People are saying that rock music doesn't sound good through the Sibelius. That it's better suited for acoustic music, small jazz combos, string quartets, etc. I am very curious as to what your findings will be!
Here is a sound clip of Led Zeppelin… using 300B amp, speakers are too far out in the room with this amp. They lose about 10-15% of bass energy. But its still very good. They sound better when speakers are a bit pushed back near the walls. It makes for more power in the bass. th-cam.com/video/79A3Ci_edPY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5ycRNSCJD3uk-7sP
@hificave lobster season is from may 15th to July 15th. Ya still have time! You show up we'll get 8 two pounders and have a feast out back! Bring the family, we have a cottage that would work perfectly! Get the audio " production guy " out too! Love to see you out here, truly! Cheers bud!
45hz at -3db or so with a 300b amplifier 5 feet in the room, 40hz 3 feet in the room. And 37hz at -3db with a 211 amplifier positionned about 3.5 feet in the room
@@MasterofPlay7 Maybe, I find Speakers that try and do 20hz under 25k price tag usually just get messy in the bottom end. In my opinion, 35 hz and under is “dedicated bass driver and amplification territory”. If a cabinet is producing quality sound under 35hz the amount of bracing and material absorption design required not to smear the upper frequency from the vibrations is very costly to make and I personally dont want my source of bass in that low range to be in the same position as the rest of the frequency band.
Songer S1 open field coil 😊
Hifi Cave! Keep it up, some of the if not the bast hifi videos on TH-cam! Period.
Lol wow!!! 🍻

@@totalplonker824 it does not, because the tonal balance is better, so better bass, better depth. Its contextual to this speaker
