Outstanding. Old shakey-handed, post-stroke gamer here revisting the game now that I'm retired. Fallen in love with settlement building, but I can't always align things. Your tips are a godsend, THANK YOU!!!
You’re welcome and thank you too! Aligning things without mods can be frustrating so I’m happy that the video helped you. I’m glad that you are loving settlement building - I’ve never grown tired of it myself.
Bravo, your step by step construction will be very helpful for me when I go back to the castle and scrap the janky construction I did trying to make the castle look better. Your attention to detail is so impressive, thank you for this (and all your) video(s) from a new subscriber.
If you are looking for the wood floors that are located above the entryway, those came from the Far Harbor DLC but any of the wood floors will work. All the rest of the floors are from the Far Harbor DLC and are found in the Structures/Barn/Floors build menu. If you have the Contraptions Workshop DLC, it contains the identical floor foundations in the Structures/Warehouse/Floor build menu. I will include this information in future videos - thanks for letting me know!
@cryingcube2 Oh that's a shame. I'm kinda struggling with what to do with Nordhagen Beach ⛱️ 😕 I'm not the most creative person although I've done well with a good few settlements 😊
@@cryingcube2 Finch Farm I'd love to see you do along with Starlight Drive-In and Putpost Zimonja. I'd like a Vault 88 also because that just seems like far too much for me to even comprehend 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for your suggestions! You've given me some ideas! I originally struggled with Starlight Drive-in because it is big and open. I made it into a trading post in my modded game. I am currently trying to recreate it in my vanilla game - so I could post a tour when I'm finished. In my modded game, Outpost Zimonja is a BOS outpost - I haven't tried this one in vanilla - although it is a candidate. Believe it or not - I've never finished a build at Finch Farm. I get hung up on how to make a believable way to get from the ground up to the overpass. I think of Finch Farm as a scavenging hub - Mr. Finch gathers all of the junk and then sells it to traders. I want to use the Contraptions Workshop conveyers and sorters in this build. I'm totally with you on Vault 88 - I didn't get very far with this one. I couldn't figure out how to get all of the parts to work and fit together. It also seems the settlers have pathing problems and can't get around if you build in it. There are a few videos out there that might help if you want to build there though.
It sounds like you enjoy building! It is a satisfying accomplishment to build a settlement that turns out well - sometimes it takes a while to get it to where you are happy with it. To me, Nordhagen beach is a good location for a seaside village with a marketplace up near the road by the bridge and cabins for the settlers down by the water. It is also across the water from the Boston Airport so if you side with the BOS, it could be set up as a BOS training camp or a BOS outpost.
The foundations that were used to make the castle walls came from the Far Harbor DLC and can be found in the Structures/Barn/Floor build menu. If you have the Contraptions Workshop DLC, this kit contains the same foundations and can be used instead. They will be located in the Structures/Warehouse/Floor menu. The iron bars that are used for the railings (I think that is what you are asking about - if not, let me know) are from the Wasteland Workshop DLC and are found in the Structures/Concrete/Miscellaneous build menu. Thinking about it. I probably should have included this information in the video. I will do this for future videos - thanks for bringing this to my attention!

This has inspired me to try and be more ambitious in my settlement builds. Nicely done.
Thank you! I'm glad that the video was helpful to you!
Such a precise video with excellent placements, thank you.
Thank you - appreciate the feedback!

Thank you and welcome! Hope this helps with your castle renovation! I also appreciate your feedback on the videos!
Very nice. I play on the PC, so I used console commands to "setangle z" the concrete floors to 9, 72, and 144 degrees.
Thanks! Good idea - that is much easier! For the videos, I try to find a way to that everyone (on PC, Xbox or PlayStation) can build.
Absolut underrated Channel. Thank you very much 🙂

Do you have a ps5? I'd love to show you some of my settlement builds and get some feedback and ideas.
No - sorry I don't have a PS5. Which settlements are you interested in?

Yes - that is the Prydwen.
