All Thai people are part of the success of the great Songkran festival in Thailand. We promise next year we will do better and every tourists from all over the world will return their home with unforgettable impressions.
The water war was happened in Thailand. Everybody were armed. The foreigner were participated in this war. Everyone throws water bullets at each other. But everyone was smiling and having fun to the fullest. " Songkran festival Thailand " Happy !
In Philippines we also have some festivals like this, it’s called Buhusan and San Juan. The difference, them is Buddhism, in Philippines it’s Catholicism.
I just got back today from Bangkok and had the pleasure of celebrating Songkran 2023. It was indeed crazy fun getting wet during the day then partying all night. Looking forward to the next. Happy Songkran to our Thai brothers ❤🇵🇭
Hope our two water festivals San Juan like Songkran will be as peaceful and respectable. In San Juan it becomes disrespectful as merry makers wet those going to the offices. Some even use dirty water, talk about being uncivilized. While in Balayan, the water festivities coincide with the lechon parade. Hope you can vlog about it come June 24 and you teach us how to have fun without disrespecting others

The white power is the "Marl" (marly limestone) . Thai call "ดินสอพอง" (Din Sor Pong) in the ancient, Thai people use it as cosmetics, face powder and skin powder, melt it with water and fill some fragrance, and it popular to use in Songkran festival. Since this year the Goverment not allow to use it, because it seems to difficult to clean after festival passed. So now, not much people to use it in Songkran because the rule from Goverment.
Hey Mergim finally you back to Thailand for the very famous festival of the world I am very jealous to you in this video you have a lot of fun I can see your face In Khaosan Roar very famous for foreigners I miss Thailand so much
Hopefully you get better and healthier in very soon sir! The water war is need you and more back up, we have smilley face to share! So we're waiting for you! :))
This year, Khao San Road, the darker it is, the more people there are. . Including at Silom, Sukhumvit, Siam Square, Icon Siam, Nana, Soi Cowboy, Bangna, Ratchaprasong, Asiatique and anywhere in Bangkok. and neighboring provinces everywhere, there are a lot of people Including in Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hat Yai, Pattaya, Sriracha, Hua Hin , Khon Kean , Udonthani, Korat , Ubonratchathani and all provinces.
It's the same here in the Philippines the feast of st. John the Baptist, here a lot fun because the fire truck have to participate but not a strong water only mild water and all was wet .
Mergim there's a fiesta similar to that in the Philippines in San Juan City in Manila, it's Saint John festival I think around June if I'm not mistaken
Looks a lot of fun!!! We have that one here in Ph during the feast of St John the Baptist! Anywhere in Ph with a Brgy called San Juan will have that 😅😅
Welcome to the biggest water war in the world presented by Thailand AAA+++. ฺBe careful, you will be 360 degree attacked from unknown people. Good luck guys. LOL ❤❤❤
btw its coming JUNE 2023. the fiesta theme called WATA WATA. i never go there coz on our street they are doing this already but not like the one in plaza
Here in Philippines we have here the same Celebration in San Juan city the local government use the water canon of the firetruck. It not only in Thailand but also in festivals celebration here in Philippines by our patron San Juan Bautista. Here in the Philippines we not use just a toy watergun. We use a firetruck in parade to splash 💦 of water the entire people in the city cooperate in celebration 🎉.we celebrate extremely wet.
In Thailand ,Song Kran is the festival to start Thai new year. All Thai will celebrate and we dont do or say the bad to others. That's why everyone is so much fun and happy.
@@天空-n6l how can say not fun like Thailand? Oh common come and visit Philippines to experience the festival celebration in every local baranggay here in Philippines. Here in Philippines we have different festivals in every region not once in a year. That's why we are tagged " it's more fun in Philippines "
We also have a similar festival in the Philippines but it’s a regional one. Wattah Wattah Festival or Basaan Festival is the feast of St. John the Baptist, patron saint of San Juan, Metro Manila, and of many other communities throughout the Philippines, held every June 24th.
At 9:32 that's how Thais originally began Songkran day with. The ceremony began with pouring water through the shoulder of the Buddha image (not the head 555) from a tiny golden / silver cup. he is not vacationing, he is literally live in thailand because his gf is from there.. he is only touring philippines but eventually he will leave the philippines.
We do have a similar festival which is the Nativity of John the Baptist in the Philippines were everybody gets wet in San Juan, Metro Manila and San Juan Day in Balayan Batangas with parade of Lechon...held every June 24 👍
It looks like the festival in Thailand is more organized unlike here in the Ph. You only get to wet/soak people along designated walking streets. Here in the Ph, people just throw water at everyone even non-participants. It's so bad that they even soak people inside jeeps, even trying to open doors of private cars or taxis just to throw water at its occupants. Bastos ika nga.
we also have a similar (Apung Iru "Grandfather/Saint Peter" or Libad "Fluvial Parade") Festival in Apalit, Pampanga which is held during June 28, 29 and 30
Mergim, the traveler … from enjoying the beaches in Boracay to the Thai New Year or Songkran Water Festival in Bangkok. The man, who towers almost everyone else in the street, definitely knows how and where to play and have fun. Way to go. 👍
