  • Meet Vincent and his Asian Arowana Planted Tank! It is a common misconception that Arowanas cannot be kept in a panted tank or aquascape. While there are many things to take into consideration, it is possible.

A lovely fish, a great planted tank, and excellent filtration system. The owner clearly loves his fish, but I have a concern that the tank is far too small. You can see that the fish is having problems turning around. We wouldn't dream of keeping a Cardinal Tetra in a 6 inch tank, so why do we keep large fish like arowana in small tanks. In my view this fish needs a 10 foot by 4 foot tank as a minimum.

You guys are whiners like a bunch of noobs who keeps feeder goldfish. What tank size would you want to put in his condo/apartment? Any size bigger than this isn’t possible in Singapore housing. Clearly water quality is great. Fish looks like it’s in great condition. If the fish was stressed because it’s cramped in a small space. It will show. He’s managed to grow that Aro to that size so it’s not a runt
Anything bigger is a pond setting . Lol.

I not sure if the rock were real, I hope they are plastic"fake rocks".
That fish is probably worth over 9,000usd 😉 😜 😘.
I wish the tank was a be more square than rectangle, but that would cost double the price of the long tank so, you got to compensate for pricing.
I just wish the tank was wider though, he can really show off a beautifully planted arrowana fish tank.
Still looks great amazing, and I can't even afford the live plants, so who am I to talk like an expert right, so mind me yapping away, you just do you, don't worry about what anyone else think, it's not our business and it's not our tank, it's 100% yours to do whatever you so choose.

Sir the arowana you’re talking about is silver arowana then I agree it is small if the fish is silver arowana but the asian arowana normal size like this video is around 60cm some can grown to 70cm(in the captive environment) and this tank is 180x61x61 is enough for them. If you do research for the asian arowana you can see most fish tank may be smaller than this and in also the same for most in south east asia, they live kinda long and normal.
