision left and the Scarlet Witch left shortly before the whole Hank pin smacking the Was fiasco, I stopped reading The avengers for quite a while and it had been my favorite since I was since I first picked up a comic

Where is John Byrne destroyed the vision in Scarlet witch on convinced simply because he had a crush on Wanda and was sickened by the fact that she was with a synthezoid. I Love Burns artwork with the X-Men but I think he has some serious emotional issues and will never forgive him for killing my favorite characters by stripping them of everything that made them interesting and heroic
Hyperion only has this particular level of power. Because his race can only attain that power when they have a pure unadulterated purpose. By getting that power, it adulterated his purpose.

In actual Mythology The Phoenix Symbology is the same as the Odin Character, depicting the same phenomena from the point-of-view of different Civilisations... ergo The Phoenix would be Thor's Dad.

What happened to Kazar?
It’s not that flimsy.
I had a stats professor in college who spoke in the third person during class. I think he did it partially as a joke because he didn’t do it outside of class. I remember him coming in day one saying “here in Dr. Swanson’s class we will bring doing…” and the guy beside me turned and said “is he not dr Swanson?” And it wasn’t for about 10-15 minutes before we got confirmation he was the professor and not just an assistant. Sorry haha just got reminded of this.
