  • Most Toad the Wet Sprocket fans associate the song "Brother" with the band's 1995 album "In Light Syrup." The song, however, had its origins several years before it was included on Toad's rarities and B-sides release. "Brother" was first played by Toad in concert during the summer of 1992, and it was the second track on the "So I Married an Axe Murderer" soundtrack (released in July 1993). After its inclusion on "In Light Syrup," Toad performed "Brother" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in Los Angeles, CA on January 30th, 1996. The song is one of the ten most popular songs (based on frequency) that Toad has played in concert so fans are still likely to hear "Brother" at a show even now. This version of "Brother" was played at the Key Club in Los Angeles, CA on January 14th, 2011. It was taped by Jeff Lester using the following equipment:
Audio: HEB DPA4061 into Edirol R-09HR
    Video: Kodak Playsport
