Great to see more e-bike manufactures, making an e-bike motor requires a bit of know-how and experience to make it good but it's not THAT hard. We need more players in the market.
Quite a few different companies starting to pop up non. Check this video Steve made all about the motor tech we saw at Eurobike this year 👉 embn.me/eurobike213
Imagine being able to have full access to do whatever you like with a product that you own outright (Derestrict an emtb motor), I hope more frame builders adopt this motor and the ethos of Polini.
Thanks for bringing this Fantastic video and a great company , something special about the people in the Bergamo area for 2 wheels , big history and passion , I worked there a lot with World Enduro team Farioli KTM , Great times .
A motor you can repair and update the firmware yourself. I ride the Polini motor (in my Bianchi race bike) for over 2 years now and am still very happy with it! Like said in the video I also do not understand why so little bike brands use this great motor.
The user serviceable factor is something that all brands should do, there's a lot of issues with the way motor service procedure right now, almost made me quit the ebike, and bike sport. I have two instances when I have to wait 3 and 2 months without my bicycle, if your a bike rider you now how much exasperating this is, for example, I got a 550 erro on a bosch gen4 and miss my December and January plans, no good. I'm switching to polini as soon as I can, there is a local distributor that do full service on them LOCALLY! That's a game changer for me.
Great to see more people in the market. Hopefully the price will get better some day. 15k bicycles is ridiculous. Love my YT great bike at a little more reasonable price.
Thought they would have given a guided tour with a more in-depth explanation of the assembly rather than letting you wonder around pointing to random part bins.
Answer from Shimano regarding my broken E8000 engine from my Canyon spectral 9.0 = buy a new one. I did. Now have an Ep8 engine on my Orbea Rise. My next bike should not have Shimano, it should have an engine that there are spare parts to buy for AS A PRIVATE PERSON😉
hello, which engine for you do you think consumes less battery, the bosch cx4 or the yamaha of giant? I have a bosch with 625 and I am afraid to do fewer kilometers if I change the engine with the same battery, it would be for enduro, rock climbs etc etc
I have a Problem that no one appears to know how to fix with the battery fully charged and in the on position all lights are on on the battery all lights on on the e-p3 controller when signal sent to drive the motor the motor either does not operate or may operate for a short period. At one stage < 10% signal appeared and has not after switching off has not reappeared . Several Bianchi outlets have attempted repair but do not appear to know what has cause the problem . A replacement control wire proved successful for a few hundred mile but the fault has reappeared. Your assistance would be appreciated

I love the passion the personnel from Polini is radiating. I can’t wait to try that motor in real life.
You’ve got to love the Italian passion.

Ciocc also offers road an mountainbikes with the polini motor. The speedkit to unrestrict the engine is delivered with the bike.

Wow! Great/interesting video! Thanks Steve!
Great to hear you like it John!

Good looking clean facility. Motor has some impressive specs, hope to see them on more bikes and be able to try one out.

Glad you enjoyed it, was a wonderful trip for us!
Very good video. I'am a big fan of Polini. Bought in the past allot of stuf for scooters, always quality products.
Well done, would like to see more factory tours.
No part 2??! We want more polini!
Forza Italia 🇮🇹

Am I right in saying Bianchi no longer make a bike with the Polini motor?
@@Peakwanderer I do not know for sure but I think Bianchi indeed does not use the Polini motor anymore.
@@Ludo_A I'd probably buy a Bianchi if they make them again, lots of bike brands do use the motor, but sadly none are really present here in the UK.

It was only a quick visit and people were working etc... The random part bins and prototypes were pretty cool though right?
In Wrocław, Poland there is a factory owned by Bafang. Maybe this facility is worth visiting as well?
At last a motor you can repair. Take note shimano with your throw away product

How is it when shopping on-line you are offered Bafang units by default??
