One thing I really love about Goliath at Fiesta Texas is that it survived Katrina. After about 2 years of it being abandoned as Batman: The Ride, Six Flags found it ideal to repair it, relocate it to Fiesta Texas, apply a new coat of paint with a different color scheme and theme, and reopen it, providing a new lease on life. Bravo, Six Flags for reducing, reusing, and recycling. Thanks, Wikipedia!

I was so excited to hear some of the Hook soundtrack in that night time show. Such an amazing ost by John Williams and unexpected to hear at a Six Flags park (That and E.T.) Great first vlog even considering the park is not very well liked by you both. Can’t wait for the rest!
Six Flags are always kind of hit or miss. They just focus on the big rides and neglect everything else. If those rides go down there is really isn't many redeeming qualities to their parks. They're known for buying existing parks but doing little to upgrade them or even maintain them. The fact that they overextended themselves and almost went bankrupt is the main problem right now since they still haven't fully recovered. And now they're not even able to install the big rides they became famous for anymore. They can't afford B&M, Mack, or Intamin and they can barely afford RMC as it is. It looks like for the time being they will be working with S&S and Premier for any new coasters. Hopefully they'll bounce back soon but in the meantime focus on the overall quality of their parks during their financial recovery.

So excited for this trip. My wife and I always love the vlogs. Six Flags is tough. I like Magic Mountain and Great America but no others have ever impressed me, outside of a standout coaster or two. Cheers!

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is definitely the best themed six flags park. They released some concept art for their zamperla air race and their refurbished kiddie area and it is impressive. They seem to really care a lot about the appearance.
OK. I had to go watch a full video of the nighttime show. That is my favorite non Disney theme park show I've ever seen. Especially with the finale music. (Firebird finale) Well done, wish it was still running in person tho, would have hauled butt over there to see that. But this is just a flip of fantasmic. More fireworks less fountains.

I have never been to Fiesta Texas but other You Tubers have said good things about the park. Sounds like you may have gone on a bad and unlucky day. Hopefully you won’t judge it too harsh on a one day experience and maybe give it another chance some day.

Delighted to have just started watching the USA trip vlogs, after happily watching ALL of your Disney vlogs over the past few weeks since I found this super channel. I loved every minute of those vlogs as I adore Disney and was lucky to get 2 days in Disney World in 2009. I'm planning a Disney trip for my 40th next year, I blame TWW if I have to spend a chunk of my mortgage deposit to fund it. 😂

When you were in the rain, I was thinking about our last trip to Disney World last December. We were in line for Test Track and it started to rain, well, SLIGHTLY DRIZZLE. They closed Test Track indefinitely before we got on to wait out the rain and I thought; all that remodeling of the ride and THEY STILL CLOSE IT IF THERE’S A SPRINKLE! You would think Disney would have spent some money to cover the outside section of the track to prevent that... ESPECIALLY in Florida where it rains every 10 minutes!
When the park opened, it was one of USA's most in my view. So sad six flags got it and did away what it was about. It was mainly a entertainment show park with some well themed rides as well. They had shows even in the stores. I would so love to get to enjoy the park it was back then. I guess Silver Dollar City and Dollywood are as close as you can get in this country today. I just found your videos last week. Loved your Europa Park videos. Europa and Eftling are two of my favorites. Disney land my number one and Dollywood is up there as well to me. Thanks for what you do.

Wonderful vlog, guys! I really enjoyed it. I live in Houston so Fiesta Texas is one of my home parks. I agree - it's average at best, but it's worth a trip when we add in the city's River Walk and some local show caves. :oD
My first visit to this park was great, my second visit was exactly like this, poltergeist and wonder woman were down, as was the boomerang. Also the lift on Iron rattler has been sped up fortunately
Yeah I was at Great Adventure a couple of days ago and the operations were terrible. I think every major coaster was down at least once over the course of the day. It’s a shame the last few hours of the day had me waiting for Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro to re-open. It also didn’t help when I ran to Bizarro for my final ride of the day and it just closed when I got there. And it was 8:54 too! I hate it when parks close rides prior to the actual park closure. So yeah...I think bad operations at a Six Flags park is a common theme. Hope your having a lot of fun!

On ride filming is not permitted at many of the parks we visited on this trip unfortunately. There are however a few vlogs with POV's included!

Those Larson loops were common in the early 80s in the UK. I remember seeking one at Great Yarmouth when i was a kid but was too young to ride it.
good vlog again... Parks atmosphere even from the vlog seemed dull. Cant wait for the vlogs to roll in now!
