Death to them all when they come inside!! The bastards!!! My kitchen has been INVADED somehow! Killed 8 of them yesterday!! They can't pollinate my skillet.
7% dish soap water in a spray bottle works wonders. Just a little spritz makes them helplessly fall to the ground because they can’t fly anymore. If you’re on a wood floor, you can then smash them. If you’re on carpet, you can pick them up with a paper towel and then smash them.
They’re trying to convince us not to kill these things. Also, He said they’re just here for a little while…they’ve been here for 3 weeks. That’s more than “a little while”.
Wow, I thought I had a problem, but nothing like the CO Miller! I sprayed them pure white vinegar and it did not phase them at all. But someone recomended Peppermint Oil as full proof. Last night I found a bag of oatmeal that was invaded with tiny moths!! For some reason t was put where I only keep my extra grocery bags. Most of my dry food is in glass jars with screw tops, so that was all safe, but when I bought 75 pounds of different types grains, some were put into tupperwear containers that have a screw top unfortuately I found a little bit of evidence of contamination in each of them. 😢 I cleaned everything out, but they are still flying around mainly on kitchen the ceiling, but not in the panty. Since there's nothing else they can eat now, I don't know how long it take for them to starve to death.
Back in the 2000s, I lived in a 70 year-old apartment building with original doors, windows, and vents and a landlord who was too cheap to modernize or fix things. There were bad years where 100+ would get in even when you kept the lights as low as possible. Try catching a hundred moths-I’d love to see you try.
They lay their eggs on clothes in your cupboard and eat holes in your clothes. They they zoom into your face when you are sleeping. I hate hate hate these damned things. Stay outside moths and do your job pollinating instead of annoying me to no ends!!!
@@MotorBlockGarage I know difference between a moth and junebug lol. I'm telling u, I grabbed it by wings and was gonna throw it outside and it turned around and started frantically nibbling my finger
Well, your first mistake was trying to catch it instead of just smashing it. That being said, they don’t even have mouths or teeth. They have a tube called a proboscis that they used to sip nectar and water.
Listen if they’re outside, I’m not killing them. But they come into my house? Death

Exactly right.
@@filly3594your first sentence is so cringe. you must be a 58 year old boomer man who thinks they're never wrong about anything
Our cat doesn't understand this.
Neither does mine.😂

5 weeks and counting now. This is the worst moth year I can remember in a long time.
This year the moths are overwhelming. They squirt red pee on you!

Catching them inside and releasing them outside is a fun time for those of us looking for a challenge and something to do.

pests are NOT pets or friends.
These things do bite!
They don't bite. They just fly at your face smacking you. You probably had a June bug. being it's almost June. And those things are big and do bite.
I don’t think they have teeth, they drink pollen through a straw essentially

Include Kansas...I opened my mailbox, and a few dozen fluttered out ...
Same for me in ks, except they like staying in between the 2 doors to my deck.
