- This is the first trailer of the Dubbed version of Gundam 00.
Gundam 00 will be premiering in the US on November 24th of this year on the Sci-Fi channel. Yeah, the Sci-Fi channel, not Adult Swim. Here's a first look at the dubbed English version of Gundam 00

Nostalgia gives me the special kind of feels man.
Well, they've already announced the following as well:
Saji Crossroad - Gabe Khouth (Nicol Amalfi)
Louise Halevy - Kelly Sheridan (Sango, Miharu)
Kinue Crossroad - Anna Cummer (Miriallia Haw)
I wonder who will be playing Aeolia, Graham, and Ali. Those guys rocked in the Japanese version.

I like Allejuah's new voice, it makes him seem more dark, and I wonder how that will play out once they introduce Hallejuah :)
I'll have to say, Brad Swaile is becoming better and better with each role he plays. Now he gets a kick ass character and does the job very well so far. I look forward to this series.
It feels like a rehash of old gundam series though if you look at the voice actor list, but it should be quite different than before.
This is so far the best Gundam Series I honestly want a season 3 like the aftermath of Awakening of the TrailBlazer
as an avide gundam fan since I was 12, I'm jumping off the walls in anticipation to being able to watch 00 dubbed.
It also pleases me that most of the cast are familiar voices from previous gundam series.
Setsuna's English voice actor is Brad Swaile who also did Amuro Ray in the U.C timeline, Light in Death Note, Dearka in SEED, Dearka AND Auel in SEED, and that Quatre guy in Gundam Wing

It's been a long time since a gundam anime aired on TV here in the U.S. The last one that was shown on TV that I remember was Gundam Seed. So this will be the first Gundam show to be licensed by Sunrise in quite a while.

i'm majorly excited for this to come out on Sci-Fi! We all have our indivisual opinions, but my opinion is the voice casting is great! I do agree with scenefactoryxx about hearing Setsuna talk. Allelujah will give me laughs... My friend and I always teased how Inuyasha screams Kagome's name... XD

Right on! I've been a Gundam fan even before it had an official U.S. release.
With subs, it's hard to concentrate on the on screen action & subtleties while trying to also keep up with the dialogue.
From my experience, fans often over react before they have a chance to experience several episodes of a animes English version.

i loved it when Exia gundam did that red glow mode thing, and went super speed.
The first gundam series is the spur that jump started Gundam. The first gundam was the RX-78-2 that was piloted by Amaro Ray and the 78 became the blueprint for ALL future gundam mobile suits. It was built as a mobile suit to defend against the Principality of Zeon. Then the later stories, 00, seed, and wing are future anime series after Gundam.
I was just about to post the latest English voice update, but you beat me to the punch. Just so everyone else on here knows the guy playing Lichty is NOT the same David Kaye who plays Sesshomaru in Inuyasha.

I missed this when it aired. I didn't know Sci Fi had an anime block. Plus I was use to seeing Gundam on CN/[as].
true, true. However, it's interesting that the English voice actor of Setsuna is the same voice actor of Amuro Ray. Amuro of course was the first main protagonist of the Gundam-franchise, appearing in "Mobile Suit Gundam", "Zeta Gundam" and "Char's Counterattack".
A sort of linking the old series with the new. :)

I consider myself an anime fan and I still have trouble putting all of the variations and spin offs of Gundam in order. I just ordered Episodes 1-50 of Gundam Wing & 1-50 Gundam Seed. Are these good starting points for this apparently massive universe?
thats subbed buddy. the japanese version came out last year, so now the english version is coming out already.

i pretty sure that on the new trailer in gundam 00 official site that alendro corner is voiced by quinton flynn or brian drummond... they sound so alike its hard to tell, and paul does a great job with graham...

yes. Gundam Wing is the first english Gundam (that i know of) and i started with that. it really helps and its my fav. gundam
Brad may be overused, but he's still an amazing voice actor. I was surprised (but happy) to see RIA for Allelujah. Same with Sam Vincent for Tieria. I'd like to see who voices Graham, Alejandro, and Billy :)
@minisiets it isnt possible to like both? and i dont base it solely on the actors. The dub cut scenes out.

Oh it will. I read it on wikipedia. You know who's doing it? Paul Dobson. One of the best english voice actors around as far as I'm concerned. His most famous voice is Naraku from Inuyasha.

If it means this series gets released sooner then that isn't a problem I was just surprised to recognise him.
The Gundam Seed Movie was planned long before Seed Destiny was released.. AFAIK this series held its own, although some have plot holes but still great.

i had seen it was supposed to be tmoro NOV 17 on sci fi but i cant find it on the guide
What a lot of people fail to mention is.. that with subs you have to read the translation (unless you speak japanese!?!?) so your eyes are reading instead following what is going on. And while the english voices may seem dead, looking at the facial expressions shows emotion...unless you are reading the translation subbers.
Its great that they didn't change the names of Gundam Meisters.

Do they show full episodes? I went to the Sci-Fi webisite and can't find anything about Gundam 00. I really want to catch up to the series, so I could start watching it on television.

wiki said it had similar themes to gundam wing, the one that made most westerners fans including me. I have to say, I was impressed. It may be even better. Not quite as much character development but it's more sophisticated, being intended for a more mature audience. also the real world had changed so much in the decade since gundam wing, so it seems more relevant; better dialogue generally. even clever enough to know what a false flag is and incorporate that into the plot.
Two thumbs up.

one of my favorite fight in gundam history is in the colony laser when Quattro tries to take on Haman and Scirrocco its to good man i think Quattro(Char) would have put a good fight if he also had a newtype compatible mobilesuit.
