- In this vlog we head to Worlds Of Fun, a theme park located in Kansas City, Missouri. The park opened back in 1973 and features 7 different roller coasters all based in a fantastic setting. In this vlog we experience all of the roller coasters on offer at Worlds Of Fun along with sharing our full review of the park. We also ride on a classic arrow log flume, a great rapids ride and much more!

This is my home park as well, and it's refreshing to hear a different perspective. WOF was packed in the 80's, but before internet, smart phones, etc., that's how we'd spend our time.
I'll never forget, when I was ten, my mom dropped off my buddy and I at WOF along with our "girlfriends". The girls tried impressing us by putting on bright red lipstick, but they smeared it on so thick, they looked like clowns. My mom was in tears. 🤣
WOF is very nostalgic for me although much has changed over the years. Now, I'm taking my own kids there and enjoying the park in a different way.

Welcome to my home park. Prowler is killer and the other big two are awesome. WoF would be a must stop if we just had one more big coaster. Thanks y'all have fun in the states

This is my home park and I'm glad you guys enjoyed it! I feel like its underrated. There's plenty of room for expansions in the future if they ever will, so I think this park could really grow to be something special. I love your channel and enjoy watching your vlogs! Can't wait for more from this trip and from you in general!

Its been a decade since Cedar Fair has added a new coaster (Prowler). It's about time for a new one!

People seem to forget how thriving this park use to be in the 80's. Long lines were a norm back then.....
I still enjoy my home park in WOF but it saddens how little Cedar Fair puts into the park.

You're right; without on-ride shots, it's really about the journey. Not that hearing you and Alex talk about the rides isn't fun. We did get a water ride, and the water in the flume ride was commendably clean. Still...GOATS!!! I miss Charlotte. But I will say, that Alex is one handsome beast.

The best operator message before dispatching a ride was an operator on Flight of Fear saying “copperhead strike is overrated” right before the ride launched out of the station.

Loving this series you've put together. Started out abit slow with your illness and the seemingly below average six flags parks but the last couple you've done have been 10/10. Can't wait for the next few.

Another great vlog. I second what you said about the Boomerang, that ride has a special place in my heart. The one you rode at American Adventure is the exact same one that was my first looping at the Glasgow Garden Festival '88.

It was really cool meeting you, since you were there they fixed the braking on Boomerang and Mamba hasn’t been trimming quite as hard and now you get some okay floater on the bunny hills. Yesterday there was a crazy storm and a massive power outage at the park, but they got all but 4 rides open in the same day, and btw a nighttime show and parade start this weekend with Grand Carnivale. The reason why there are temporary lights is because there was a massive fight early in the season and the park is making it clear they have zero tolerance for that kind of behavior.
Another great vlog and a solid park , lacked the wow factor of silver dollar for me and ride wise a bit generic.
Really enjoying these.

This was my first park that wasn't Silver Dollar City. I saw Rich Little perform at the amphitheater there..... if you don't know who Rich Little was..... that's okay, I am old.... but he was a HUGE deal back in the day.
Shame you didn't film in cyclone sams, would of got to hear me and my husband screaming 😂😂😂 That's also the moment we wussed out of saying hi until later that day lol.
I got the worst seat on fury of the nile, I actually got soaked😆 which never happens on that ride. I loved that they added the petting farm too, I adored the ponies 😁 Great video guys, nice to hear good thoughts on this park for once lol. Plus great meeting you both there, it was our highlight 😊
That entrance is a massive change from when I worked there during the 2010 season.

Personally being here, I feel Worlds of Fun is the most underrated Cedar Fair park. Loads of charm and a solid coaster line-up!

I admit, I'm guilty of passing on this park too. We drove right by it on the way to Silver Dollar City, looked at each other and said "Nah". Looks like we missed out on some great coasters.

Just went back today, and boy they fixed the trim on mamba It flies right through that mid course, but mamba is running so fast and smooth finally getting proper ejector on the bunny hills again, prowler is a top knotch ride, patriot is so graceful with a couple spots of forces and the timber wolf is a nice wild card. But them four costers alone make the park worth visiting and they're clearing space behind boomerang for a 2023 Coaster, expect news soon. You heard it here first.

Worlds of Fun is one of the neglected parks from Cedar Fair. Went there a lot when I was a kid - 4 hour drive from Omaha, Ne. I wish Cedar Fair would develop this park more. They have a lot of space for rides. They have taken out signature rides like the Orient Express, which was my favorite as a kid. Please Cedar Fair, develop this park.

I broke my toe back in 2002 and went to BPB opening day. My god the pain was crazy so I feel Alex’s pain. This looks like another fun park. The cedar fair parks seem to have plenty of attractions to help soak up the crowds (Alton Towers take note) 😉

Fun fact: the executives at Nagashima Spaland went around the USA going on coasters to find a ride model to build at their park, and after riding Mamba decided to build Steel Dragon 2000.

Cedar Point doesn’t seem to care too much about Worlds Of Fun from what I’ve seen. But yeah we do need a new coaster. It’s not like we don’t have the land for cause we do. Plenty of land to build another coaster just corporate negligence.
I've always thought it seems to be the least forgotten out of the most forgotten parks by Cedar Fair. Some good credits that even Michigan's Adventure would die for!

the ferris wheel by patriot is a Eli Bridge Company Wheel same people that make the older looking scramblers and fun fact they are still in business today which is awesome to see

I love goats! I've always been an animal lover, so whenever I go to a place that has a petting zoo, I try to go to it.
I've ridden Spinning Dragons several times and operated the load and dispatch positions a few times. The lines are always this long due to not running enough trains. You were wise to wait around for the ride to get fixed. Faults are a normal occurance with this one and usually maintenance gets it back up and running after a few minutes. I hope Cedar Fair fixes these issues, but I'm not holding my breath. Landscaping aside, WOF is often neglected.
