As some teams use salary cap increases to give underperforming QBs even more money & pay elite WRs over $30M while trying to string arm the other 50 players into low contracts, lots of good players won’t have teams. Of course the Broncos are paying Russ Wilson $37 million to play for the Steelers. Since they play each other this season it will be interesting to see which team Russ will help win that game. 😂

As a Bears fan who's used to seeing either bad O Lines, or O Lines with no depth, I want nothing to do with Bahktiari lol. It would be the most Bears thing ever though if they sign someone who's constantly injured and hasn't played in years.

He was a great player, but he is just recovering from all the leg and hip issues and lingering injuries that would not heal. I think he is one of those guys whose body is used up physically.
I'm especially concerned since Jets GM Aaron Rodgers went for injury-prone veteran Tyron Smith and Olu Fashanu in the draft instead of his buddy Bahktiari
I hope the Raiders sign renfrow to a prove it deal, but if not I hope he goes to any team that will actually give him the ball. Loved watching renfrow.

As a Chiefs fan--i can confirm, justin simmons is a DAWG. He has intercepted mahomes more than any other single player. And i played safety all growing up, so i always admire really good safety play. And simmons is just that-- great ball skills, solid in coverage, and not only very much willing, but also effective in run support. Hated that he was always a bronco. Glad he's finally gone from Denver

Its like going into a season someone has to prove that they're not washed up and then they do good but then they're just a year older and have to do the same thing next year until they eventually actually become washed

I would like to point out that 3rd and Renfrow didn't come from the Raiders or in the pros, it came from his time in college where Clemson refused to throw to anyone else on third down and won 2 national titles doing just that.

As a Cowboys fan, though I would welcome signing Hunter Renfroe, I actually see the logic behind not signing him. We would have to commit to him as the slot receiver, and we like to find ways to get Ceedee Lamb in the slot. It could work out, Lamb can more than produce on the outside, but it just robs us of a little flexibility.

As a Dolphins fan I’d warn every team to stay away from Howard. He’s injury prone, constant legal issues and he’s just a royal pain in the ass. Also weird how the safety market is going the way of the rb market last season. I feel the bulk of teams that overpaid for rbs will regret it this season in all honesty. Safety is different for me. Some of the best defenses of all time.had ridiculous safety play. Some of my favorite players all time are safetys.

I think teams know that a good safety is the key to a good backfield. The same goes for RB's, everyone knows a great RB adds so much to a team. The problem with RB's is saturation, the fact that some guy from Anywhere Small College will be just as good as a guy you might take in the 2nd round, the fact their careers are short, do to being used up so much, and the rookie contract being 4 years mean you can just use them up and then move on. I'm not sure what the safety issue is, probably saturation, the position always seems to have a lot of free agents lately.

As a Clemson fan, Renfrow was an NFL HOF player on January 19th, 2017. Everything after that is icing on the cake. Too bad he had to go to the Raiders tho. That's where Clemson WR's go to die. See Jacoby Ford (one of the fastest people i have ever seen)
Renfrow hasn’t been the same since the overtime game when he caught the ball, turned and got lit up, fumbled the football and the other team ran it all the way in the end zone. He never regained that form

To be fair Wes Welker caught balls down the middle when you were still able to blow up the receivers, that’s why he had all those concussions. He was a DAWG. And the new kickoff rule doesn’t help the returner it helps prevent injuries. If they moved the kicker 10 yds back then now we’re talking good returns
Renfrow was good with Gruden because Renfrow was allowed to alter his routes. I always figured McDaniels wanted him to stick to the routes as scripted, and that was the disconnect.
Go look at Michael Thomas numbers with teddy bridgewater at Qb…. Mike was elite regardless of the QB and drew is my favorite Qb of all time

Bakhtiari was awesome, no doubt... but it is over... The knee has never been right... He barely plays... Even in the games he plays, he might get 20 snaps....
It's really a shame.... 4th round pick, our left tackle goes down, we threw him in there in pure desperation... and he was amazing. So, to say we got lucky on him, is a huge understatement.... Nobody finds a perennial all pro left tackle late in the 4th round....
So yeah, he made a lotta money the last couple years, but we had him for nothing in his prime, so.....
As much as it pains me, he is done. He couldn't pass a physical if he had to...

I know everybody loves Hunter Renfro, but reality of it is dude is a slot receiver pretty much only. So it makes him a difficult fit
Most teams if they have any set slot it’s usually a second or third year guy late round draft pick so he could still play some specials
Gilmore is not only an all time great, but would be amazing for any locker room as well. He is a quite, mature, and low drama player. Always has been.
He forced his way out of Indy, but it was not done dramatically.

As a dolphins fan I knew nobody would sign Howard. Dude was the highest paid cb and within a year wanted a pay raise and sat out while never living up to the original contract. He def deserved the first one but then fell off a cliff with groin injuries and mind boggling legal problems
