Regarding the fear LeBron wanted to be liked, MJ played like he wanted to rip your heart out.

During LeBron's prime run in Cleveland, Miami and Cleveland (2006-2018), he was 16-9 against 50+ win teams in the playoffs, and 2-4 against 60+ win teams. However, during Jordan's prime run in Chicago (1987-93/1995-98), he was 20-5 against 50+ win teams and 7-1 against 60+ win teams. In 11 seasons, Jordan won more games against 50+ win teams than LeBron did in 13. He also played the same number of 50+ win teams, despite playing in 3 less playoffs. And completely blew LeBron out of the water when going up against 60+ win teams. Let's be real, how many teams who were legitimately championship caliber did LeBron prevent from winning a ring? Boston? Nope. They got their's, and by the time LeBron finally beat them, they were over the hill. The Bulls? C'mon, that team was D-Rose or bust on offense, and even after 2011, Rose's prime was robbed via injury. The Thunder? If the core actually stayed together past 2012, then maybe, but that didn't happen. The Thunder were in their infancy and hadn't hit their prime, and before they could do anything else, Harden was dealt. The Hawks led by Al fucking Horford and Paul Millsap and didn't have a single player score more than 17 ppg? I'd argue that LeBron has allowed more lesser championship pedigree teams to win it than he has prevented (see the '11 Mavs). Meanwhile, who did Jordan prevent? The Ewing/Starks led Knicks. The Shaq/Penny Magic. The Barkley/Johnson Suns. The Stockton/Malone Jazz. The Payton/Kemp Sonics. You had HoF players, MVP-caliber players who were denied championships. Sure, Shaq got his in LA, but that's it. The rest ended their careers ringless.
the best team mj played in the finals was the jazz no bulls opponent in the finals won a chip lakers were over the hill...especially magic.... lebron faced arguably the 2 greatest teams of all time in the spurs and the warriors beating the 72 warriors... theres no deny lebron could bring a bad team to the finals MJ never did that
@kidpoker9408 LEBRON didn't do anything. Lebron and Kyrie and Love went to the finals. They played the warriors, Lebron Wade, and Bosh played the spurs. Stop trying to compare lebron and MJ when Lebron team hopped and played with 2 or 3 other top 10 players from his era each time he went to a different team. Who cares about his triple doubles. Or Individual stats. How many finals did he win? MJ played against more 60-win and 50-win teams altogether. The reason he didn't beat a champion is because he didn't allow teams to win. The Knicks should have had one, Phoenix should have had one, Houston got one when he retired when Pippen should have gotten them one. Lebron is not MJ with his losing finals record.
@@kidpoker9408MJ had 10 triple doubles in an 11 game stretch when asked to play point guard. Shocked to see people defending lBj still. If he had beaten the spurs in 2007 he would have had a chance at being the Goat. That was a winable series FOR A GOAT.

I played a pickup game against MJ at UNC and I was overly confident even though we won a game. We made that mistake of pissing him off. The Sir Highness Jump man came out of MJ and the rest of game all we did was look up at his shoes. Wow!!!!
For 8 straight years, the Eastern Conference was garbage. If he was in the West, he might not have made it to the finals as many times as he did. The best teams were in the West.
LeBron is a great player, no doubt, but back in the day it was a way different league. They weren't fouls called for everything like today. Can you imagine prime Jordan in today league? He'd put up whatever numbers he wanted to. Jordan was a killer, Lebron is just now learning that trait. Jordan never quit on his teams either.

I think Shannon says things like this just to get under Skips skin because he knows Skip dont like Lebron. There have been a bunch of players who have played against MJ who have told similar stories about trash talking Mike and regretting it. When you have players who've said they never trash talked MJ because they didn't want him to go off for 40+ points on them, that's being afraid of a player. Fear and respect are two different animals. The only team that different "fear" Jordan? The Detroit Pistons. Their record against him speaks for itself. Jordan: helluva player. But FEAR? Jordan owned the league, and a lot of that was due to marketing/endorsements. All this GOAT talk is more marketing than anything.
Actually, what the Pistons did to Jordan WAS a sign of fear. You have to halfway kill a man to keep him from beating you? That's the ultimate sign of it. When a dude comes around other men that can easily snatch their women from them? They attempt to hurt him hoping he won't come around anymore. Let him snatch just one of those women away from that click...dude might lose his life for it. It's called "FEAR". Zeek was scared of Jordan ascending him as the best player in Chicago. Jordan's Ghost
I love Shannon. he is a monster from his own sport. His takes on Mike are from an alternate dimension. KG telling his rookie trash talk Jordan story is the absolute greatest story I have ever heard.
"The Jordan rules" were about hurting him physicaly and trying to break him mentally. The pistons basicly forged Jordan's dominate will.
It was the jordan rules that made jordan who he is. It's why he doesn't like isiah Thomas to this day. He just like bird hated how they played. Jordan used hatred to fuel himself, and the pistons were probably his biggest source of fuel in his entire career
Thanks, Pistons!

Jordan literally ended up the bad girl pistons. He also created them because they formed that strategy after he had a 61 and 59 point win against them in the regular season. Look at what the Piston said about MJ and why Zeke came up with the Jordan Rules th-cam.com/video/aX9mWu-gN_w/w-d-xo.html
20 plus years later, MJ is still being talked about by those who were in the mist of his legacy. I saw one interview where a player spoke of going into the old Chicago stadium to play MJ and the bulls. He said it was like going to slaughter at the colosseum in Rome. MJ not only had a physical impact on the game, he ruled the hearts of the men he played against....fear installed every time on the court.

That's Mike. You're ALWAYS in fear of what that dude was going to do to his opposing team. No one fears Lebron in that way...is the point. Lebron simply plays by the numbers.
Shannon himself have said it repeatedly on his own show "everytime I see him, he just doesn't look real". Now imagine his opponents having to face him.
Kobe Bryant told the story of his first matchup with MJ and his teammate told Kobe to not look MJ in his eyes. That is the definition of your opponents fearing you.

All because of MJ, that's a fact. So many greats didn't get a ring. In Lebrons era many of the greats got rings with him and without him.
the best team mj played in the finals was the jazz no bulls opponent in the finals won a chip lakers were over the hill...especially magic.... lebron faced arguably the 2 greatest teams of all time in the spurs and the warriors beating the 72 warriors... theres no deny lebron could bring a bad team to the finals MJ never did that
